Brite Touch Cleaners (Telfair, Sugar Land)

If I could leave  a negative rating for this cleaner, it would be more accurate. I took my custom draperies to Fashion Park Cleaners in Katy be cleaned on May 7 and they are now completely unusable.

Turns out that Fashion Park cleaners on Westheimer in Katy is actually a Brite Touch establishment.

Brite Touch  contended they “ …carefully followed the care label instructions provided on the item during the cleaning process…”.  Only problem - there is no care label as this is a custom made product.

They next asserted “… due to the age and condition of the fabric, it appears the material may have weakened over time, which can result in damage during professional cleaning-even when proper methods are used….”   Until - that is - I produced  the actual fabric memo sample  that demonstrated the fabric to be in perfect condition with age neither discussed nor yet established.

They tried to assert that my once white, now
pink lining was because of sun damage. But these side panels are not exposed to the sun

Brite Touch failed to address why the drapery pleats look as if they  are “crimped”, the
fabric and lining are fused together or why the side returns are pressed so unevenly that there is over a 2” variance in the return.

We attempted to allow Brite Touch to fix the damage, but after 3 attempts, the resulting condition has rendered my custom
window treatments unusable. The pleats are ruined,  hem is fused and the fabric is warped; incapable of hanging properly.

We  requested a full refund of our cleaning fee - they have yet to refund our money. It necessitated filing a claim with my bank to reverse the payment

Our request for reimbursement for the
cost of the draperies has been countered with delays, subterfuge, double speak and outright and deliberate misstatement of even the ANSI guidelines  for dry cleaning issues.

The distortions are  enormous… …And ongoing for over  3 months.

This was my first time to use brake cleaners, and I was very satisfied. The location was very clean. The lady was very professional and friendly. I dropped off my dry cleaning on Saturday and it was ready for me on Monday. I will definitely be using them in the future

They did a good job however I was told a dress would be $16 and when I picked up my dresses they were $21 per dress.  I can purchase a dress at Gap and Old Navy for $21. They are not worth the price they charge. I won’t use them again.

Items came back with pulls in the fabric and mother-of-pearl buttons are chipped. They also place the tracking tags directly over the brand tag and not discreetly hidden. Not at all impressed with the quality of service for the price. If you are going to up-charge for service on designer items I expect them to be properly cared for during the cleaning processes. I will not be returning.

Continental Cleaners $2.50

BEWARE. Do not take white clothes here (probably issues on colored clothes too but just can't see it) . Its guaranteed to get worse and get damaged. Went here in 2024 and had to come back 3 times to show them the stains they added, each time I came back there were more stains and black marks. Their machines are dirty. It was a $200 white suit jacket. They got most of it out but not perfect and worse than what I brought it.

Came again in mid 2025, this time brought a cheaper white shirt ~40-50$. Again new stains and black marks all over and fabric damage.  Came back 2 times and on the 3rd time I just gave up...

DO NOT COME HERE unless you're clothes are little older and you're not worried about stains and damage

I brought my wedding outfit and unfortunately there was an issue/mistake. While it was really stressful, Norma went above and beyond to make it right and had amazing customer service. I truly appreciate her effort during such an important time for us. You can tell they truly care about their customers and amazing people!

Now called $1.95 Cleaners and is located in the First Colony Commons area. My boyfriend started coming here after he moved from Missouri City to Sugar Land. This Cleaners are located right near his new place so it's very convenient to him. He goes here at least once a week to drop stuff off.

The other day I went to pick up some of his items. All I had to do was show the ticket of what was given to claim his items since you have to pay beforehand. Cash only. He ended up getting three blazers cleaned up. When I gave the lady in the front the ticket, she then grabbed the items right away after finding it on the turner. The process of picking up was quick and easy. She then placed the items on the hanger so I could look at them before actually leaving and I saw no issues.

They are the least expensive in Sugar Land, which is great (some cleaners charge thrice as much). However, if you give them clothes with stains or stubborn dirt, they don't get cleaned 100%. Unfortunately, all cleaners contribute to lot of plastic pollution since the cleaned clothes are wrapped in a large plastic bag. I asked them if I could give the wrapper back to them (so that it could be re-used), they took it, which is great.

