From the moment we walked in, they were kind, understanding, and so helpful. Not only did they clean the dress and jumpsuit by the next morning, but they also had them pressed and ready to wear. I genuinely don’t know what I would’ve done without them. They saved me from a full-blown panic attack.

Wow, this one was an awful customer service experience. Don't go here if you have delicate stuff. If they damage it, they are going to blame you.

I've sent in a shirt before and it was cleaned well. So, I sent in an old 100% silk dress, which had old arm pit stains. The first time I stopped by for pickup, the stains were still there. I thought they missed it somehow based on what the front desk staff said - and they asked me to come back the next day.

The second day, I pick it up and there are rips and holes with slightly lighter stains. Understandably, as a customer, I was shocked and tried to understand what had happened. More people came out from the back and one blonde woman, in particular, came out intensely aggressive and angry. She disparaged the value of my dress - that it's old and "can't even be worth much," and kept asking how old it was and how much I paid for the garment originally. She kept yelling that it was "YOUR arm pit sweat that did the damage," which felt like body shaming in front of her staff. She angrily told me to contact the original dress maker if I want to recoup the cost of the damage because they didn't do anything wrong. They also changed their story - they said that they cleaned twice but when I asked why they didn't warn me the second time could rip the garment (they kept insisting that was unavoidable), then it changed back to one time - but the stain was lighter. The rest of the staff, I'll admit, were pretty measured in comparison to the demeaning woman.

Accidents happen but to have the business owner immediately getting defensive and resorting to yelling at their customer in front of her staff was appalling - especially when they are the ones that damaged the garment. They offered to give me future credit but I'm moving out of the area, so it wasn't useful. I had already paid for the cleaning, so I just asked them to repay me for the amount, and I left. There were no compensations given for damaging a loved garment with sentimental value because it wasn't "worth anything."

Nothing remarkable; just an average regular dry cleaners. There's no dry cleaner location near where I live; this one is one of the two closest dry cleaners, both of which are 45-50 minutes from where I live.

Understandably, the hours online did not reflect the hours that this branch opens. However the sign on the door reflected an 8:00 AM-4:00 PM business day and I sat for over thirty minutes, called, only to be told by the other cleaners that the Preston branch did not open until 9:00 AM.

About four other people showed up while I was waiting. Although we are in the middle of a pandemic, if you’re going to offer open hours of business, please be consistent with those hours and accurate. We wouldn’t want someone else sitting in wait.

The other branch is amazing. Go there.

The worst customer service that I've experienced in a long, long time. Trying to resolve an issue with my dry cleaning, I was schooled on the difference between a fold and a crease, and was told (among other things), "You know, there are more important things in the world right now."  I won't be going back.

I’ve been a customer here for a pretty good long time.  I took 10 items in and 8 were returned to me.    The older gentleman in the store wasn’t rude but very unwilling to even double check the belt to see if he could find my items.  I Nike sweatshirt and a AE jean jacket.  My frustration was that he could’ve checked but simply refused to look because he felt that his system was infallible.  Very unprofessional and disappointing

I have been going here consistently for the past year and a half. Typically employees are a bit stand-of-ish / rude, which I tend to ignore. Today, I have decided I will never go back. I was turned down at the door (when it was still open), and they locked it in front of me, at 5:59 pm. They close at 6pm. If I’m the manager / owner of that place, I’d be pretty unhappy about this type of attitude. I rush there after work to get there in time to drop clothes off, driving a few extra minutes each time to support a local UVA-alumni-owned business… I will no longer be doing that. I would also be pretty upset losing consistent business (tons of dry-cleaned suits and dress shirts, pants, etc. every couple of weeks) that is super easy. But that’s up to them. If it tells you anything, this is my first google review ever, so that’s how turned-off I was by the encounter.

I didn't have a good experience due to a missing and damaged belt loop on my winter coat. I do not recommend sending any clothing with special buttons or sequins etc. They claim not to be responsible for damage and loss of these types of items. I regret that I sent in my new coat based solely on rankings on Google Maps.

They do a really good job with the dry cleaning and the prices are very good. I took a suit and a dress and the whole thing came out to like $25--I was expecting double that, which is what I paid back in Atlanta. They are a bit slow (it took a week to get everything back), but I also didn't ask for it to be any faster (they might charge more if you do? I am not sure).

We are in Charlottesville for our daughter s wedding. My husband’s suit was wrinkled upon taking out of garment bag. Our hotel recommended Carriage cleaners so we went to have it pressed.
