South Boston - Centerville Laundry Land Laundromat

The machines are not clean. Nasty crud where you put your soap. Someone needs to do a through cleaning of these disgusting dirty machines.

This is the worst laundromat I have ever been to. More than half of the washers are broken including all the large washer they claim to have upgraded to. The place smells of mildew and 1/3 of the dryers are broken as well. We will never return here and it seems it needs to be "newly remodeled" once more because they failed the first time.

Dryers don't dry.  worst closer rushing you out and see your clothes still drying.

Small and clean with new machine, However they don’t have a lot of washing machines.
6 front load -
3 larger ($4.75/load), 3 regular ($3/load), plus 2 extra larger that are out of order.
In the back there are 4 older top load machines that’s $2.75/load.
They do have quite a lot dryer tho, it’s 5min/qt. Maybe you can handwash at home and bring it here to dry...

This is the 2nd laundromat I've been too in this area and I'm so glad for this one. It has a bathroom! They have card machines so you don't have to worry about cash and quarters! They have mega load washers! I'm happy that I have somewhere to do laundry now. The other place I hated so much I just saved my laundry to take to relatives out of town lol

Overpriced. And the best dryers are the one that are coin operated without card use. 25 min on high =$1.0 is enough to dry a full load. They need a broom so customers can sweep up after themselves.

I have been using laundry land in Riverdale for many years. I love coming because it's clean. The man who cleans laundry land is very good! Usually when he is there he normally says you have time to put your clothes in by 8:15. Only on occasion would I even come that late. Today I came by 8:09 and when I approached the door,a lady cleaning, says I'm closing at 9:00. According to the other gentleman who cleans,your last load can be in by 8:15 and they stay until your load/loads are dry. Irritated, I didn't say a word I turned around and got back in the car. When I got back out the car to look at the time schedule she opens the door and says you can wash but your clothes may  not have time to completely dry. Now what kind of crazy mess is that... First time ever, smh.

Very clean and nice! Also very expensive. The dryers do not get hot enough. About 2$ to dry a load. Single load wash is 3$.

What a joke. I dropped off 4 shirts to be dry cleaned. I asked them for starch. I was told it would take one week. A week later and they couldn't find my shirts. Another week later and still no shirts. Four days after that they finally had my shirts but lost one. I was told it should show up, try stopping by in 2 weeks. I was shocked to see that the shirts were not even ironed. Looks like they just steamed them and that's it. Now I have to iron shirts that I paid to get done. Will never go back after they resolve my missing shirt issue.

The sign series three for two. Then they charge full price,stateing that is only for dry cleaning. I said that is what I get. But they said you got two pants and a shirt. Never again even if I have to drive further

Wish I had of read the comments before going. The washer I used was $4.50. I selected HEAVY Soil which was an extra .25. And the machine barely even wet my clothes. Waste of my money and detergent. I called the number listed multiple times and no answer. This is bad for business. I guess someone will have to slip in fall in all the water on the floor and SUE to get some help. I wouldn't be surprised if the water on the FLOOR is the water that's supposed to be in my washer.

Worst laundromat I've ever been in. Change machine gives wrong change. One washer didn't even run water  in the tub.  No phone number posted to advise management.

This laundromat is trapped in the 80s! Quarters only, no ATM, but they do have a change machine.  If you don't have much cash on you, that will be a problem here, as there are no card readers. On the plus side, they do have a few high-capacity washing machines! Still, this place feels sketchy enough that I wouldn't want to be here after dark, which is odd because it's not in a bad area.  It just feels like it when you're in there.

This laundry facility has the most extra large, high capacity, front loading washing machines in the area, which makes it the best place to launder comforters, quilts, and other oversized items. It is often very busy and sometimes the floor isn't the cleanest but... the owner/manager is very friendly and the location is super convenient.

My wife went to use this laundromat after dropping my children off at school.  When she pulled into the parking lot she realized she forgot her change at home.  She pulled into a parking spot to call me (her husband) on the phone to see if i could bring her the change before I left for work.  I had already left for work so she had to go back home and get the change.  Upon explaing this over the phone the owner of this establishment came out to tell my wife she was not allowed to make a u turn in his parking lot.  Mind you I'm on the phone with her the whole time and can clearly hear the owner.  She tried to explain that she was using her cellphone to call me.  The owner of this establishment then told my wife she needed to stop being so rude to people that people die out here (me and her both took that as a threat) .  Again I can clearly hear this over the phone. Me and my wife will no longer use this establishment and encourage others to do the same for this and other reasons.

The owner clearly has issues.

Also maybe the town of South Boston should look into the safety of this establishment since it's located right across the street from the high school

Worst laundry facility. Half of the machines that say they work and don't, then your clothes are trapped until it's "done". Trying to get an actual persons help on the weekends is not possible. And my refund won't be processed for weeks??

Half the washers have no hot water, other half doesnt spin the water out of your clothes. Maintainnce is never there if your need them. Dryers are hot tho.

Clean facility.  I have rarely seen an out of service machine there.  Very convenient!

I’m grateful that they’re there, as I haven’t gotten my washer and dryer installed yet.
I do wish there were more of the larger washing machines, as those are the ones that I prefer, along with everyone else, apparently.
Would be nice if the machines accepted debit cards, but then there’d be the need to cover the processing fees.
Either way, I am grateful they are there.

This is the worst laundry place I've ever been to. The prices are insanely high. There's no restroom. There's no card machine. The washers don't get your clothes clean. I did a few loads just to get home and see that there was crusty undies and muddy britches. If you want clean clothes for an affordable price, then keep it rolling to the next coin laundry.

So impressed with the cleanliness of this laundry mat.  The caretaker was their while I was washing my comforters and he cleaned the building from top to bottom.  It was so nice to see someone taking such pride in his work.  Thanks again for making my visit such a pleasant one!

Fantastic. Hardly anyone there on Sundays. Washers get clothes good and clean, dyers dry real good (which, honestly, is hard to find at laundrymats) and Bill changer works. 💃
