The cleaning is always perfection — but the alterations…WOW! 👏 I believe the owners are a husband-and-wife team, and whoever handles the alterations does a phenomenal job. My clothes always fit flawlessly. I’ve had every type of material—denim, leather, suede, you name it altered here, and they never fail to impress me. If you use Pride Cleaners, be prepared to:

1) Have your garments returned to you several shades lighter than when you brought them in, not to mention the fabric ruined.
2)Be asked to produce picture proof that your garments were the color that you say they were.
3) Receive an apology when you produce requested proof.
4) Be Offered a $100 store credit to make up for the discolored, ruined garment. (lol, as if you would ever trust them with another piece of your clothing.)
5) Be later told that this credit was not offered because they believed that they ruined your garment, but because you “demanded” it. (Sure, Jan.)
6) Be accused of doctoring photos of your garment.
7) Be accused of lying about the value of the garment, while…
8) Being lied to at the same time about having found the exact same garment (in this case a 10 year old coat) on the designer’s website. (I think we all are clear as to why this is a bold-faced lie.)

If that’s the kind of experience you’d like from your cleaner, go for it.  If not, you might want to try another business.  Honestly, you can't make this up. I wish I could leave negative stars.

Decent costumer service, who keep the place clean.
Issue I have is the change in prices. The prices go up at what I believe to be peak hours; this is terrible for me being a working woman. I will not come to wash at late or before 7am due to safety concerns (homelessness, high crime area)
There is a reward system, for example if you spend $100 you are rewarded a $5 credit; that can be helpful yet not really with the increase in matching rates.

Another issue I find and other repeated customers may agree is that laundry cart issue. You can not use the laundry carts to bring your clean clothes to your vehicle. Which is a struggle and pain to get your clothes into the laundromat and back to your care. They don’t have their costumers in mind. After using this laundromat for 3 to 4 years, I’ve decided to find a location that fits my needs.
This place initially met my needs yet what I presume is the homeless and ignorant people have caused the good to suffer with the bad. I understand yet still must no longer use this place since it is my earned money I am spending, I expect better.

Love that it's 24 hours. The guy working was super friendly and willing to help out a first timer. You can use card and they have a good selection of detergent if you're out. Lots of machines available that can handle large loads. I did a large laundry bag with $6 on washer and $2 on dryer.

Clearly advertising “ we’ll restart for free” I asked if it could be restarted cause my clothes ain’t dry and I always told they don’t restart! False advertisement. That’s a law suite waiting to happening for the right person.

Hello so I read your response and I can assure you the man working on June 30th at 11:38pm did not reach out and call you guys not ONCE nor did you send any emails and I know because I watched him the entire rest of my night up until I left the laundromat. Not once did he try and say let me call or send any damn emails. Just kept looking crazy because I started to read your “free second start POLICY”. You guys also stated you checked your cameras. I didnt even state what time I was there up until my response. you guys presumed what ever time because you stated there was TWO calls in your log book. What time was those calls for? Plus please tell me what I had on! the card that I used to wash my clothes wasn’t mine it was my mother’s so I know you didn’t check “Nikey” for my account or name. So can I get proof of all of this so called checking that you guys did! Or can I just get my damn free dry! I had to pay more to put money on the card for a whole restart. I only needed like 10 more minutes but I had to pay a whole 5 dollars after already paying like 23 and some change. The man was clearing out the lent traps. I asked him did it have to be the same dryer for him to restart and he told me no and with no care in the world just moving and cleaning so I moved the blanket to a smaller one and my dryer wasn’t filled passed the “line”. Clearly he didn’t want to stop what he was doing but that’s also part of his job and clearly you guys don’t want a law suite because you also stated you sent a free dry coupon to my email that also was never sent to me! You said all this on my review!

I use this place often for my kids band uniform and have had zero issues. This weekend I left the band uniform, her white suit, and my Mrs Claus dress.  I picked them up today to find that the white fur on my dress is now pink! I have events the next 2 weekends with Santa! I was in shock. All he said was "nothing i can do about that,  sorry." As he walked away,  leaving me at the counter in tears.  I get the garments home to find additional damages to my dress.  It appears something was sprayed on it and there's pieces of the red fabric actually MISSING.  I dont know what to do at this point. Highly disappointed at his lack of concern and poor customer service.

