I came here to wash my 25 lbs king-sized weighted blanket and it washed well in the small washing machine along with the large dryer, just prepare some quarters! The machines are definitely industrial grade compared to my apartment’s appliances. There’s a waiting area with children’s toys that can seat large families and groups. I have been a Clean Smart customer for about four years now. Over the years, there have been issues where items were returned to me damaged; however, I fully understand that human error is a thing. I have extended grace for the most part; however, the last straw was recently when my Jacquemus blouse was returned to me with a missing adornment.

Like many women can likely relate, it is rare that I wear my dry cleaned items as soon as they are picked up. In my case, it is common that my dry cleaned clothes will remain in the plastic garment covers for several weeks before I even uncover them and return them to my closet. As such, about three weeks after I picked up my dry cleaning, I decided to wear the Jacquemus blouse and noticed the adornment was gone. I contacted Clean Smart immediately. Kevin, the young guy that works at the front desk, was initially supportive in that he insisted that he would have the owner contact me and that the owner would be willing to rectify the situation. It has been almost two weeks and (1) I have not been contacted by the owner, and (2) my blouse is still damaged.

Kevin even informed me that the owner reviewed the camera and didn’t see any footage that confirmed that the blouse was damaged. I wish I made this up.

As a business that agrees to clean an array of garments, the least that is expected is for the associates to handle those garments with care. If and when an associate damages a garment, Clean Smart should automatically be deemed liable. This is baseline customer service.

Like others have stated, engaging with the front desk staff is typically off-putting. I understand having a bad day, but this is a customer-facing business. Overall, I would highly suggest taking an assessment of your business practices.

Items that were returned to me damaged:
- The Attico cargo pants (one of the button gussets were missing once I picked up the pants)
- Denim shirt (button was completely ripped from the fabric)
- Tench coat (button missing from coat; they found another and replaced it)
- Jacquemus blouse (gold metal tassel was displaced)

After extensive research to find a place capable of cleaning my VERY dirty wedding dress, made of delicate silk that I thought was impossible to restore, they left it looking brand new! Do not get your items tailored here. My experience was terrible. I have a Ralph Lauren Polo jacket that I wanted tailored. I wanted the sleeves to be brought up. Sadly the quality of the work is subpar. They initially put in two stitches in each arm of the jacket. 2. So incredibly disappointing This kind of jacket required a hidden stitch going all the way around meeting the knit of the jacket and the lining. It required the buttons to also be moved up because of where the cut was done. The buttons were seemingly placed evenly on one side and on the other side they just decided they no longer gave a damn. Although I don't trust the quality of the stitching and will be taking it somewhere else to get repaired and redone. She did actually try to stitch through the entire arm of course it was no longer a hidden stitch and the stitches she did started coming on done on the way home. True initially the jacket had holes for the buttons which would have been hidden because of the cut being done. . Someone decided to remove the protective stitching around an existing buttonhole that would be hidden due to where the cut would be made however they removed the stitching around it and left a frayed hole The seamstress seems to be more concerned with eating her lunch and actually doing her job she initially tried to convince me that it would be fine if we just ironed out the arms why weren't they ironed out in the first place it taken to get cleaned, but I digress. If you're just taking really basic items to get cleaned in a pinch, I recommend that for shirts/pants fine but if you want jackets or coats to get clean here take them elsewhere I also left two wool coats that honestly look like they need a lint roller run through them. I guess they smell better. I did take some mens shirts because I needed them cleaned. However after that transaction I will likely not be coming back.

Let me start off by saying that this not the dry cleaner's that I usually use.  (The boiler was out at the one I use on a regular basis and could not guarantee that my stuff would be out in time for my trip.) The young lady that checked my stuff in yesterday was very pleasant.  A little more pricey than what I'm used to but oh well,  we do what we must.  The lady that checked on my clothes today was very rude.  There was no one there when I got there,  so there was no line.  As I was wrapping up a conversation with my husband over the phone,  she started tapping the counter saying she needs my phone number very rudely.  I paused my conversation and gave it to her.  She stated that my clothes were not ready.  To which I responded that they were supposed to be ready today.  I pulled my receipt and she snatched it out of my hand and went to the back only to find that my stuff WAS in fact ready.  Thank goodness the young lady that helped me yesterday came from the back to complete our transaction.  I will not be going back.  Her attitude repulsed me. As a paying customer,  attitudes are not acceptable.

