Clean and good working machines, but MAN is it expensive. The most expensive laundry and drying machines I've been to in East TX so far. Hot water costs extra & 75cent minimum just to start the dryer! What a rip off!

very clean. we are traveling around texas and staying at the state park near by.   we were going to go to my. pleasant but didn’t look so good.  i searched and found this place.   it’s great!!  free wifi love it.  came around 6:15 pm on a saturday.

I travel all over working and it seems all I do is give bad reviews of laundromat, but this place is different. I've been here twice and both times it's spotless. Machines are wiped down clean, floors are clean. Prices are average. It's worth the drive from Mt Pleasant down here just for this. Definitely recommend!

Very clean, met the owner and he was a friendly kind man. He has been working hard to make it a nice place to go! It is across the street from the police station so you can feel very safe here. All the machines I used worked wonderfully! I highly recommend this laundry facility!!

DISGUSTING! When is the last time they cleaned the soap dispensers on the machines??? The floor needs to be scrubbed! Just moved to the area from Tyler and I absolutely miss going to The Washday Laundry on University Blvd.!!! The lady that works there keeps that Laundromat in excellent condition! The way a Laundromat should be! Plus....FREE DRYERS!

Favorite laundromat in town. Love the mega washers, and they have a bunch of dryers to split your laundry and get out quick. Usually it’s pretty clean for a 24hr wash house. Although this morning I was taken off guard by someone sleeping on the tables where you fold your laundry. Not sure how often this happens here.

Went to do my laundry this morning but was unable to use my Dexter pay.  No sign giving location number and the lady working there had no idea.  I like using the Dexter app on account I do not have to put in all those quarters.  The laundromat was clean but just not using all there connections to increase there revenue do to the lack of important signage.

Do not recommend. Complete rip off. Over the last few months this has happened.
Went in, saw an empty drink that was same in machine laying around so I tried to buy a drink. Took my money.
BF went to play pac man. Took his money.
Went back another time and there was a credit on pac man so he added to it. Took his money.
Various dryers that didn’t work and we moved before putting more than one quarter in.
Last night-we used 6 dryers. We put an extra quarter in #47 by accident so it should have 7 more minutes on it yet it ran out of time before #49 and was only half way dry after 1.25 with lightweight clothes. Our towels and denim and heavy’s dried in half the time of this dryer.
Little by little they get extra dollars for free from us.

Stopped through to catch up on laundry while we were traveling. They had an attendant, which was nice. The machines could use the soap dispenser areas cleaned out a little more often as they were pretty gunky. But overall, it was decently kept, and machines worked well.

Don't allow these folks to ruin your good clothes.  Only used them once and they ruined a Robert Graham Limited Edition shirt that I got to wear once.  I asked them up front if they knew how to clean silk, as this specific shirt was silk and they said it wouldn't be a problem.  not only did they ruin the silk, one of the buttons was broken.  Please avoid.

Took in a man’s vest, right hand zip, to replace zipper. They charged me $35, new vest is $70. Got vest back and a seam was pulling out before it was ever worn. They also put in a left hand zipper. Took it back they said they would fix the stitch but would only fix the zipper for another $35. I was told zippers are universal. A google search says mens zippers are right hand zip, womens left hand zip. Quaility of workmanship is poor and customer satisfaction does not matter to them. I will not take anything back to this business

Please reconsider doing business with The City Cleaners in Mount Pleasant. I dropped my clothes off in great condition only to pick them up damaged. A total of 7 pairs of jeans and 7 shirts were damaged. I have done business with Mc Collum's Cleaners since they started and never had an issue with them damaging my clothes, but I take my clothes to The City Cleaners one time and the first time they damaged my clothes beyond repair. The owners will not own up to their mistake and refuse to replace the damaged clothes. If that many pieces of clothing were damaged at the time of drop-off, then it should have been noted prior to cleaning and pressing. Also, I feel that they should have contacted me prior to cleaning and pressing the clothes to verify that I wanted damaged clothes cleaned and pressed beforehand.

Stansells is under new management.  If your clothing came from somewhere other than the dollar store , beware! They are we terrible at recognizing quality material as not thread-bare. My lucky Texas Longhorn shirt is missing. White shirts are yellowed. Unfortunately, as of now, they are the only game in town.

They charged me $ 104 dollars for 5 pair of jeans and 11 shirts , absolutely insane, every time I have to carry back part of my order because they didn’t do anything but press my shirts and I get xxheavy starch on everything every time and they have been told this 100 times , they do great on jeans but suck on shirts and pricing . Definitely recommend not using this place . Their customer service is terrible also

It was convenient, quiet, and easy to get done quickly. There was plenty of detergents, dryer sheets, etc. available to purchase. Plenty of washers as well as dryers. Commercial sized allows to run double loads. No issues.

Going down fast. I don't care what anyone else reviews for this laundry mat are,, this is how it is, really. The largest machines at the westside wall are roilet tables wether your clothes get cleaned, but who really expects to get 6-7 loads of dirty laundry clean in one machine, one cycle at once... Not I .. now the mid size machines and smallest are the best bet for getting your clothes clean. I personally like the ones that are mid size because of my laundry load...hehe.... Bathroom really needs better care but also the 24 hr aspect of it is what it is.... there that is....  Over all, considering numerous things involved, it's not totally a laundry mat that will or will not get your clothes clean. HA! 😆
