I called Burke Cleaners today and spoke with Shyana to ask if they do alterations on military uniforms. She confirmed that they do, which was a huge relief. I explained that I needed a patch sewn onto my AGSU uniform and that I had a very short turnaround time due to my own procrastination. I completely understood if they wouldn’t be able to accommodate such a tight timeline.

Shyana told me that if I could get there quickly, she would check with John to see if he was willing to take on the alteration. When I arrived, I initially requested to have my uniform back in two days. To my surprise, Shyana told me it would  take about 30 minutes.

Y’all—John completed the alteration on the spot, and I had my uniform back in 10 minutes! Outstanding customer service and truly above and beyond.

The whole staff is so welcoming and friendly. I can’t recommend Burke Cleaners enough.

I had brought in 1 jacket it needed a new zipper,the other was a child's winter coat that needed a seam fixed. They were completed in a timely manner and were cleaned as well. Good work. I will return again. Thanks!

Burkes Cleaners has been my business of choice since 1991.
They took care of my salon and tanning bed towels for years when I started in my career.
Recently I had an issue with flooding up from clogged basement drains that I thought was water from our leaking water heater and humidifier hose from the furnace. My discovery of this situation was late. Ugghhh
I'd say 25 plus loads for me to do this myself but it was worth EVERY penny and I'd say a savings of $2000 plus if I had to throw it all away. Rugs comforters clothes etc even dry folded clothes that had to be rewashed dried and folded
They as always came to my rescue and went above and beyond for me.
I truly can't say enough about their kindness, friendliness professionalism and hard work efforts.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!  Pat at the West 4th street location went above and beyond for my daughter’s wedding dress and my brother n law who flew in from out of town!!  They pressed my daughter’s dress and help me load in the rain no less to prevent it from getting wet!  My brother n law went to the Bettendorf location and Pat once again said she would drive it down herself to the 4th street location so her could have the next day!!  10 star service!!  Will have my business for a life time!

I have been in the area seven weeks. I use the service twice a week. Slacks and Button down shirts. The reliability of the service has allowed me to not have to carry more clothing and larger suitcases back and forth.

All clothes were done timely and professionally. Customer Services ladies are pleasant and professional. No waiting quick and easy transaction. Reliability is so important. And they communicate by taking the guessing out of the equation

Very clean! 3 sizes of washers, change machines (not to mention you can also use your card on most machines instead of coins), very clean bathroom with door code, plenty of parking (and easy to get into with an RV) and I happened to hit this place when their dryers are free for the month. Winning! As someone who passing through town, it’s nice to find a place like this. I’ll definitely be back when my next adventures take me through town. Thank you for such a positive laundry experience!

All machines work they have a change machine. Also the washers and dryers take card. The place is clean so overall a good place. 👏🏾

Very bad  place this older lady with salt and pepper hair was very rude she  swore at my two year old son for  hitting the game machine. And he's just a baby     he wasn't playing it he was standing. By it and was.  rude to a few customers the time I was there all any recommendations on any other laundry Matt's with more friendly people there. Smh

Nice clean laundromat and its priced decent. But even with the stained glass on the machines, I can see minimal water and and barely any suds flowing. I know I didn't stuff the washer and used plenty of detergent and my clothes aren't free-falling in the machine. They are in a wet cluster against the walls of the washer. That doesn't equate to clean or washed to me. I'm used to seeing water flowing and pressure from the water actually cleaning the clothes. I wanted to like this laundromat, but it looks like I'll have to venture out further. I watched the entire cycle.

The neighborhood isn't great, but I feel very comfortable bringing my laundry here. It's really clean and organized.  Everyone seems to mind their own business.  There are no issues for me.  I think this place is great!

Was just waiting for them to load my trailer as a truck diver needed to do my laundry and came across this laundromat. Very helpful person working, the place was very clean, great washers, & dryers. It definitely beats doing laundry at a truck stop. 🙌

I went to this laundromat today bc it was the closest one to me. It was my first time there. There was a laundry attendant who was there to help me with my questions.

Tons of sitting areas, folding tables, and carts.

The place only takes quarters (wish the machines took cards). It is a little outdated but is definitely kept clean.

Clean and friendly, and good price there is a change machine! Allie was helpful when I accidentally had one of the side loading machines leaking water  because there was a piece of clothing caught in the door. She was able to fix it and was very friendly 10/10 ! The dryers worked well at a medium heat setting , everything of all different thicknesses and fabrics were dry.

I come here every weekend to do my laundry and usually have no issues. It’s cozy, it’s quick, and we get our weekly laundry done!
However on 1/14/24, we came in around noon and discovered there was not an attendant. As of writing this, there is no employee in the building and has not been for at least an hour and a half. One of the washers was leaking water, and we didn’t have anything to help soak up the leaking water. Without an attendant here to help, I’m worried someone will slip and fall. I don’t understand how the employee can just take off and leave the place unattended. I couldn’t find any way to contact the owner, so I’m hoping they will see this and take it seriously.

We were traveling through Davenport while on vacation and needed to do some laundry.  This place was a few miles from the County park we were camped at, so we drove our coach over to check it out. It's in a strip mall, with plenty of parking, which worked well for us.  (There's even more parking available in back.)

The place is bright and clean, with about 40 washing machines and 20 dryers available. The woman running the place was busy doing laundry and cleaning the place, but came over to explain the different washer sizes that are available, how much laundry each could handle, and their pricing.  She also offered suggestions on how much laundry detergent we needed to use, based on the washers we selected and the amount of laundry we had to do.

Change machines that take $1, $5, $10, or $20 bills are available, as well as a vending machine with soap, softeners, and other laundry supplies.  The restrooms were also very clean.

Overall, a nice little operation!