I started bringing my clothes here after things began to open back up in 2021. My usual cleaners and all around me in the Rosenberg area had doubled and tripled their prices!

So, started looking online for dry cleaners farther out from me and came across Continental Cleaners, who advertised $1.95 a garment and provided same day service.

That's what brought me here to begin with, but on the first visit the friendliness and warmth of the owners is what brought me back! Since then I have had incidents where I needed something cleaned in a hurry or I was delayed getting there right at closing, etc. Any problem I've had they have done all they could to be accommodating. THAT'S what brings customers here and keeps them coming... Customer Service!

They've recently increased their price to $2.50. I'm sure it was out of necessity. Let's hope they can hold this price point for a good while. Every other dry cleaners keeps going UP!

This is the worst laundry service on the planet. We took a Hermès T-shirt there for a standard wash. We had already paid, but when we went to pick it up, we found the T-shirt was completely ruined. There were large dirt stains on both the front and back. The blue marks were utterly indelible. The owner told us it was okay, to give him another chance, and he would fix it. We trusted him and gave him a second shot, but when we came back for the shirt, it was even worse. He had put a lot of white powder on it, which did not cover the blue marks but instead made the stains larger. We were very dissatisfied. He said it was okay, to go home and find the receipt, and he would pay for the T-shirt. When we found the receipt and returned, he then said he never told us he would pay for the T-shirt. He claimed the shirt was ruined entirely because the Hermès company produced defective clothing and told us to return it to the Hermès store. I've never heard such an absurd reason. He said he washed it exactly according to the garment's washing instructions, so he made no mistake, and there is nothing he can do. He told us to just take the shirt and stop harassing him, saying if we wanted to go to small claims court, he could explain to the judge that it wasn't his fault. He told us he wouldn't be responsible for anything. We think the owner has been lying all along; initially, he told us he would help us resolve the issue, then said he couldn't fix it but would pay, and by the third time, he outright denied it, insisting we just take the shirt. We didn't take the shirt because we didn't trust him, fearing he would claim we added the dirt after taking it home, so the shirt has remained at their store. I hope our neighbors are cautious and never take their clothes there for washing. When I went to the store the second time to communicate, he told me the shirt was completely OK, and coincidentally, there was a customer next to me. I asked that lady if she thought this was OK, and she said definitely not, they did exactly the same thing to her clothes, but they promised her compensation, giving her all the credit for free laundry, yet in our case, the owner said he would not compensate us at all. I am extremely disappointed, I never expected any business owner to act so ugly, and the owner was very rude and continually lying.

Continuing, I received your response today. I hope we can have a conversation in an honest manner.

As a small business owner, I expect a minimum standard of honesty and transparency when you deal with customers. It was clear that the garments we provided to you were free of any dirt or stains and only required regular cleaning. However, after your cleaning service, we found two large blue stains on the back and dye stains on the front, indicating a mishandling on your part. You acknowledged the mistake and requested another chance to rectify it, which we granted in good faith. Unfortunately, your second attempt only made the stains worse. When you realized you could not restore the garment to its original condition, you promised to reimburse us for the T-shirt. Yet, when we returned with the receipt, you outright denied ever agreeing to compensate for the garment, and unjustly blamed the quality of the Hermes fabric. You suggested we take our grievance to the Hermes store for a refund or exchange, an utterly preposterous suggestion. This garment has been successfully cleaned at other laundries without any issues. It was solely your service that ruined it. To be honest, the loss of a single garment is not a significant issue for us; we possess many others. However, your attitude towards customers is intolerable. We want all customers to be aware of this. While a lack of professionalism is one thing, lying and deceiving customers is absolutely unacceptable. We are now looking forward to the intervention of a third party to ensure you are held accountable for your mistakes and provide the necessary compensation.

I recently changed my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. The staff is very nice but they make no effort to clean any stains and also give wrong recommendations.  This isn't a cheap cleaners - 5 pieces will cost you easy over 22.00 - 25.00.