Very unprofessional. Will be taking my business elsewhere (regularly have $90-100 in cleaning every 2 weeks or so.). Travel often for work (75%) so I’m always diligent about getting clothes cleaned. Great service.  Came here for an alteration to my pants and they got it done fast and the results were great.  I had to come back because I didn’t get the hem up long enough and that’s totally on me. I am beyond frustrated and utterly disgusted with the service I received at this dry cleaner/tailor. As an occasional customer who uses their services for ironing shirts, pants, and suits, I expected a basic level of professionalism and courtesy. What I encountered was an unbelievably rude and unhelpful individual who made it clear they have no respect for their customers.

My ordeal began when I called to inquire about shortening a pair of joggers and was quoted $12. However, upon arriving at the store, the woman at the front desk immediately set a hostile tone. I simply asked her to match the length of my joggers to another pair I had with me, a request that seems perfectly reasonable for a tailor. Her response was an abrupt refusal, insisting I try them on for her to take measurements. She even had the audacity to question why I wasn't wearing tennis shoes, as if that were a prerequisite for a simple alteration!

Reluctantly, I tried on the joggers, she took the measurements, and then informed me it would take a week to complete. A week for a jogger shortening that takes less than 30 minutes to do! Then came the final insult: the price jumped from the quoted $12 to "around $15." When I playfully asked for a discount, as a returning customer, she actually laughed in my face and sneered, "Why would I give you a discount? You're not even a regular customer!"

At that point, I was absolutely fed up. Her demeanor was so incredibly rude, dismissive, and frankly, offensive, that I refused to continue with her "service." I told her to give me my pants back and walked out.

This was hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The woman working there is rude, mean, and clearly has no idea how to interact with people. I will never set foot in this store again, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. In fact, I will actively share my horrendous experience with everyone I know to ensure they avoid this establishment at all costs. You've lost a customer, and I hope others read this and take their business elsewhere.

I just dropped off my clothes and I didn't like the lady's energy at the counter. I felt like I was being interrogated about my clothes. Then my receipt was handed to me without any dialogue. I had to ask when my clothes will be ready. Remember there are lots of cleaners everywhere.

I dropped off my clothes and when I came to pick them up, they had accidentally mixed up.my order with someone else's.  As a result they gave my clothes to another customer.  They didn't have the customers phone number, so I waited nearly 3 weeks to finally get my clothes.  And when I did, there no apology, discount or anything.  This is the third incident I have had with them. Either they have misplaced my clothes or they mess up where I have to pay twice because they didn't keep a record of me paying the first time.  And I am forced to pay, otherwise I can't get my clothes.  They are so disorganized and so unprofessional.  The only I kept coming back was because it is so close to my house.  But I will no longer be doing business with them.  The convince isn't worth the headache

New customer of A1 cleaners but happy so far.  Pricing is reasonable and is disclosed up front.  If you’re not sure how much something will be show them the garments in question and ask.
Had to rework one item and did so with no issues.  Second time was a charm.
Wish they offered an option for delivery when you had less than 10 items.  Would gladly pay.   Their current delivery option is free if you have more than 10 garments but completely unavailable if you have 9 or less.  I’d propose you offer options for delivery of as few as 1 garment and then just price accordingly.

Called first to see if they did down comforter washes and they confirmed they do. Dropped this off and was in and out. Added a form of payment through the text they’ll send and paid for the item! Got there and just picked it up and walked right on out! Happy with the service, everyone was friendly and answering any questions, also like how quick I was helped!

15 pieces (some were two piece outfits of very easy to clean fabric) would have usually cost me 150-170 at my normal cleaners. I decided to try this one because it’s in my back yard. They sent the text that the clothes were ready and the total was $190. High, but ok. I pick up the clothes and now the total jumps to 227.16 because of “taxes and fees”. Never again. This place is ridiculous.

