The owner permanently hot glues a tag to all your clothes so that he can track it in his system. They destroyed my $100 shirt this way. Additionally, my coat which was supposed to be dry cleaned, was given back with a damaged button that couldn’t be fixed. The owner attempted to replace the button, but instead applied a completely random color button.

It is a great place to have your clothes cleaned and tailored. The owner, Sam, also runs it and is there almost all the time.

He cares about his customers.

One time my mother accidentally left a diamond earring in her clothes. Sam found it and returned it to her. How many places would do that for you?

This wasn't the only time he has done that. I have heard from other customers similar stories.

I myself was there once when someone dropped off some clothes to get cleaned. Sam went through the pockets like he always does to make sure nothing was accidentally left. He found a wad of cash rolled up, called up the owner and returned the money.

You will not find a more honest and caring cleaners.

I have used many different dry cleaners throughout my life, and I have never been this impressed. Not only are they competitively priced, they are extremely transparent. If they notice there's a lining issue, or there's a rip on the pants, they will reach out to you and will tell you all the options before they move forward. They don't just decide what to do on their own, which many dry cleaners end up doing.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now, and I’m very pleased with the quality of all the work they do- dry cleaning is excellent, shirt laundering is good, and the tailoring was perfect- I had the length of my suit pants shortened a bit and it came out very neat and even (and inexpensive, if I might add).  Ursula is super friendly, and I’m sure if there were to be any issues- that she would take care of it.

I found Esther's back in 2015 when I first moved to Queens and it has been my go to ever since. Even though I moved to NJ and now to Manhattan, I go 1.5 hours out of my way to get all my tailoring and 95% of my cleaning done at Esther's. It is completely worth it!! I brought my suit in on Monday and was told it would be ready before a wedding I had on Thursday. On Thursday I called a number of times to confirm and was updated that it was on the way and that she'd give me a call as soon as it comes in. Not 20 min after my last call about 15 min before I need to leave to the wedding I go to the shop amd they are closed! I go in the next day to pick it up and it wasn't even there.
