We took my son's uniform to discount cleaners they told us his uniform would be done the next day between 1-2. The next day I tried to call at 1pm to find out if it was ready no one answered. So I called at 2pm no one answered. No one had called my husband's phone as well even though they had him give them his number. I went around 2:30pm and they had a closed due to weather sign. My son had a big event he needed that uniform for and the uniform was mandatory. Luckily he was able to go to the big event but this dry cleaner almost cost him the event. I wouldn't have been as upset had they at the very least called me and told me to pick up early or that they could not get it done but they didn't. When I called the Monday after the weekend I talked to the lady and she told me they didn't get my husband's number which I called her out on her lie they made my husband give them his number. Then she told me she's not going to call all the people it's to many numbers to call. Way I see it if you promise people their clothing back the next day if you can't you at the least owe them the knowledge of it. I told the lady I want to talk to the owner or manager still have yet heard from them. I highly suggest going somewhere else then this drycleaners if you want people you can trust cause they aren't it. Thanks for almost ruining my son's event which was really important to him.

I have never had an issue taking my military work uniform to a cleaners and them NOT starching it in the last two years. Every place simply asks if I want heavy starch. This is the only place I’ve gone to that does not, but that isn’t the issue I have. My issue is that the employees don’t know their job and the owner or manager (don’t remember what she said) just argues with you, and it costed me money.

I asked for starch on my uniform and was given a receipt stating that. I come back to pick up and there is no starch whatsoever. Before I left I went back inside and the employee said he put it in the starch pile but he will redo it for me. Awesome thank you! When I return a second time he greets me to tell me they can’t starch it due to what the tag says and their equipment would melt it. Would have been nice to know before I paid for my uniform the first time because I would not have wasted time and money and could have used that money to get it done the right way the first time somewhere else. But still not my only issue.

As soon as I put the dry cleaned uniform on, my name tape, my rank, one of my trouser pockets, and part of my US Army tape are all peeling up from the stitching... I call to request a discount to get it restitched or my money back from the lack of communication the first time and the owner/manager (whoever) tells me no and chews me out about their “policies”. When I would try to tell the whole story about why I am a disappointed customer I get her telling me if I have to go into a story she doesn’t care.

How about you train your employees and don’t let them take money from people who are paying for a service and don’t get that service. I DIDN'T WANT MY UNIFORM JUST DRY CLEANED. I PAID WITH INTENTION OF IT BEING STARCHED. I would have NOT paid for the dry cleaning with your business and taken it somewhere else to do what I THE CUSTOMER WANTED. I also would have paid for the service I wanted and my uniform would still be intact and not ripped at EVERY seam!

Chiefs - Drive-Thru, Get Stuff, Go!

First and last time coming here. I took 2 fitted hats to be dry cleaned. Went to pick up. They forgot to clean them. No big deal. Came back in a couple more days. The hats were decently clean but they were both returned wet. They shrunk the hats, ruined their shape and made them floppy. They appeared to be washed instead of dry cleaned... But why??? $130 loss in hats plus the $10 I paid them. Most expensive dry cleaners in town...

They consistently deliver excellent results for my NFL jerseys, suits, and jeans. If you're picking up your clothes on Saturday, make sure to arrive before 1 PM.

I have brought my clothes here three times, the convenience of the location and service is what brought me back. This last time I brought a suit, three collard shirts, and three slacks. After paying 30+ dollars for the service (which I didn't figure was bad) I went home to inspect the clothes and realized that   my suit had a hole in it, my white collared shirt still has sweat stains on it still, and another shirt has some weird brown stain on it.

When I asked the owner about the issues, he was polite but stated that they don't get sweat stains off unless specifically requested, the stain in my blue shirt was already there, and that the holes in my suit were also there and that it was probably a moth.

Maybe my expectations are to high, but if I owned a business and I saw these obvious defects/stains in articles of clothing, I would let the customer know instantly. I was greatly disappointed at the owners lack of ownership of the issues and even suggested that his "new" employee had worked on these items and will be instructed to keep an eye out for these issues in the future.

My suit has been worn 3 times and has been in a suit bag the rest of the time, so to suggest that moths ate it up is disappointing. The last time I wore it was in October, at which point it didn't have any holes in it....

The owner did offer to clean the stain off of my one blue shirt, but wanted zero ownership for the holes in my suit. I am disappointed to say the least and will be looking for a new drycleaners. Not a bad company, just be sure that you take before and after photos of all your clothes, otherwise you will be stuck with potential damage.

Absolutely infuriated with the abysmal service at J and S Cleaners. They had my grandfather's suit for four days, fully aware we needed it for his funeral, and still didn't have it ready. The manager was nonexistent, and the incompetent lady working there could barely string together a coherent sentence.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. Instead, go to OK Cleaners off Gord Blvd. They cleaned the suit in a few hours and were a pleasure to deal with. J and S Cleaners is a joke and a complete waste of time.

Since it became J&S ,service has become very sketchy. Good service  when someone is there. More than a few time lately during business hours , no one has been there.  Not quite sure what's going on, but someone should be there during business hours. Don't depend on picking your clothes up when you want. Call ahead to see if someone's there.

I'm a new customer. The staff is very friendly. So far, I've had at least 12 alterations on clothing that had to be taken in due to weight loss. Mostly blouses that needed a simple fix. I was told that no "cutting" was necessary. I requested that the sides have pleats that had a "slimming,  "draping effect." The blouses were a bit dull. I wanted them to have a bit more flare and give them more style. They understood the look that I was going for as I described my idea.

To my suprise, they said all that was needed was to use simple elastic strips that would do the job. (I'm going to wash my clothes this weekend for the first time, post alterations, and monitor if any problems develop with the sew-in. I'm optimistic that this method will hold long term without any "unraveling" of the elastic material used. And should that happen, I'm optimistic that they will make it right and do any necessary repairs hassle free.

In the meantime, I've dropped off approx 14 additional articles of clothing. They all needed various types of alterations. I'll pick them up next week, Lord Willing and we live to see it. These alterations will be the true test for their quality & skills, as it won't be just a simple taking in of blouses with elastic strips.

So far, I've received service with a smile (getting rare these days in most establishments). They have excellent memories & remember their customers & what work each one needed done before you even reach the counter... that impressed me the most. The staff truly makes their customers feel valued

I'm optimistic that this last batch of clothes, (approx 14 pieces) that are a mixture of various materials, ranging from expensive, glamorous styled, delicate, summer pantsuites, to dressy-casual pants, to casual, strong cotton, denim  jeans foreveryday wear, all needing to be taken in in various places. Such as: inseams, shoulders/arms, rear backside, etc. Stay tuned for the next review of these next, more complicated alterations, and find out how it goes. So far, so good. 👍🏽👍🏽

Brought in my leather vest to have patches added and I was able to order specific unit patches. After seeing how perfect the vest came out I brought in a skirt I purchased in 1970 that’s barely holding on. Ann was able to recreate the original elastic waist band, never in a million years did I ever dream I’d see this skirt in new condition. Excellent place for alterations!

Bought a used tent from them way cheaper than what they were going for online. They let me check to see if it had all the pieces prior to purchasing it.
