Clean Slate Laundromat

Very clean. Very nice nice machines. They do a nice job. Pay app is great. I only gave them a 4 because there was a sign on the rest room door that you had to see the attendant for the key but there was no attendant. It is not customer friendly to have no rest room access when people are there for at least 2 hours. Please have a way to have restroom access or be sure an attendant is there . I realize you don't want anybody but customers using the rest room but figure something out. Thank you

UPDATED for August 5, 2024 Used the DexterPay laundry app from my iPhone, forgot to get quarters over the weekend. The app is SUPER easy to use and takes you step-by-step through the entire process. It will take a $25 charge from your method of payment to cover washer and dryer usage, then refunds the difference after 24hrs (or so). HIGHLY RECOMMEND the app! Machines are $3 for the regular-size washers, $4.50, $6 (holds about four loads of laundry), $9, and $12 for the really BIG ones. Laundromat is extremely large, extremely well kept, clean, and well organized with lots of machines and dryers. Air conditioned, with snack machines Highly recommended.

I’ve been using this laundromat weekly for the past 3+ years, I spend anywhere from $10-$12 and there are others who spend more. Every time I’ve been in here the restroom is closed/locked. I understand there is a lot of riff raff that hangs out, bumming money and just loitering, but for the paying customer who needs to take a leak during wash/dry/folding this is very annoying

The middle of the clothes did not get clean even in a washer that was not full. The dryers are only five minutes instead of the seven I am used to. The drink and snack machines were empty. By far the worst thing for me was that the restroom was out of service. For a business that you have to stay in for hours, I find this completely unacceptable.

I had a mountain of laundry to do… a good portion of it bedding and rugs. I was looking for a good laundromat to go to and came across Clean Slate in Clarksburg WV. I DM’d the owner and got information. They were prompt and courteous. I cannot say how impressed I was. It was clean and had so many options. From 8X load capacity down to 2X. They also have larger dryers. I live an hour and a half away and will always make this journey when I need a laundromat. They also have an app “Dexter Pay” that makes it so convenient. No worries about cash and change. The app also lets you know when your washer and dryer have completed their cycles. Excellent business and well managed.
