I hate writing bad reviews, but the experience that I’ve had with Green Earth Cleaners has been terrible. On my first occasion, I asked them if they were able to dry clean my Armani Leather Jacket. They said yes. Apparently they didn’t read the care instructions and when I received it, the left zipper was damaged and I had several cuff marks on the jacket. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided that the rest of my wardrobe should be safe, despite the fact that this was a brand new work jacket that goes for $1000.

Two days ago, I had my Armani zip up dress dry cleaned for the fourth time. When I received it, I saw that the belt loop had been damaged. Not only did they not disclose this, but they tried to hide it when giving back my wardrobe. I saw it while inspecting and asked if I could talk with the owner since this was the second time that I’ve had a damaged item. The following day, she calls me, extremely upset and screaming “You are the only customer that this has happened too” and “Oh I guess you are too good for us” and “I doubt that your wardrobe is that expensive”, etc none of it leading to a productive solution. Just straight condescending attitude on her part. She blamed the quality on my dress, but another employee of hers said that it got caught on the machine. Also, there are 120 of us with the same dress on my work team, none of them have had this issue except for me.

She offered a “full” refund after all the screaming, but really, I only received a partial refund of $44 for the entire cleaning. For a $700 dress. And a $1000 jacket that got damaged. She also had an employee try to repair the loop, but it doesn’t even look close to how it looked before (with threads hanging out regardless and with a completely different material). I will now have to pay money out of my own pocket to repair the damage.

Been to many others and my clothes weren’t cleaned or pressed properly. Mother Kims gets it very clean and pressed exactly the way you like it. Best cleaners I have been to.

Great place for a local dry cleaners in the area. Only problem is their hours are just the worst! Opens at 7am some days and 9am the other days and then close early AF. Most people dont get off work until 5pm or after, and trying to get off work, race through traffic (especially through Mitchell Hammocks traffic), and get there before they close is nerve racking and a hassle jus to pick up your clothes clothes. Also dropping them off is a hassle as most people have to be at work by the time they open (especially on their 9am days). So you cant win. Its not convenient for the average person schedule. So they are open only during the time people are at work, which is not ideal. If you do manage to get your clothes in, its just fine otherwise. They do a good job and have never had an issue with my clothes. They can be a little pricey, but who isnt these days unfortunately. If they change accommodate their hours a little more they would be damn near perfect.
