Continental Cleaners

Pros: I walked in and was immediately greeted. The jackets and dress I turned in were dry cleaned quickly and the result was good. To note: The price was a little steep ($20/jacket). Overall score: A+

You didn't give any type of compensation to the customers that you inconvenienced on Saturday and lied about it never happened. Please don't patronize this place. The brother and sister owners don't care about customers and we won't be inconvenienced again. You deserve a minus zero for your service and I dont care attitude.

This is a shame. I've been going to this location several times a year for years..like 5 years, since I moved to Longwood. They've been generally good, lost a couple pairs of pants over the years but I dry clean like 10 pairs at a time and no dry cleaner is much better...sadly. Today I ran into their manager Ester. She wanted to charge me $35 to clean a large comforter...which is not a bad price, except the sign right behind the register says "Small comforter $16, Large comforter $25"(see picture) I was bringing in a Queen sized comforter. Not only was there no good explanation for this, but she became almost instantly combative saying "that's the price" meaning $35 and pushed the comforter back at me as I pointed to the sign that said $25. After that there was nothing productive that could be said. Just like that, a good relationship ruined. I will not be going back. Continental Cleaners can do better than Ester as a manager.

I have been a loyal customer to this dry cleaners for years. Always found a friendly face when walking in and talking to the couple behind it. Things have happened in the past, but they were so minor that it wasn't a problem, but this past Saturday made me feel unappreciated. I brought my tux in so I could get ready for a black tie affair on Saturday. This was an important event to me, and I wanted to look my best. I was told that it would be ready after 4 pm. I sent my Mom to grab it due to me running late, and no one was there. After several calls and talking to 2 people, we were told it would take an hour and a half before someone would show up. It's not good when I have to be somewhere during that time frame. My mom described a scene where dozens of people drove up and were furious because no one was there, and they needed their clothes. In the end, I had to figure out plan b and get to my destination. So you would think that due to the inconvenience they created , at least an apology or something would happen.. Nope! See, I understand things happen, and people mess up but disregard your customers after a major F+×÷kup like this is bad. So yeah, you're gambling when you take your clothes here, and I'm done. I'm only one person, but I'd rather spend my money with people who will be open when they say they are. As you can see on the receipt, it says open til 6pm.

I've been going to this location for over 10 years. Everything was great until 2 months again when the price for the dress shirts went from $2.99 each to $4.50. When I questioned why the price went up was told that was the price, no other explanation. I pointed out that the sign for the business states $2.99. Sign at road, on the building and their company vans all say $2.99. Told manager that it was false advertising and they need to change their signs. Well 2 months later and still shows $2.99. Would not recommend this cleaner to anyone.
