Bob's Washboard Laundromat

The nicest laundromat I have ever been in. Clean, helpful staff, all the things! The lady working there let me borrow washing detergent because I forgot mine. Then, she was walking around offering customers bottles of water! Highly recommend!!😊

Best laundromat I’ve ever been to. Clean, fair prices, and the people who own it are awesome and I like that they support their community with food and clothes donations. I’ve met some other nice Oak Ridge locals here and will keep coming back to support this local gem.

I've been to a hand full of different laundromats and Bob's is hands down the best I've ever been to! The location is clean, well lit, and they have a nice selection of vending machine products. They also have a coffee machine for if you need a caffeine kick :) Tonya and Erica are the floor staff who are friendly and always available/willing to help. If you don't want to do your own laundry, they do offer wash and fold services which the dream team will have ready for you next day. Don't hesitate to come on in and have a different laundromat experience!

Bob’s new location is great. It’s clean, well lit, and lots of machines. The only downside are the users that leave their dryer sheets in the floor and other places. Be courteous and pickup after yourself. Also, need to make sure the change machine has quarters on Sunday nights. Suggestions would be to go away from the quarters all together and use dollar bills. You can’t have a business dependant on quarters and not have any in the change machine. Another suggestion is to have a bar across the little cubbies that have the folding tables so that you can hang your clothes after you get them from the dryer. (EDIT: this has been done since i originally posted. Thanks Bob). I would highly suggest doing your laundry at Bob’s.

Absolutely the best laundromat I’ve been to. Very clean, attendant on site during business hours, great operating machines that do not smell of mold or other best unmentionable things. Very very happy customer!!!
