Indy's Westside Cleaners

I really hate leaving bad reviews, but I feel it’s important to share our experience to help other customers avoid the same situation. We took my husband’s brand new wedding shirt to Indy’s Cleaners to get pressed before our big day. When a family member picked it up, we discovered an orange stain on the collar and two in the front that were not there when we dropped it off. This was on a Saturday evening, and since they are closed on Sundays, we had no chance to resolve the issue before our wedding the next day. When we reached out, the staff showed no empathy and simply said it was our responsibility to check the garment before leaving the shop. We had sent a family member who is under 18, so naturally, she didn’t know what to look for. Besides, you wouldn’t expect stains to appear on a brand-new shirt after getting it pressed! We love supporting local businesses, but we should have trusted the many negative reviews this place already had. We had to scramble across town at the last minute to find a replacement shirt the night before our wedding, which added unnecessary stress and cost us an extra $100. Extremely disappointed with this experience—if you value your clothes and peace of mind, I would think twice before trusting this place.

I can no longer recommend Indy's after being quoted a price and the price being changed when I was charged twice now. I complained and the owner was supposed to call me back. she never called me back so the icing on the cake was that the job that they did was terrible. they said they were charging extra because my blouses had to be hand ironed. well they were still quite wrinkled so for $7 a shirt I'll just do it myself

I'm very upset. We brought a suit to be worn at our daughter's wedding to be cleaned and pressed. Through the bag at the store it seemed fine. When we opened the bag it was wrinkled and creased terribly as though it had not be pressed, at all. I find it hard to believe you would allow a suit for someone's child's wedding to leave your facility in that condition. You charged $13 for that We will now be bringing our suit to a different company to be properly pressed. What a shame, we wanted to support our local cleaner and got the short end of 5he stick on this. The only positive is how pleasant the lady at the counter was when I picked it up.

Good service, pleasant people, good work. Prices are reasonable. Recommended.
