Whale of a Wash

They got a new owner now the washers are really small now and much more expensive one of the workers there got smart with us for “over filling the wash” but it was only a basket of clothes and this was in one of the bigger washers as well . The worker continued to stand over us making it a very uncomfortable environment we spent almost 40 dollars on 2 baskets of clothes. Another customer came in and literally used 5 machines to wash and then another 5 to dry 2 baskets of clothes that’s ridiculous you shouldn’t need to do that . Never coming here again worst laundromat ever!

Nice laundromat. Nice location. Used them for years. Clean for being dirty. The driers are a bit too hot. Lately every time I drive 10 miles to get there. They are closed because someone gets a thrill out of roasting pillows.... or something.

I used these machines for 4 months straight, once a week.. 50% have out of order signs on them, one day I walked into a flooded floor, one day my clothes basket was stolen, most of the time the dryers melts something of mine, and the last time I went, black stuff was all over everything I owned! I had to spot treat and rewash everything twice.. and lost $40 dollars in the process and was not offered reimbursement

Well a month or so ago the dryer completely melted my kids school clothes  and they tried to say it's cause there was a toy in it. Which was a lie cause I always shake my clothes first. When i said something about it the next time I got cussed cause I said something and she told me I could leave. Go back today and she says I'm not aloud there cause my attitude is to bad and I complain. Thought that's what ur supposed to do when something is wrong at an establishment?? Guess not,,

It's the only laundromat in town so that probably affects it somewhat. 8 out of 10 for cleanliness but I do go in at the very end of the day. Wish they were open longer but the doors lock and lights go down to one light at 9:30.

I use this laundromat in the summer while Im camping. I can tell you I will not be back. It smells like cat piss so bad. I dont know why anyone would want to wash clothes in there. I will not be back.

The household sized machines I used today worked good, but the two midsize big ones barely had any water and didn't get my lightweight clothes clean so I didn't dry them. The largest machine worked fine. The small dryers on the right hand side of the room do not dry your clothes. Plus the top of the one laundry cart with a place to hang clothes cut my head I should probably go get a tetanus shot. Whatever plastic caps that should be on both sides are gone 🙄

I loved coming here because there are few customers and you can do what you need to without having to interact with others but honestly I understand why they all left and I can't keep coming here. The last working dryer has given up the ghost. 8 out of the 9 dryers that used to work are out of order and as long as I've been coming here I know from experience they will NOT be fixed. The small dryers on the other side of the room are a waste of money because they do not dry well at all.
So it looks like this is goodbye for me too. I hear there is a new place in town so I am going to have to go to them. I hope the owners see this and to you I say, put this iconic place that used to be worth coming to out of its misery and close the doors. Obviously you don't care to invest in it's future and the community it served. Such a sad day.

DO NOT WASH HERE!!! Never coming here again! Came in and the coin machine was out of service so I had to load my clothes back up and drive to the store just to get change. Then after washing the clothes, there was only one dryer available as 4 are out of order. Whoever owns this business does not care about business because they are certainly loosing mine!

Wonderful place to do your laundry. A business with a caring staff and affordable prices. It has the old school machines that still gets the job done. Offers personal cleaning of your own laundry, if you desire so. Definitely, consider getting your laundry taken care of here.

The washers stink of mildew & doesn't have very much room inside. Some washers only fill halfway with water. There are more broken/out of order machines than there are working ones. It's a dreary, dismal dungeon-looking place that overcharges for washers that half wash.

Filthy, prices on the wall are not the actual prices, owners don't care - I know because I messaged the number listed. They could NOT have cared less. The change machine has apparently been broken for quite a while, but again, the owners don't care. We will never be back.

Our dryer broke, so I've been coming here for a couple of weeks to use this facility. It's close to where I live. This laundry mat is not the cleanest place. It's always dirty, dusty, and the trash is always overflowing. I have never used this laundry mat without my quarters getting stuck in a machine, then moving all my clothes to another one and wasting my detergent and losing the quarters that got stuck. Soon I will get a new dryer, but others may not have that luxury. Some people depend on this place. Clean it up, stock toilet paper, empty trash cans, get machines that take quarters properly. It shouldn't be that hard to maintain a laundry mat

Our dryer is broken so we took our clothes up to this laundromat to try out.  it was the cleanest one i've been too and didn't stink. Trash bins were empty and machines worked and the dryers didn't melt my clothes like others i've been too. good location as well.

Was a clean, neat laundry mat. Now it's went down hill, the floors look horrible and the garbage isn't being emptied. Looks like nobody is cleaning up it's a shame because it's the only laundry mat.

Dirty all the way around , from the washers themselves to where you put detergent/ softener in, floors, tables. Just everything  !! Absolutely disgusting.  No restrooms,  no laundry carts. I believe my clothes were cleaner before I washed them at this dump. Had to take more than half of my clothing to my Mother's to rewash  ! DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOLE !!!

Machine had error and locked my items in washer. Phone number on wall was a retrieval message number. Lost my items because I was unable to contact anyone or leave message. Items cost 250.00 all because the machine needed maintenance. I don’t recommend anyone use this facility.

The dirtiest place I have been too! There is stuff all on the floors, washing machine have peoples clothes on top of them that they left. The washing machines on top and in front look dirty. The coin machine hardly ever works right or at all. Half the dryers don't work or you have to force quarters into them to get the dryer to accept the quarter and add the dry time on the screen. The metal tables look like no one has washed them down in a long while. The place was just disgusting. I did call the number on the wall. I left a voicemail but doubt anyone will call me back.

I had an issue with one of the machines that took 10.00 of my money. There is no price listed on the machine and I kept loading quarters into the machine. I finally stopped.  Someone that was doing their laundry at the time said it took her money and wouldn't recommend using it. I called the number listed on the wall and left a voicemail. Nobody has returned my call. I would not recommend this facility and will drive the distance to a better well maintained laundry mat.

I record going to Corner Laundry on Feb. 8, 2022. I chose to come by in the evening to do a wash and dry. They are open 24 hours. After the washer for locked, I recorded the clothes took about 35 minutes to finish a complete wash. The washer took 18 quarters ($4.50) for a triple load wash. After the cycle I came back and transferred all my clothes to one dryer. I had 9 qtrs. left at the time, which bought me 45 min. to dry (I calculate this to be 25c per 5 min to dry). I returned to Corner Laundry 3 days later for more business.
