The place is sparkling clean. I’ve been a customer here for about nine years and I drive back-and-forth from Plainville because they take care of me. They clean my laundry and fold it super nice. People are nice and service has always been great, And now it’s even better with the electronic text for service complete notifications, and that is clutch for me. It was good before, but now it’s a slam dunk.  Good equipment. I own a washer and dryer but I’m never home and the price is extremely reasonable. 🫡🇺🇸🙏🏼👍🏼

A wonderful business! They washed and folded a huge order for me for my elderly mother while I cleaned up her apartment. Now they are doing pick up/drop off for her. They are reasonably priced, easy to work with, and very conscientious! I haven’t used the machines myself but the inside of the facility looks very clean and comfortable.

Needed to hem a few pants. Sue's cleaners did a excellent job, came out exactly as I wanted! Very professional.

Dropped off clothes on Monday afternoon and they said it would be ready by Wednesday afternoon. Got a text from them on Tuesday and clothes were ready for pickup. Great service and nice helpful staff!

Trusting someone to get your wedding dress cleaned properly is a big ask! Unfortunately after paying the $250 my dress is still quite dirty on the bottom which was really the only thing I needed cleaned. It’s a chiffon fabric that was scrubbed but was unable to get out the dirt. I was told the best thing to do would be to cut it off where it’s dirty and hem it again. I just wish I knew that it would not have been cleaned and I would not have wasted the money.

I urgently needed suits dry cleaned for an interview after a holiday weekend. Susan accepted the order even though she had very little time to complete the order. Unfortunately I had a family emergency and could not reach the store during working hours to pick up the dry cleaning. Susan came after hours to the store on a holiday weekend so I could pick up the suits for the interview. Very frustrating experience. We put our laundry in the dryer and decided to wait in our car. Thankfully, my husband was watching and noticed that the dryer door opened on its own after a few minutes. If we had left and come back later, our clothes would have been completely wet and we would have wasted our money. This is a serious issue—dryers should not open by themselves. The only reason we caught it was because we stayed nearby and watched. Not reliable at all.

This has been one of the best dry cleaning establishments I’ve ever come across. They did an amazing job on my suit and clothes ! My suit looked sharp, smelled fresh, and was ready right on time. It looked like a new suit. You can tell they genuinely care about the quality of their work and their customers. They really pay attention to detail and are happy to help. Such great people.  I even had an event coming up and was on a tight deadline, but they still came through for me. Highly recommend this place if you want great service and great results. They’ve definitely earned a loyal customer because I’ll be coming back every time. My suit looked great in the photos !

When the new owners took over this location I was skeptical at first, as the previous owner had set the bar high on great service. It has been pleasant to see how vested the new owners are in not only providing the same high level of customer service, but also making improvements and modernizing the facility. Dropped off a jacket, pants, and a button down for a rush job 4 pm pick up. It's 4:43, and I'm waiting in the parking lot for the employee to go pick up my clothes from their warehouse. He told me he would be back in 5 mins. It's been 30. It's completely unacceptable. First and last time coming here.

Hi so I got here at 927. It was pouring and I don't have a car. Lady made me stand outside waiting for another uber soaking my bag of clothes and me.place is open til 11 it's a Saturday. It takes 35 minutes for a wash I don't even dry here. No reason she had to make me stand out there while other ppl were inside staring at me. I go here all the time and about to not thats absolutely ridiculous.. laundrymax down street is$ 7.30 for a 60lb wash. Much cheaper. And they have free ones too sometimes. And they have free dryers. Also open til 130 am and won't turn u down. Workers here are nice and respectful. That short Spanish lady at freewaylaundry is rude and doesn't have an ounce of decency in her

This place is always clean , they take good care of the machines compared to other landromats. I’ve moved from the area & I tried other places but I did not like the overall experience.  So I’d rather drive to this laundromat!!

This is truly one of the nicest laundromats around! It's generally clean and spacious, with plenty of washers and dryers. The space inside the dryers is generous, and I find the service really convenient. I mostly drop off my laundry here, and I also do some washing myself, I’ve always had a smooth experience with their drop-off service. They usually get everything done within 24 hours, which is fantastic!

I drop off every week or every other week for the last 3 years. The ladies there are so nice. It’s so satisfying to open the laundry bags and smell clean clothes, perfectly folded. They even separate my clothes, my husband’s and my daughter’s. We’ve accidentally left credit card and cash in some pants and they put them in envelopes and place them with the clean clothes. I highly recommend this laundromat for drop off. The best in town

I regularly do my laundry here until today.  While waiting for my laundry to dry, I sat on the massage chair apparently you have to pay to sit there according to a rude employee. It’s petty but com on now do people really pay for that 1980  massage chair ?  Unless you like getting an attitude from the unfriendly staff I won’t be bringing my business back here again.

Worst Laundry experience I have ever had. “No exaggeration.”

The washing machines were not clean. (See pictures attached) all the machines were in this condition.

