Really bad experience. I sent my jacket for cleaning, and when I received it back, it was still wet, and the right sleeve was damaged. I sent it back, and the gentleman I spoke to was very polite and apologetic. He assured me they would repair the damaged area in Birmingham, rewash the jacket, and make sure this never happened again. He also mentioned that he hadn’t personally inspected it before it was marked as ready for collection, because he wouldn’t have allowed it to be ready in that condition. However, when I picked up my jacket after they texted me, I noticed the same issues remained. While they had fixed the damaged area, the jacket was still wet, and the cotton inside wasn’t evenly distributed, leaving some areas empty. It also had visible marks, making it look even worse. I contacted them again, sent pictures of the issues, but received no response. Avoid sending your clothes here—you’ll likely end up disappointed.

After having five shirts cleaned here the previous week with no issues, I thought this was a reliable place. This time, I brought in six brand-new T-shirts, each worth £50, which I had only worn once. Four of them were in immaculate condition—very white and like new. When I returned to pick them up, I was horrified to find large, bright yellow stains on the collars—stains that were definitely not there when I brought them in. Instead of taking responsibility, the attendant claimed the stains were from my own use of perfume and had been there all along. His dismissive attitude made it clear he had no interest in understanding my frustration. I’m extremely particular about my belongings and take care of everything I own. I’ve kept T-shirts looking new for five years because I invest in and look after my items. To see my new shirts damaged like this, and then to be spoken to as though my concerns didn’t matter, was incredibly upsetting. I’m not asking for a refund; it’s clear that won’t happen. I’m writing this to warn others: if you value your clothing, think twice before leaving it here. I’m really really saddened by this issue and I’ll probably just throw these clothes away. I’ve added at least one photo, I don’t even know if it’s clear enough.

I have been using Cabbage White for some time now for their wash and iron 'hung shirt' service, and occasional dry cleaning. They have done a very good job each time with a fast turnaround and competitive pricing.

The collections and deliveries are so punctual and very convenient, easy to organise and with easy payment too. I have always been pleased with the results. In particular after Christmas I sent in velvet cushions with lots of red wine stains and they came back as good as new!
