We have been coming here on a weekly basis for a couple of years. My husband gets all of his work shirts dry cleaned regularly, and has also had alterations done to tailor pants, jackets, etc. Most notably, however, I recently had my wedding dress altered by Soo, and I cannot recommend her enough! She spent months meticulously altering every detail of my dress to make sure it was absolutely perfect, and she did it all for a more than reasonable price! Just look at the pictures and you can see the craftsmanship in her work! If you are getting married or going to a wedding or formal, I absolutely recommend coming here for your alterations.

I’ve used this place a few times now for both dry cleaning and alterations. Clothes always come back looking great, and the alterations were done very well. The staff is nice and they usually have everything ready on time. No complaints.

Lucy Cleaners saved me from having to buy a new bridesmaid dress 2 weeks before the wedding! After tripping on the cord to my wax warmer, wax spilled ALL over the back of my dress (yes, as ridiculous as it sounds). I was freaking out, but within a week the dress was ready and was spotless. My fiancée did the drop off and pick up so I did not meet the staff personally, but he said the woman at the front was very sweet and great to work with. I am so thankful for their help!

The lady at the front desk had a thick, hard to understand accent, but she was still nice and repeated herself as many times as I needed her to. She did an amazing job cleaning and sewing patches on to my favorite black wool jacket - it was covered in white powder stains - and when I got it back the patches were elegantly sewn on the sleeves exactly where I asked her to place them, with the thread tightly hugging their edges so it looked like they had always been there, as part of the jacket itself.

The new management here is amazing! I’ve had several pants altered and tailored and they always look great. Owners are very nice and always have my clothes looking fresh. They have the best shop in the area!

Had two suit jackets cleaned and an alteration done. Went to wear one of the suit jackets a week later and realized they had replaced one of the front buttons with a cheap, plastic version that looked nothing like the other, without telling me. Not sure if they knocked it off in the cleaning process or what, but not a good way to do business on their part. I now have to replace both front buttons because of how ridiculous it looks and, needless to say, will not be going back.

Got a multi-layer hem done here for a bridesmaids gown. The hem was done well but the price was $120, which in my opinion is too expensive for the service.

Love this place and they do such a great job with our clothes each and every-time !!

They charged me for cleaning that was not mine (Over $100). When I disputed it, they claimed they had no receipt, but I showed them where the money came out of my checking account.  Been going to them for over 11 years, you would think they would want to resolve this issue.  WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!

My husband got his wedding suit altered here and they did a great job. Customer service is fine - not the friendliest but they are not rude.

I don't know about the other reviews but this place is great. I have been going here for a while now and their service is amazing and the prices are very reasonable! I have gotten stains out of my clothes and alterations done here with out any problems. Not to say my skin is very sensitive and this cleaners uses organic materials to clean the clothes. Also my clothes are always ready in a couple of days and they seem to try their best to fulfill my requests.

Would give zero stars if possible. They turned a vintage silk Oscar de la Renta shirt yellow and then tried to give me store credit. The material itself is no longer silk and now is coarse. Save yourself the trouble.

They do a good and careful job on my (mostly) shirts. This place is friendly, efficient, and fast. Prices are reasonable.  A few short-term parking spots are right out front, so I never have a problem parking.  I have never used it, but tailoring is also available.

Most of my cleaning here has been great, but I sent a large batch last time I was here and one suit came back with a very strong order.  It was so bad that when I was changed into the suit, I had to change out of it.  I can't really bring any of my clothes back.  I'm not sure what happened, because every other piece was fine.  This smell seemed like these two pieces had not only not been cleaned but seemed also like they were in with other pieces (other than mine) that were not cleaned.

I used them for their spectacular wash and fold service. They were always timely and the prices are extremely fair. I've moved away but didn't realize just how wonderful and friendly they were until I was forced to use a service in my new neighborhood. The staff is always kind and the service efficient. I would highly recommend them and am am considering trekking the distance to use them again.

I’ve been going here for months because it’s convenient and I work 6 days a week so doing my own laundry is difficult. Every time I take my clothes, the guy at the front has an attitude and is always rude no matter what day of the week it is. Every time I receive my clothes there’s new stains on them that were not there when I dropped my clothes off. I work at a restaurant as a host, I can not be showing up to work with random stain on my clothes. I’ve bought new clothes but the second I bring them to wash, they come back with new stains, at this point I’m paying $40 a week to get my clothes destroyed and let’s not forget the fact that they never smell clean. The photos I added aren’t even of everything. Every single piece of clothing I own now has a stain. Just do yourself a favor don’t go to them

I don't have anything to compare it to and this is the only laundromat I've really used, but I love this place. I mostly use them for their wash and fold service, it's so convenient to leave a heap of dirty clothes in the morning and come back to a clean and well folded set. I've also had a suit dry cleaned here a couple time, there was one time they told me they might not be able to get a smell out of it but when I returned the suit was as fresh smelling and clean as new. They do great work, and I would highly recommend them!