I’ve worked with several cleaning companies over the years, and none have come close to the level of professionalism, detail, and consistency delivered by this team. From the moment they arrived, they were punctual, courteous, and laser-focused on making everything spotless. They didn’t just clean—they transformed the space.

I took my shirt in to be altered and they ruined it. I had a shirt with a mandarin collar and asked them to remove the top button, and open the collar up by folding the material in and sewing the fabric at an angle where the button use to be. The lady helping me marked the shirt and said when they sewed it they would fold the fabric in. When I went to pick my shirt up they had completely removed the collar. the lady was extremely rude and combative and basically told me too bad. When I insisted she refunded me the $25 cost to alter the shirt (not the cost to replace the shirt) she told me couldn't refund me because she needed a password. I picked up my shirt on Thursday and she told me I would have to come back Monday when the Manager would be there to give her the password. I don't think  she expected me to come back Monday because when I showed up this morning she looked extremely annoyed I was there and when I asked for the Manager she told me she was the manager and gave me my refund in cash.

I hate having to even give them 1 star just to post a review. They’ve ruined my clothing and my husband’s clothing, and neither of us have the time to describe it. Just don’t go here if you care about your clothing.

Brought my dress here to be cleaned. When I picked up my dress 3 days later it had a hole on the sleeve and the wire inside was sticking out of the dress. When I pointed this out the lady managed to repair the wire but sadly all that could be done about the hole is stitching it up which didn't really resolve my issue because it's still noticeable and now instead of just a hole in my dress I have a stitched up hole in my dress which is just as ugly. If you go here you have to think ahead and understand things take time. I loved my experience I needed my daughters sleep suit fixed with a new zipper. I damaged it by accident, I was impressed with the outside of  the place and the inside. The lady was nice to attend me and called to ask if they could because it’s a long zipper. She even asked for the same color I just wanted it fixed. I thought that was a great attention to detail. Thank you very much. The only reason I stated the very first comment was because some people expect it to be done the exact same day with any sewing or alteration, or even dry cleaning. It’s a process everything in life takes time so if you were not patient, not understanding I highly do not recommend this for you, but anyone that takes the time reads and understands, I’d really highly recommend this place definitely taking my business there again. I tried another closer to my home. They didn’t even answer the phone love this place. They answer when I call also. Attached are photos of what they did for us.

Absolutely disappointed. I brought in 4 dresses and 1 blouse and was charged a shocking $91.26—with no breakdown of charges or explanation for the high cost. These same dresses have been cleaned before at much more reasonable prices elsewhere. I only switched cleaners because I moved, but this was clear price gouging.  2 stars for the clean clothes, the same level of clean that has been received elsewhere.  Nothing special at all.

To make matters worse, they advertise a 50% off discount for first-time customers—which they conveniently never mentioned, despite the fact that I told them it was my first visit, they entered my info into the system, and even texted me. I later saw other reviews from people with the same complaint.

Random fees, zero transparency, and no respect for new customers. First time. Last time.

I dropped off a dress shirt with a small food stain and mentioned it to the employee at the counter. I asked if I could point it out for the cleaner, but they told me not to worry—they’d inspect the shirts and spot the stains themselves. I didn’t want to press the issue, so I left it at that.

This morning, on my way to work, I looked down and noticed the stain was still there. It’s a small dot, but it’s right along the front center of the shirt—basically in line with the buttons—so it’s hard to miss. What’s even more frustrating is that it probably won’t come out now, since the cleaning and drying process likely set the stain in further. It could’ve been an easy fix if they had actually checked like they said they would.

They did help remove a stain on a white dress shirt around the neck line which is why I didn’t leave one star.

Never mind—I just saw that they offer 50% off to new customers. I was a new customer and didn’t receive any information about that offer so I’m making my review one star.

