I had an excellent experience with this dry cleaning service! From start to finish, the communication was outstanding. I sent an email describing the damage to my jacket (super puff got stained all over in washing machine), and by the next business day, Mike contacted me. I stopped by to show the stains, and he assured me they would try a couple of different approaches to remove them.

To my surprise, just two days later, I received my jacket looking like new! I couldn’t be happier with the results. The team was professional, efficient, and clearly skilled.

Mike handled my North Face and Canada Goose with care and also took the time to inform me about the jacket’s warranty to fix some fraying on the sleeve. I recently came to get two suits hemmed and pressed, and Mike handled them so well. I could not recommend this place enough.

I recently used Parklane cleaners for Press only services for my 9 shirts and dryclean my comforter, pretty disappointing experience, when i went to pick my shirts they were ironed but not folded and the shirts were in hangers with all the labels and stickers on the top and bottom buttons. This is so much inconvenience as I had to come home and spend 30 minutes to remove the plastic, labels, stickers, and then fold my clothes and put in my closet. When I was picking my clothes i asked the lady at the reception a question " dont you guys fold clothes?" She said we charge 20% extra for that - wow astonishing, never heard something like this from a dry cleaning shop. It was my mistake to find them on google, got fooled by the reviews to use thier services, possibly a shop of 2-3 employees but they all work in silos with no consistency over pricing between employees. Absolutely not going back again and wouldnt recommend.

The first time I discovered it, I couldn’t stop telling my friends how the service exceeded our expectations. The store is clean, professional, and even sends you a text reminder when your order is ready for pickup. I’m so pleased with the service.
The alterations are done with great care, maintaining the original design perfectly. Everyone should give this place 5 stars!
The pricing is very reasonable. Compared to my previous dry cleaner—who charged me $20 just to scrub one pair of pants—North York Premium Dry Cleaners only charged me $26 for two pairs (jeans and cotton). Other places often look for reasons to charge more based on the material, but not here. I truly regret not finding this place sooner.

Ordered pick up service in July for a few summer pieces and a moose knuckle winter jacket. Got the summer clothes back real quick - delivered to my door - and that’s the only good part.

The winter jacket part was a mess. I did not get my jacket back until late September and initially they said it would take a few weeks. Since I did not hear back from them in August, I went into the store to check in person. The lady said she would look for it and call me back - no call back. Went to check in person again a few times and I got asked - “are you sure it’s not delivered to you with the other clothes? You told me it was delivered (what???)” because she marked “all picked up” on the receipt which showed that they did NOT log and track the items. Finally they figured it out that my jacket was in the other location. Picked it up myself and guess what - the hood was missing.

Waited for a few more weeks to get my hood back.  Again the lady said someone would deliver it to my door which did not happen. I also got asked by her if I was 100% sure it was not delivered to me 😅. I had to go in and check in person again. The irony part was that I got an email from them 5 minutes before I arrived that the item was ready for pick up. When on earth did they mention I will be notified by email?? At that point, I was already speechless and grabbed the hood and left. I got home and saw a stain and scratch on my hood which were not there before.

The service and communication is inconsistent and has great room for improvement. I’m posting this comment for future customers and I will not ever go back.

Signed up for laundry concierge as it seemed like an easy way to handle dry cleaning and be able to track it. In early June I dropped off a duvet for dry cleaning, I followed the steps on the app for putting it into a locker properly and marking is as dropped off. Little did I know that would be the last time I see that duvet!

Since then, I never got any updates about it being cleaned and brought back for pick up (expected time was 1 week). I reached out via email where the manager informed me that they would look into it, but required me following up multiple times before I got a response. They then gave me a phone call saying there was some issue on their side with the cleaning not being assigned to my account properly but that they had put it in one of the lockers and were going to text me the locker and code for pickup. I asked on the phone call for them to confirm what it was they put into that locker since it had not been 5 weeks since I dropped it off for delivery, they said they would check and call me back and that was the last heard from them. Luckily on that call they said they were not going charge me for the cleaning because of the experience.

I never found out what locker it was in or what the code was, I never heard back about confirming what they think was in the locker. And after almost 2 full months of waiting I’m assuming that duvet is probably lost.

I most definitely would have been much better off with a standard dry cleaner, I would not recommend use of this service.

Clean, machines are all usually working (bottom row of dryers tend to dry faster), friendly and helpful people work there. They have a drop off service if you don't have the time to - or interest to - do it yourself.

Love that this place heats their water using solar energy! What a cool idea. Also, free WiFi and great hours. Oh, and it's coin operated, not stupid card operated. Only downfall is that there isn't really a good place to sit and chill while you wait.

This place is clean, machines are new, and in good repair. They offer dry cleaning services too. Owner is a kind and caring person. One of the best coffee places in town is next door.

If there is anything that upsets me the most is when my time is wasted.  I was at this laundry mat at 6:20am and put in 2 loads with soap.

I go to put a bill in the change machine and it doesn’t work.  My understanding is that it only takes loonies and toonies, which is totally ridiculous. Not one sign around stating that their change machine is not working properly. Why wasn’t the change machine inspected by the owner when they opened the mat in the morning? The phone number listed on the wall to call in case of an issue is out of service.

I had to spend an additional 20 mins trying to find a place to get change for $20. There was another local laundry mat that actually had a working change machine and I was able to get change. Ironically, the laundry Mat I got change from did not have signs on their wall discouraging people from using their change machine if not doing business with them, yet Beach Solar Laundry mat does…

A business that solely relies on one way of payment to use their machines, but fails to provide the means to use them. No signage or warnings at there door about their defective change machine. No customer service apparently until 8am when the dry cleaner next door opens.

Before covid I was tolerating when their machines didn’t work because of lovely ladies working there. But current staff members are so rude; dryers don’t work properly so you have to pay double to dry your clothes. And it looks like the owner doesn’t care if he loses the customer. Because when I complained about the ongoing issues there He advised me to go other laundromat close by. Unbelievably rude. They definitely lost me.

I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with Alfred Dry Cleaning, and I wouldn’t recommend their service.

I dropped off a white jacket on October 5th, clearly noting stains on the cuffs and inside the neck. I picked it up on October 11th to find the locker unlocked, the jacket hanging in a flimsy plastic sleeve, and dirtier than when I sent it in.

After weeks of unanswered emails and follow-ups, their Operations Manager finally contacted me on November 1st, promising to personally oversee the cleaning. Yet another week passed with no updates, and when I finally got through to him, I was told the jacket had been returned to a locker without any notification.

I picked it up today—six weeks after I initially dropped it off—and it’s still dirty and wrinkled. Unprofessional and unreliable at every step.

Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for dry cleaning.

Always overcharge despite comments on the pickup form. Non-responsive costumer service, either ignore your message or responding after several resend. Average ironing and challenge to clean white shirts.

I've been using Alfred at least once a week for over a year and they have always been excellent. Ran into an issue where all the lockers at our condo were full. I email asking what to do, within minutes I got a call and an email, they wanted to make sure my dry cleaning got done, they said they were on the way to come and pickup and to leave it at the front desk. It wasn't just a form email or a try again later, but a real solution. I really appreciate the extra effort, it makes me so happy to see service is still alive and well.
