I called Burke Cleaners today and spoke with Shyana to ask if they do alterations on military uniforms. She confirmed that they do, which was a huge relief. I explained that I needed a patch sewn onto my AGSU uniform and that I had a very short turnaround time due to my own procrastination. I completely understood if they wouldn’t be able to accommodate such a tight timeline.

Shyana told me that if I could get there quickly, she would check with John to see if he was willing to take on the alteration. When I arrived, I initially requested to have my uniform back in two days. To my surprise, Shyana told me it would  take about 30 minutes.

Y’all—John completed the alteration on the spot, and I had my uniform back in 10 minutes! Outstanding customer service and truly above and beyond.

The whole staff is so welcoming and friendly. I can’t recommend Burke Cleaners enough.

I had brought in 1 jacket it needed a new zipper,the other was a child's winter coat that needed a seam fixed. They were completed in a timely manner and were cleaned as well. Good work. I will return again. Thanks!

Burkes Cleaners has been my business of choice since 1991.
They took care of my salon and tanning bed towels for years when I started in my career.
Recently I had an issue with flooding up from clogged basement drains that I thought was water from our leaking water heater and humidifier hose from the furnace. My discovery of this situation was late. Ugghhh
I'd say 25 plus loads for me to do this myself but it was worth EVERY penny and I'd say a savings of $2000 plus if I had to throw it all away. Rugs comforters clothes etc even dry folded clothes that had to be rewashed dried and folded
They as always came to my rescue and went above and beyond for me.
I truly can't say enough about their kindness, friendliness professionalism and hard work efforts.
A huge thank you of gratefulness to the entire staff at Burkes Cleaners from the of my heart. You truly make a difference!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!  Pat at the West 4th street location went above and beyond for my daughter’s wedding dress and my brother n law who flew in from out of town!!  They pressed my daughter’s dress and help me load in the rain no less to prevent it from getting wet!  My brother n law went to the Bettendorf location and Pat once again said she would drive it down herself to the 4th street location so her could have the next day!!  10 star service!!  Will have my business for a life time!

I have been in the area seven weeks. I use the service twice a week. Slacks and Button down shirts. The reliability of the service has allowed me to not have to carry more clothing and larger suitcases back and forth.

All clothes were done timely and professionally. Customer Services ladies are pleasant and professional. No waiting quick and easy transaction. Reliability is so important. And they communicate by taking the guessing out of the equation

I'm grateful this laundromat location is open! It's well taken care of all through the week, the people who work here are friendly and helpful always! Everything works and wash prices are low. Burke  Cleaners has nice air conditioning too :)

Nice clean facility. Good quality work on my clothes and coats.
Very nice staff. And speedy service! Prices are expected for this day and times.
Small note, Definitely talk and listen when they tell you about their comforter cleaning, for what they charge and on my lower end quality comforters was not worth it...Better to buy a new comforter my opinion for me and my budget.

Clean laundromat. Machines run well. Self service for loading your laundry card to use their machines. Usually accepts card or cash at the machine.

They are extremely fast, and the lady who runs the place is super nice. They even cleaned a suit twice for me once because the liner bled through (manufacturer issue) free of charge! Great business.

Every time I've used this it's been very clean and when I had a issue with a dryer last time they took care of it right away