Positives: Staff were all very nice, clothes are clean, no damage to items.  And they offer 50% off your whole order for first time customers, so it was well worth it to give them a try.
However, I had 2 significant issues. First, I was told each dress would be $15 (minus the 50% off for first time customers). However, they added extra fees to each item for lining and material type (ALL materials - not just silk or wool) and charged a separate 4.50 for a belt that was part of the dress. Those fees should have been disclosed at drop off. Secondly, the app never updated to say my items were ready (staff admitted this was an error). When I called I was told my items were ready and confirmed they were at the Chimney Rock location which was my requested pick up location. When I arrived the clothes were not there and I was told they were at the West Gray location. I then drove to the West Gray location and was initially told they weren't there either. I insisted they check - and items were located - just not in the system. Thus it took 8 days and an hour of driving to get my dry cleaning. When I complained about the issues, they did take some money off which I greatly appreciated. This is why I gave them 3 stars instead of 1.
Note that ALL cleaning occurs at the Chimney Rock location - so it doesn't really matter which Omni cleaners you drop off at.

Very disappointed. I was charged $2.00 environmental fee on a pants alteration! Not dry cleaning but an alteration. Second, the clothes were a day late thus causing me to make 2 trips (you would think they would at least comp one piece of dry cleaning). Also, they don’t give you a price for a suit but charge you separately for coat and pants ($17.24 plus $2 more because it had a small amount of linen in it.). Very expensive! I’ll be looking elsewhere.

I drop off at west Gray location. Service was spectacular when Kim was working there. I understand things change. My complaint isn’t about service, the new lady there is pleasant. My issue is the pricing. They have gotten so unreasonably priced. Fortunately living the middle of the city I can find another qualified dry cleaners that doesn’t want to well… take me to the cleaners.

Clutch city laundry is a very clean and very well maintained laundry on Westheimer. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Maylin walked me through every steps as this was first time. There is a waiting area when your clothes are washed with nice music played. There are machine with different load size and prices differs based on the machine you use, but all are reasonable.

Hidden Gem on a bit of an obscure corner Just walked into sparkly clean laundry greeted by the lovely Maylian and offered me either the self wash or wash and fold service. As I was traveling I just self served. Machines were very easy to use and having forgotten powder I was able to get some for just a dollar. Plenty of space on the folding tables. Really glad I found this place

First time here .Customer Service was great. Amy is the best ! Ask for Amy she will provide the best assistance. Washers was very large considering their price. Dryers worked amazing . Whole place was beyond clean and organized. They have a comfortable lounge area where you can watch TV and sit in a comfortable rocking chair. There are also charging ports and chairs . No need for quarters . Fast , easy and quick laundry.

I love this place. Fast machines and great employees. Clean and super friendly environment. I feel completely safe whether I come to wash my clothes at 10am on a Sunday or 2am on a Friday night. Staff is always available at all times so if you run out of laundry detergent, dryer sheets or fabric softener, they offer small sizes to buy for fairly decent prices. Washer sizes come in 4 different sizes that range from small 1-2 loads for around $3.15, medium for 2-3loads around $5.25, large for 4-5 loads around $7.35 and extra large for 6-8 loads for around $11.95. (The large and extra large might be slightly off price but it's close to that.) Dryers come in 3 sizes, large 1-3 loads for $1.50, extra large for 4-5 loads for $2.00 and extra extra large for 6-8 loads for 2.50. the washers only take about 20-35 minutes depending on if want high, medium, low or delicate heat or you want a regular wash or want an "extra wash" and "extra rinse" for a small additional charge and. The payment system is by a card system they use with a dispensary card machine. You place your card on the machine and can load it with cash or debit card, for first time card dispense there's a small additional fee that I believe is only $3. Honestly it's the best laundry mat I've ever been to with top of the line machines that dry your clothes in one use for only about 40mins. Additional 5mins cost 25¢ but honestly just drying on medium heat will get the job done in one payment and no additional minutes added. I usually dry on medium and take my clothes out after around 25-30 mins with time still left on the machine. Kid friendly with a vending machine that offers snacks and drinks in one machine. Highly recommend this place. I've met all the staff and they're all so refreshingly friendly and helpful. Atziri, Sarah, Maylin and Yaleska are amazing! They're always the best! There's plenty of tables for folding laundry and a separate long bar type area to sit and wait for your clothes. There's also several outlets by the bar seating area so you can plug in your laptop or phone to charge if you need to. Bring your own charge cables and plugs though. Extra parking in the back with an outdoor seating area if it's busy inside and just need a breather. Also there's handicap accessible ramps in front and back. Honestly it's a great place and I highly recommend if you're in need of a laundry mat, or even if you get behind on your laundry duties and have an abundance of clothes that need washing. I've literally seen people come in with mountains of clothes they're folding up. Great time saver and a decent fair cost in my opinion. Comfortable chairs are available for waiting and they offer two televisions and a snack machine. There's a gas station next door and across street for a greater snack selection.