Was referred here by my spouse. I took 2 pants to be taken in and an Italian linen blazer to be altered adding loops in the back for a corset effect.
The first time I picked up the jacket I did not inspect until I got home. I then noticed that the material used for the loops were an athletic elastic material almost like a material used for draw strings. I then returned for the loops to be changed to a different material, one that would match/ compliment/ coordinate w/ the jacket. The gentleman insisted that I pay an additional $50 to have the material changed. I 100% understand the extent of the work but we never verified what material would be used. Also, I would like to note that I was trusting the judgement of “professionals”. I personally would never think to use that elastic material on a linen material.
I respectfully declined the $50 charge and was able to get it down to a more reasonable amount, even though in my opinion, it should have been free of charge since the alterations were completed within the same week.
When I came to pick up the jacket the gentleman had a less inviting demeanor. I inspected the jacket and upon inspection noticed some bunching on the seams. At this point I knew I did not want them working on anything else of mine so I did not speak up and my travel plans were fast approaching. So I took my garment and went on my way.
When I got it home and tried it on it only got worse.  Loose threads left on the jacket, rip on the ase of loop, loops facing every which way but the right way.

I am beyond disappointed. Safe to say, I will do my own alterations from now on or find someone who is interested in paying attention to details.

The seamstress in this place is magnificent and honest.  She's gives you an estimate of the work before beginning to make sure you're on board with the price.  Things that can't be laundered in-house, can be sent out and brought back.  They did a great job with a suede coat that I couldn't get anyone else to clean.

Try to bring your own bags to avoid all the wasteful plastic.

Best of all, all my clothes apparently, actually fit now.  No need to walk out of my pants accidentally anymore 😆

Our cashmere sweater was ruined during dry cleaning. We are certain that there was no hole in the sweater before it was sent to the dry cleaner. After the dry cleaning, we found a hole with a circle of burnt marks around it. After reporting this to the dry cleaner's owner, he removed the burned parts and insisted that it was not his responsibility and claimed that the hole had been there originally. We won't come to this store again！

The owners are very friendly and the work was good. However, I tried to pick up my item 2 days after the promised date, but it was still not ready. They did have it ready by the end of the day.

We've gone to venus for the better part of a year now and given them everything from routine dry cleaning, to custom wedding dress and suit alterations. The couple who works there is good and they get alteration work done on schedule. We've trusted them with some of the most important garments we've ever worn and they do a great job performing all kinds of tailoring and alternation work.

Do not come to this place! I dropped off a suit for a funeral that I have to be at early tomorrow morning an hour away. They told me to be here at 5 PM to pick it up today. It’s now 5:45 PM and they close at six and no one is here. I’m gonna have to leave and have absolutely nothing to wear for this funeral, I’m beyond livid. STAW AWAY!

AVOID this place at all cost!!! They put a hole in my wife’s silk blouse! And then had the nerve to claim that the hole was already there! They took no responsibility for the destroyed article of clothing. It’s so disappointing. She loved that blouse and now it’s ruined! This place is garbage. Avoid avoid avoid.

Go somewhere else! I used this cleaner to professionally care for a goose down jacket and my north force coat. The goose down zipper was broken yet they zippered the jacket and didn’t notify me of the damage. Keep in mind that it was a new jacket that I purchased from Nordstorm and I don’t wear it much in Baltimore so I wanted it washed before storing it after moving from chicago. I paid way too much for a basic cleaning. The zipper was damaged as well as the down feels pressed and I found white powder in the crevices of the jacket.
I called to inform the owner of what happened and she hung up the phone on me. Then when I called back she tells me that she’s with a customer but won’t address my concern. She tells me to bring the jacket back but when I inform her that I took Thor jacket for a skiing trip and could she make a note of it so that we discuss when I am back in town she was even less responsive and then a language barrier went up as well as her inability to resolve my issue. This is unprofessional and lacks customer service. It’s not worth the risk of the damage caused to my jacket.

DO NOT GO HERE! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND OVERPRICED. I was told my skirt would be ready on Saturday. I went to pick it up on Tuesday morning and had to wait for 45 min. Not only did she open the shop an hour late, my skirt was still not hemmed. I had to come back during my lunch break to pick it up and she gave me only a $5 discount on the overcharged alteration bill of $66.
