Oakwood is THE only place to go if you need quality cleaning and/or restoration. They are experts who have a great reputation. They literally will handle your garments with gloves. Excellent customer service as well.

If I could give Oakwood Cleaners 100 out of 5 stars, I would. Oakwood Cleaners took on a HUGE project of both restoring and tailoring my vintage 61-year-old, 3rd generation wedding dress and turned it into the most beautiful heirloom dress I could have ever asked for. This dress was made in 1961 for my grandmother's wedding day. Then her daughter, my mother, wore it again in 1989 for her wedding. Since my grandmother's wedding 61 years ago, the dress was never once properly preserved or stored. It was in poor shape, to say the least. When I started planning my wedding in 2021, I really didn't entertain the idea of using my mom's wedding dress as my own because I knew it wasn't in good shape and that it was quite old. But after reading some of Oakwood Cleaner's reviews on vintage wedding dress restorations, I decided to take the dress in, and have it looked over - and I am so glad I did. From the second I walked in Oakwood Cleaner's doors, I was treated with nothing but the utmost professionalism and sincerity. They treated my vintage dress with love and reverence, as if it was their own mother's. Their team was extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with the dress, the fabric, and the structure which allowed them to manipulate and restore it to its previous beauty. Oakwood Cleaners even had an in-house seamstress, Birdy, that was able to take on my dress as another project. Since she was knowledgeable about the restoration process and how to deal with vintage fabrics, she provided expert advice and skill in fixing the structure of the dress and tailoring it to my body. This allowed me to have my vintage dress restored, tailored, and pressed all in the same building by the same experts. I cannot say enough how thankful I am for the team at Oakwood Cleaner's. They made it possible for me to wear the same dress on my wedding day that my mother wore on her wedding day and her mother before that wore on her wedding day. This meant more to me than I can possibly explain in this review. Not long after my daughter announced she was getting married, I once again discovered my grandmother's 120 year old wedding dress tucked away in a trunk just as I had found it so many years ago. After 30 years, I had forgotten I had it!  I didn't expect my daughter to wear it as her wedding dress, but we both thought it would be wonderful if she could wear it for a photo. I asked around about where to get it cleaned and my most knowledgeable friend immediately said Oakwood Cleaners!  I thought it could NEVER look this good.  I took the skirt in as I thought that was the only part that was salvageable but later added the top just to see what could be done. Rhonda was excited about the dress as I was but she was cautious because it was so fragile and stained. Obviously, as you can see, Rhonda's son Aubrey worked a miracle cleaning both pieces to where it almost looks brand new and just in time for the wedding....we have not made photos yet of my daughter wearing it (the reason why this review is so late!!) but I brought it out for the wedding and the photographer took a few photos with my daughter! My daughter was delighted to have her Great Grandmother's dress to display during her backyard wedding in October!  The top of the dress had to be restored (re-stitched by hand) in many places, but to have it looking so beautiful through the delicate, green, cleaning process used by Oakwood and Aubrey made it worth the time and money.  Many, many thanks again to Oakwood...to have this dress looking this beautiful is a real gift to all Nettie Kate's grandchildren, great grandchildren and all the generations to come.

Even with all the technology that streamlines the process and minimizes human interaction, I was glad to meet and work with Brandy, who helped me resolve a minor issue. She’s incredibly personable, and her friendly, helpful approach is a big part of why I keep coming back!

I gave a 4 because I had an item that I needed to clean a spot after I got the item back.  You may need to notify of a spot needing to be removed?

I have been going here since 2016 and I can say Larry is one of the hardest working business owners in the neighborhood. During COVID there were periods where Larry came in and was doing much of the work himself. They are also very friendly when you come in, on top of being very organized and precise on when they will have your clothes ready. There is a reason this dry cleaners was one of the few that survived from the COVID period, plus it should be noted they are environmentally friendly.

They were efficient, clean, organized, and timely. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

After a slight hiccup with some garments Heritage Cleaners sent a driver to retrieve our garments, fixed, and returned them two days later good as new. Thanks Tim and team for doing such a good job!

First time going to this cleaner and I'm very disappointed. Brought in 2 new ties to be pressed and they stained one and damaged the silk in two places on another. I had 10 brand new shirts laundered and pressed. 3 were poorly pressed with ironed in creases on the front of the shirts and issues with the sleeves. 1 light grey shirt has obvious blue stains on the sleeves and blue dye seeping out of the cuffs. Cotton chinos I had pressed you can tell the iron or press was too hot as there are multiple light /shiny spots. Most everything was also covered in lint and dust.

I had a coat dry cleaned and altered here. The first time, it was shotily done, but the owner reached out to resolve and fix the issue with the coat and was able to turn our bad experience into a positive one.