Update: the place has been open for about a year and I've been coming once a week this entire time. The place is still super clean and there's a few machines needing maintenance but they're normally pretty quick on repairs. Once they had a problem with the hot water heater and within an hour of me arriving and waiting, they already had it fixed up and ready to go. Honestly it's a great place. I've been to the one on dunvale and Richmond and it's kinda run down and only works on an app payment plan. I hated it. I will never go to that one again unless it's a dire emergency. Ladies, even if you have machines at home but don't have time to do laundry for hours on end on your day off, come here and spend less than two hours and have everything washed at home once. It's a time saver. Again, I've been coming a year and all the machines look brand spankin new. Sparkling stainless steel inside and no bad smells. No rust or any signs of wear and tear. It seriously is a great place. Forgot to mention that you can also drop off your laundry too for only $1 a pound. That's it! Saves time you may not have. I watch them washing clothes all day long and they're very thoughtful of others belongings and handle and fold with care. I couldn't recommend this place more. Honestly.

The spanish lady in the front may have some type of disabilty but lady you still got the job so please do what you are supposed to. Is like the entire place is a whole mess, like very NASTY! Hairs on the tables, restroom smells like piss and is always paper on the floor, trashcans ALWAYS over flowing and when she pulls out the trash she just throws it outside in the front. Carts are all over the place. Floors are always dirty. Dryers don't dry no more. I have to dry TWICE ALL the time. Seats are all broken and dirty. People park in the handicap with no placard. At this point this place needs a new person! That's CLEAN!

I’ve been coming here for 3 years . Came today paid 10 in one machine was gonna go buy detergent when I realized I didn’t have a rough money went back to put 5 more in . Know the machine said 6.44 meaning the 10 didn’t deposit put it also didn’t give me my money back . The guy acted like he couldn’t help me for me to call the manger she tried saying my card rejected it that I paid with a card which I didn’t because here it shows cash transactions . Since management has transitioned, Willie has maintained the cleanliness of the center, which is super important when cleaning our clothes, to have a clean environment. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Very rude people who work here. I was doing my laundry & I was still using the cart to hold my laundry basket & the employee moved it. I was sitting at the table & the same employee who moved my basket out of the cart holder was cleaning the tables right by me when I was sitting down. I’m not mad that he was cleaning the tables but at least wait until I’m no longer sitting down. I like this place but y’all need to do better with y’all customer service.

This Speed Queen Laundromat on 59 and Little York is the best. It’s always clean and I have never seen a machine out of order there. What is most impressive is Ms. Erica  who works there. She is super helpful, professional and such a hard worker. Every time I go there she is working on customer’s drop offs and makes sure to also take care of incoming customers at the same time. Jessica was beyond helpful! Haven't ever used a laundromat that was primarily processed through an app. She walked me through it step by step and layed out the setup and cost of the machines, multiple times becauss I was unsure. She was patient and her customer service was outstanding. Overall she made it very easy for my 1st time.

When I first walked in, Anthony had greeted me with an amazing smile. He made me feel very welcome and happy that I had came here to speed Queen. I had went to the machine where you add funds and was lost and he helpfully guide me to download the app and other instructions. Further a do he helped me understand the washing machine for which everything is now electronic. He is most definitely a hard working gentleman and well most definitely be coming back ! Thank you Anthony ☺️
