Laula's Tailoring & Alteration

My experience with Laula's Tailor and Dry Cleaning was extremely disappointing, and a significant mistake has ruined a brand new garment intended for court. I brought in a new blazer, a new blouse, and a new pair of pants for tailoring and dry cleaning, totaling $93. The new pants only needed their pockets sewn up to prevent flaring, for which I paid $2. The tailoring on all three pieces was absolutely perfect – truly excellent work, and it was completed by the promised due date of Saturday, June 28th at 4 PM. However, upon arrival to pick up my order, I was informed that my brand new blouse was missing due to a "stain" and was being held for extended removal. This is not just a stain; this is clear heat damage/a burn mark on a 100% polyester shirt. This burn mark forces an unflattering crease below my chest, which is not suitable for court. This shirt was pristine when I dropped it off, aside from minor wrinkles. To receive a brand new garment back with irreversible heat damage, especially after paying for professional dry cleaning, is completely unacceptable. When I asked what could be done about this damaged shirt, I was told that their external dry cleaner is on holidays and they wouldn't be able to discuss it for another 15 days. Given that a brand new item was ruined under their care, I am requesting a full refund of their dry cleaning services. The tailor shouldn't be taking the hit of the dry cleaners mistake. While the tailoring was excellent, the significant and permanent damage to a brand new item due to a clear dry cleaning error is a major failure, shadowing over the tailor's excellent work. I hope this business decides to use a different, more professional external dry cleaning service to prevent similar damage to customers' garments in the future.

Laula's provides fair, fast and above all quality service. I have had pants hemmed, suits tailored and repairs done with Laula's and I have never been disappointed. I have even brought in patches to be sewn on. The prices are fair and the service excellent. No hesitation giving my five star rating. I also get my dry cleaning dne here and it has been excellent as well.

I have had many garments dry cleaned and tailored at Laula's - from formal dresses, to suits to casual clothing. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. They do a great job and offer great value. Good quality services at a fair price.

Needed a tailor after we moved to the area. Took in a suit jacket for tailoring and she did a great job and I only had to wait 2 weeks. Will definitely return for alterations in the future. Only reason I put 4 stars is the jacket wasn’t ironed after the work was completed so I had to do that as it was all wrinkled.

Definitely recommend tailoring from these ladies! I have gone here for tailoring on quite a few dresses! Got a typical bridesmaid dress taken in, seam evened and leg slit fixed. Had a short summer dress taken in. And a Nigerian bridesmaid dress taken out. All the work has been very high quality and affordable.