I should have listened to that voice in my head that said don’t have your dress dry cleaned at TP Tailor Dry Cleaner, near Cascade and Fulton Industrial. My regular dry cleaners was closed.

I am glad that I thoroughly enjoyed my silver sequin dress on NYE, because the dry cleaner ruined the dress. To make matters worse, the owner tried to convince me that I brought in a black dress with very few, sporadically placed silver sequins. When I requested compensation for him ruining my dress, he said that normally he doesn’t give compensation and that next time he won’t. Of course, I let him know there won’t be a next time.

I’ve been frequenting M Street Cleaners for about 9 years, and I’ve heard good and bad reviews. In the recent years I can honestly say it has changed for the WORSE! It’s the sad truth. Ms. Young the only lady that works there has a huge sign in the window that says “same day alterations” and when I ask her for same day alterations, she says “we no do ah same day alterations anymore because of Covid” I don’t know how that makes sense. I went to go pickup my items and one of my pants alterations she forgot to due and blamed it on her famous nonexistent “brother” that’s never around, and told me to comeback the next day, and refuses to compensate me for the inconvenience. That was the first mess up I had with M Street Cleaners.

Saturday 10/4/25 I got to drop off two pairs of pants, and a hoodie, everything needs to be dry cleaned, and one pair of pants needs to stitch up for a hole in the pocket. I tell Ms. Young I’m going out of town this week, when will it be ready.
Ms.Young says “it will be ready for pickup on Monday after 5pm” which my ticket shows. Today is Monday 10/6/25, I go to pickup my clothes and I’m missing a pair of pants, the one that needs to be stitched…Ms. Young  who’s has multiple sewing machines around the cleaners says “I send to my brother after stitching, comeback tomorrow”, I reminded her that I was going out of town and that she put on my ticket pickup for Monday after 5pm…she says “I no perfect, I make mistakes” and neglects the fact that the customer has a schedule and life, totally inconveniencing to the customer. She also refuses to refund or compensate a customer and looks at a customer with blank face like she just arrived here. The said part is she makes you pay up front so she has my money and offers bad services.

I had to walk out with 2 out of 3 of my items. I never thought I’d be writing a review about M Street Cleaners because I use to walk there when I live at M Street Lofts and love it!

However it is no longer the same service, she blames everything on her brother who no one has ever seen, I asked for his information/business she couldn’t provide it. So I don’t even know if he’s a real person.

Please think twice before taking your clothes there.

Wrong time, they are not same day service and does not do dry cleaning.   Everything on Google is wrong.     It’s dirty and old and no one in there.  Nothing is clean.  Beware!!

I have had a few jackets altered here! The owner was very communicative of what she could and couldn't do with my jackets. She delivered the results on time and with good quality.  She was very nice and courteous! Can't recommend this place more.

M- Street Cleaners is very professional and the turnaround time is excellent. I would recommend getting something in 2-3 days prior to when you need it out therefore there’s no crunch. Very good on alterations and I haven’t gone anywhere else since!

She was friendly when I first stopped in early morning to drop my uniforms off. Later on that day I came back with the ticket she gave me and she didn’t recognize me and thought she lost my uniforms. She finally found them after fifteen minutes. When I got home I realized she damaged my uniforms! Too expensive for 0 customer service and damaging items. I will never go back and I suggest you be skeptical about doing business here.

I dropped off a cardigan that is 100% baby alpaca from Peru. I JUST got it.
I am about to board a flight to Europe and I dropped this cardigan off a few days ago, and picked it up yesterday. I just put it on to wear on the flight and it has shrunk about 6 inches on the arms and bottom. This was $300!!!!!! The worst part is I have tried calling multiple times and their number is invalid. I cannot describe to you how angry I am. In a normal world I would never spend that on a sweater but I wanted something unique and something that I’ll have forever. So angry

Great alterations…I had a jacket that was too big. I took it them and I was pleased with the work and the price! I recommend them often for alterations!

Paid to have some jeans hemmed. I gave exact measurements but the cut was significantly off so I asked them to redo it. They refused and wanted to charge full price to have them rehemmed, despite it being their mistake. Unfortunately the dry cleaning is overpriced too, so there really aren't any redeeming qualities at this place. Consider somewhere that treats their longtime customers better