5/6 drying machines were not drying. I wasted 50 minutes of my time + money waiting for my clothes and at the end the clothes were still wet. I had to pay again for the only drying machine working. Could not get my money back because there is no staff.

I've been coming here for almost 2 years, and it's progressively gotten worse. Over 1/3 of the washers and dryers are always broken at all times. The clothing carts barely roll. Employees leave by 4, so don't drop clothes off unless you don't work a normal schedule. Oh, and it's over 80 degrees out and humid and they have the air off so enjoy that.

Extremely low standards at this laundry mat. Been coming here since 2018 and was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. It has since declined and for the past year especially they seem to not care. Over 40% of the machines in some shape or form are not working. Doesn’t have a coin machine since you can only get some items through coins. Always dirty, homeless sleeping here. Owner/manager seems more interested in the women that show up then fixing the machines. As well as raising prices (all well in good) but if the money doesnt go to fixing machines its just a waste. Don’t go here. I have lost almost $75 this year on his broken machines. Go else where!!!!

I have been coming to this laundromat for a few years now. When I started coming here it was clean, efficient, close & convenient and the cheapest in town.
But within the last year, the same dynamic hasn’t been there.

First and foremost, THEY LET HOMELESS PEOPLE SLEEP INSIDE!

I’m a young single woman. I’m suppose to feel safe going to do my laundry in this facility right in town, while homeless people  sleep  inside?
How do I know these people are harmless. I don’t have anything against the homeless but it’s not exactly comforting.
Makes it very unsettling to do your laundry.

Now upon going there, it’s a battle of am I going to get a working washer? A working dryer?
I have lost A LOT of money in these machines.
Washers either don’t wash or don’t spin. And you’re stuck with a heaping wet load of un-spun laundry.
Then when you go to dry your clothes half of the dryers heating elements do not work so your clothes have spun around for half an hour in just regular cold air…

Other times I have had clothes missing and I’ve came home with other peoples items.
All within a matter of half an hour??
And yes, machines were checked before and after each use.

Now in order to experience all this fun, it’s pricy.
The owner has upped the prices of all machines, yet nothing works. So the machines are pretty much stealing your money.
Unless you go between the hours of whenever the owner feels like showing up to whenever he wants to leave, then you lose out on your money.

Let’s don’t forget how dirty and grimy the place is…

But don’t worry, the BitCoin machine, the massage chair and the claw machines all work!
They have all these machines yet no machine to break change for you.. seeings how that’s the only way you can put money on the laundromat card.. which also cost money..

Unfortunately I have to write this here because there’s no contact information for this establishment. Good luck calling the phone number and actually talking to someone.

If I can give a zero star, I would. I came here at 5am when they opened and there was no one there to break my cash into smaller bills because their laundry card couldn’t accept big bills. I knocked on the employees only door to see if anyone can help me, but no answer. There was trash everywhere; it just looked a complete disaster there. The owner Sandeep and his wife do an amazing job with this business. Prices are very reasonable and my shirts are done within a few days. They have also made small fixes; sewing and buttons when needed. Their family bought the business just before the pandemic, and of course the dry clean business has been altered since! I would highly recommend this family owned business whenever you need dry cleaning, shirts pressed or small alterations done. They always greet you with a smile!

Brought in a suit and an alpaca sweater and they both look great!! The owner was so kind and even dropped off the clothes to my home for free. He did not accept a tip and said his customers are family. What a wonderful experience!

This is a small family owned & operated business. They are so kind and extremely professional. There has been a few instances where I’ve needed uniforms cleaned and pressed in a time crunch and they were able to do it for me no problem. I highly recommend choosing them for your dry cleaning/ alteration needs.

Have had 2 issues: double creases in my pants and a spot on a jacket that was not there when I dropped it off. Disappointed in the transition and the lack of visibility from the new owner. This particular Lapels Dry Cleaners location is great and I have no complaints. Whether you need your clothes dry cleaned, your drapes/curtains or rugs, cleaned, or your clothes washed, dried, and folded if you like. They do awesome tailoring too. It's my one-stop shop.

Absolutely fabulous service.  Very quick and actually had one item from a previous order that was missing a button when I took it out of the plastic and returned it to them to see if they had a "missing buttons box".  They not only found it and/or replaced it, didn't charge me for it.  WOW!  Thank you!  The blazer wouldn't have been wearable without this unique button so THANK YOU so much for the extra efforts on your part to find or replace it!

Used them for the first time this week and my overall experience was good. However, I picked up my dry cleaning yesterday and one of my shirts had a lot of black fuzz balls on the back.

I sent a dress to be cleaned. When I went to pick it up, the dress still had a stain and they still charged me for the service that was not done properly! Not professional, they are charging money and not getting the job done!

I've used Lapels twice now and I find it a well run, smooth operation. They basically "salvaged" my only sports coat removing gobs of old gum from inside a pocket from several years ago. Well done without ruining it.
