My coat was completely ruined. They don’t do dry cleaning in house and send their items off to big processing plants. It’s clear that no care was taken with my coat at all.

Edit: I’m raising this to 3 stars. The coat was able to be revived to a good degree and I appreciate what they did. Still, the initial shock of this leaves me in a neutral state.

I have a bad experience with this store.
There are double lines on my ironed pants after I received them back. Isn’t the first rule of ironing clothes not having double lines?
I understand that if you have double lines, it’s not easy to make them disappear completely at once. Since I got double lines from their pressing, I asked whether they can improve it by making the second line lighter so that it is not as obvious and outwards, but I was told that their employee (who worked for 40 years) can’t fix it after trying a few times. I am very disappointed. Wish I didn’t come to this store.

Stop going to this facility, I have been using them for few months. Today when I was picking up my items, I have noticed they have destroyed my one items with spots. To make the matter worst - owner keep blaming it on me and insisting I have bright item that way. Keep in mind he has already charged me and I was on my way out until I wanted to know the pricing on that item. He raised his hand and acted like I’m his child. This is not Asia and you can raise your hand. I called cops on the owner and reported his behavior. Fortunately for his he didn’t have cameras in his store.
I am warning everyone not to use this business, they have just lost a client and I will make sure to file a BBB complaint as well.

Pretty good alterations service, and reasonably priced.

This business is wonderful. I do not have a need to come often, but when I do, I always feel very well taken care of. Yes, as others have said, they are on the high end with prices. However, their work is impeccable. They stitched a blazer for me, and it was done with so much care and skill, the price was well worth it.
Also, this place is 100% non toxic dry cleaner. That is not common. More work and money goes into that process. Be mindful of that the next time you complain about the price.
To the guy complaining about his kilt; you could have just called the place and explained what you needed, instead of writing a bad review. Not everyone knows what a kilt is, let alone how to properly press one. That was your responsibility to either tell them, or assure they knew to press your kilt.
I have been coming here for years, every piece of clothing has been perfect, skillfully done, and giving back timely.

Disappointed. Went to them with an unusual item due to the good reviews. They did fine with the normal things - jackets & slacks - but the kilt & fly plaid have to be redone. For the $60 or so it cost, I expected them to spend a minute or two just lining up the stitched pleats before pressing. Instead I got it back with a multiple bad creases & pressed-in wrinkles. It wouldn't have taken much care to do it right.

Incredibly nice people whom offer excellent service. My wedding dress's hem was soaked in dirt and mud and they were able to get all of it out! It looks brand new. It's lace so I thought it might be too difficult but it wasn't apparently. I'm happy. Plus the guy helped me carry it out to me car :o

They couldn't clean my suede bag and it took them almost 8 WEEKS to figure that out and return my bag to me. I called them weekly, and most of the time nobody could tell me what's going on or where my bag even was. I was going to take this bag on my birthday trip with me - didn't happen because I couldn't take it back for 8 weeks. It is still dirty, the same way it was when I left it with them. I have been going to Eureka for around a year now for alterations (hemming, etc) and cleaning that I can’t manage myself. They are always quick, very reasonably priced, and nice! Most recently I had a keepsake jacket dry cleaned that had been badly stained bright pink in some areas, including the white collar. They said it might be a challenge to get it out, but when I picked it up today all the stains were gone! Very disappointing experience. We gave this place multiple chances (three times), but each visit has been dishonest and frustrating.

The first time, I dropped off my clothes and specifically pointed out all the stains. The staff marked them and assured me they would handle it. When I went to pick them up, the stains were still there. They then told me stain removal is a different process and not included with dry cleaning. I asked why this wasn’t mentioned when I dropped them off, especially since I clearly showed each stain. Instead, I was told I had only asked for “dry cleaning,” which was simply not true.

On our most recent visit, my husband also pointed out stains on several shirts when dropping them off. But when I went to pick them up, I was suddenly told there would be an extra charge for stain removal. When I asked why this wasn’t communicated earlier, the response was that it had been handled by the owner and I’d need to come back on Tuesday.

We had an event coming up, so timing was critical. The issue has never been the extra charge, it’s the lack of transparency, shifting explanations, and poor communication. After three attempts, it’s clear this business is not honest or reliable.

Had my 35+ year old wedding dress cleaned there recently.  It had many stains front and back and was kinda stiff from not being in a bag all these years.  Just got it back and it was good as new!  So impressed with their work.

The best way I could describe Iris Cleaners: they treat each customer as if their life depends on making the customer happy. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. If you need your dry cleaning done by a certain time, they initiate that offer and have always been able to fulfill it for me. They fixed a torn sleeve on my shirt for no extra charge. Honestly, every time I walk out of the cleaners, I feel as if I was undercharged considering the level of great service I received. I highly recommend this business to everyone and have always had a positive experience.

