When I dropped off two articles for dry cleaning nothing was said about “cash only” when paying.  I returned a week later to pick up my garments, attempted to pay cash and was told cash was not accepted.  U. S. currency has this printed on it:  “This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private.”  This was my first, and last experience with Powell Cleaners.  I changed this from a one-star to a two-star review because of the business’s prompt and polite response to this review.

Really good experience. My cleaning was ready in 3 days at a great price, effortless pickup. If I weren’t moving out of Powell, I’d be using them consistently.

Sewed some patches on my son's Taekwondo uniform. Work was done well in a reasonable amount of time. Service was friendly. No wonder the Taekwondo school referred us to them!

They use a third party to clean their leather. My boots were brand new, had only been worn a couple of times, just had a few water stains on them that I wanted removed. But when I picked my boots back up, they were ruined. It looks like they used a grill brush or some other wire brush to literally scrub my boots. Totally unnecessary and the absolute wrong way to clean these boots. Completely destroyed them. I left my boots there, told them they could just throw them away, that I no longer want them after what they did to them. I paid $60 to have them cleaned, I should've just bought another pair. I advised Powell Cleaners NOT to continue to use the third party company to clean their leather, Sunshine Cleaners in Kentucky clearly doesn't know what they're doing.

First time customer. Brought in my Duluth pants that were the best pants I owned since I got some house paint stains on it. Foolishly I had tried washing and drying the pants at home but ended up burning the paint into the pants. Liberty cleaners got the latex paint stains out, and ironed my clothes. They looked better than when I bought them at the store. It was a great price also. Highly recommend.

Ruined a pair of designer jeans. Jessica the owner or whatever she wants to claim that the pants were ruined before I brought them to her. After showing picture proof she claimed to have video evidence. She could never provide the footage to me showing her side. Then when I arrived to discuss the issue in person she called my significant other names. Really a joke. And she asked how I was better than her. I told her she cleaned my clothes for a living and left it at that. Enough said.

Very responsive and quick while providing excellent  service. I will go no where else for my dry cleaning or alterations. They are the best in Powell!!

I originally came here because I couldn’t find a dry cleaner that pressed the crease properly in pants. Not only are my items perfect every time, the over the top customer service of this business is second to none. Can’t recommend them more!

The best service out there and I’m not talking dry cleaning! I mean of any retail business I’ve dealt with. I don’t know if Jade owns this place but she sure treats customers like she does. She and the rest of the team are amazing. A couple of times we forgot items in pockets including a credit card and they texted us to tell us and returned them well kept. I love these guys!
