Altoona Laundromat & Wash And Fold(under new ownership, renovations coming)

The laundry mat was HOT! Needs new air ventilation system so the air has incoming and outgoing flow. Ac would be nice but not recommended.

Not only is it completely dirty and disgusting here, the washer just dump water behind it causing the floor to become soaking wet. I tried calling the number listed on the change machine to let someone know about this but no one answered.

Terrible service. I visited this laundromat in hopes to just get two simple small loads down. Washing service was completely fine. I go to put my clothes in dryer 1 (which has no sign that it’s not functional). 55 minutes in total. I come back and my clothes are damper than a new baby. I tell the clerk and she says “oh I had no idea that one wasn’t working too”. Seeing as how 7 of the 12 dryers available say “out of order”. This is sad to say the least about establishments. I can tell a front when I see one. Sad business practices here.

This is not going to be very nice unfortunately my experience was not very good. I did not know and "nor was it posted" that the doors lock automatically at closing. As I was waiting for my ride, I stepped outside for a moment, and the doors locked with everything I had still inside. It would probably be a good idea to have a working phone number available for someone who who knows maybe leaves a child in the side of the place or something or maybe their personal items with maybe their medicine in it or something. Sorry but I'm pissed

The laundry looks kind of good but when you enter you realize many things: 1. Washing machines are very expensive and very small inside. I could wash in 2 large and 1 small but due to how small they are I had to use 3 small and one large. 6 for a big washer and looks like a medium one. That’s insane! 2. There is no customer service staff, no one helps you, if you have a question you have to figure it out or ask a customer because there is no one. 3. ALL MY WHITE CLOTHES got stained in the dryer, do you know why? Because they are full of rust! It's almost not noticeable but I immediately saw the stains. I checked and yes, the dryers left yellow rust stains on my clothes and I couldn't complain since there is no customer service! 2 white clothes washers and the 2 stained ones IT'S NOT FAIR! It's in a good place but IT'S HORRIBLE! They must change all the machines and improve the service.