I rather be dead than communicate with Eureka Cleaners.😵 They do not communicate price increases clearly. Something I was told would cost $30 ended up costing $50 and I was not told about that until I came for my item.  In other orders, he makes promises in email after email (messages quoted below) about how he would let me know the cost of an item but never did.

I left a coat with Eureka Dry Cleaners in November 2023 with the owner Jay. He said that his wife would fix it. In addition,  that the cost would be $30. When I came to pick it up in the evening another man was there and I was charged $50. I asked why there was a higher price. He said that the coat was dry-cleaned. I said no it wasn't. It was just fixed. He also argued with me about the material of the coat before he corrected himself. I told the owner what this other man said and the owner said that there was an extra labor cost hence the price increase. I said in the future can you please contact me about the price increase..he said he would.

But he didn't.
I left two items on March 15th.

April 30th-I emailed at 10:04 am, 6:43 pm and I texted at 7:38 pm asking if he had a cost estimate for one of the items I left on March 15th. He told me at 10:04 am that he would get back to me later with the cost but never did.

April 16th- He let me know that his wife  fixed the coat but he would not confirm the price/cost estimate.

I said for a month I have been waiting to get a cost estimate and to even know if one of the coats was fixable.

Now you surprise me by saying the coat was fixed but at what price?

He still would not give me a price estimate.

April 15th-I emailed asking,
"Do you have an update about the black coat? It is now 20 days since March 26th-when I last heard from you."

March 26th-Jay emailed,
"She will check the black coat tomorrow and let you know. Thank you."

He never checked back with me tomorrow.

March 23- He said, Good morning.
I will let you know on Monday morning."

He never let me know Monday morning.

I came into the store today and the first thing the owner said was, "Lita, you are finally here!"
And I said, "What are you talking about? You almost never answer emails!"

After I brought up these emails the owner's wife asks me, "If I called in the last few days." I said why are you bringing up calls?? That has nothing to do with your husband saying he will get back to me via email but never doing that. And also not being upfront about costs.
And for the record I didn't call in the last few days.

I told her I was going to leave a negative review and she said, "Well, we will leave a negative review too!"

She went on to say, "We have many other customers."

But she was not the only weird employee at this place.

The owner's name is Jay. One time someone named Josh answered the phone, and I said, "I spoke to Jay, the owner about it." Josh said, " Who is Jay?"😱😱

When, I came to get the coat which I was charged $50 instead of originally promised $30, there was an older man. He started telling me that the the coat was not the GENUINE material I was claiming it was.☹
Then after inspection he told me that the material was INDEED THE GENUINE MATERIAL I SAID IT WAS.🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

This stupid man was also telling me that the reason why I was paying a higher price was because the coat was dry cleaned:(

So,I asked the owner if the item as dry cleaned. He said, " No there was no dry cleaning. Just more labor costs."

I later emailed him asking if it would be possible to either safety pin the description of the materials of the item (if they don't already update information about customer's items in a computer), as well as note any increases to costs, so that all employees have the same information.

His response was, "I never lied to a customer!"

Very, combative, petty people.

I brought my wedding dress here after my wedding in April for cleaning and preservation. Owner said it would take 3 weeks. I went back to pick it up, was told the that because the dress was a silk material he didn’t want to clean it. Said he would bring the dress back in an hour. I went back the next day dress wasn’t there. Gave my number to the woman at the desk, said please have the owner call me so I could speak to him about just doing a spot cleaning one ONE stain on the front of the dress. No call after a week. I went back in to just get the dress and take it somewhere else. Dress still isn’t there. I’m told the owner will bring it in an hour. I go back today(they’ve now had my dress for 2 months at this point). They get the owner on the phone again and he then tells me well he never got a waiver signed by me. I said I have been in here 4 times now and not a single person has said anything about a waiver, not even you the last time I talked to you. I went on to say the last time I spoke to you, you said you were going to be bringing my dress to the store and it’s still not here. He then starts yelling at me over the phone for several minutes not letting me get in a word edge wise. When he gets done I say that I would just like my dress to be brought to the store and I will take it somewhere else to be cleaned. I then get yelled at some more and at the end of it he says it will be there in an hour.

I dropped in on a Saturday with a pair of pants that needed cleaned and a tear repaired. As this was the first time I needed something dry cleaned, I misjudged the time necessary to get the job done - they initially told me the pants would be ready by Thursday, but I needed them by Wednesday. Nevertheless, they were willing to work with my schedule, and I was able to pick up my clean and mended pants Tuesday afternoon.

Excellent service, quality work, and I will definitely use them for all my future dry-cleaning needs!

Very disappointed by the approach and results: out of 6 items - 2 were with spots. After dry-cleaning all spots remained on their original places. For example: I specially mentioned the wine spot on one of my shirts, when was giving clothes to them - afterward they said all is cleaned. But I checked it out - spot was still there. Do not get me wrong - it is the 21st century and there are a plethora of different chemicals. But what disappoints even more - "it is impossible to clean any coffee or wine spot" . Really? So, why did you take it to begin with....?
