I dropped off my Army Service Uniform (jacket, dress shirt, trouser) to be dry cleaned last Friday and picked them up today…. Came to realize that my gold trouser braid is covered all over in blue smudges…. Instead of apologizing, he immediately said it’s not his fault and blamed the pants. This trouser was issued when I went through basic training and never had issues at other dry cleaning businesses. He said if I go buy another gold trouser braid he will sew it for me…. He thinks those braids are cheap. He still asked me to pay full service with no reimbursement. No accountability for his poor job but blamed the trouser. First and last time with this business. Not recommending to anyone.

Every time I go here, they make me more loyal. I brought in a silk jacket that I over-loved. The cuffs were frayed and inner lining was torn. They fixed it. Period. And the price was great!
Then I brought in a gold silk skirt that I spilled liquified Carmex lip balm on. I thought it was hopeless, but I got it back spotless.

Took a down comforter here several months ago. They did a stellar job so I brought in another comforter for DRY CLEANING (per the attached tag with instructions). Last night, I put the 2nd comforter on my bed and realized that they machine washed and dried it instead! Now, it's a lumpy mess and I either have to replace or refill it! I'm out $200, can't buy an exact replica as it's discontinued, and warn everyone that you will need to give explicit instructions if you want your items cleaned properly. Sad because I really like the owners...

Brought bed comforter in to be cleaned. Came back with notable bleach spots. Smelled very chemically/artificial fragrance like. Called the shop, they explained that it was not their typical practice to use bleach on non-white items, but were willing to try and “make it right by you”. The comforter is not worth replacing and not worth going through the rigamarole of replacing, either. I appreciate their willingness to work with me, and I’m the one that ultimately chose not to pursue further.

We needed curtains hemmed and they couldn’t get the hems straight. We lost several hundred dollars because I was bedridden and could not put curtains up until much later so never knew how uneven they were until I hung them.  I’ll never have this place do alterations again. We drive out of the way to go to the Supercleaners on Marvin, close to Safeway. That one is good. Avoid the one on Martin.

I brought In an expensive wool coat with the sleeves too long. The alteration that was done was perfect and it didn’t even cost me 40$. Very happy and will go here for all my alteration and dry cleaning needs.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I had such a terrible experience with this place that I feel compelled to share my experience with others. In fact, it was the worst dry cleaning experience I have ever had in my life.

I was in town for a wedding. I was a bridesmaid, and my pleated navy blue dress had some wrinkles from being folded up in a suitcase. Although not too noticeable, I still wanted to get the wrinkles steamed out so that I felt super confident in the dress.

I purposely chose this dry cleaner because the reviews were pretty good. I dropped my dress off on a Tuesday - I made it very clear to the woman at the desk that I wanted the wrinkles steamed out, and I pointed to them. NOT the pleats, I said. Just the stray wrinkles. She said of course, we would never iron out pleats. And she said the dress would be ready for pickup Thursday.

I went back Thursday and had a complete meltdown upon seeing my dress. They literally ironed out ALL of the pleats. I started crying - this was INSANE. Why would anyone iron out pleats?? They quickly got me on the phone with the owner, and I explained the situation. All I wanted was the wrinkles to be steamed out, not the pleats to be ironed out. She asked me what she would like them to do, and I said iron back in every single pleat. The wedding was Saturday, so I needed the dress Friday (the next day). She said “we will try our best” - which made me furious because it was their fault in the first place.

Anyway, I came back the next day (Friday). They ironed back all of the pleats, thank god - but left black marks from the iron. Luckily my dress was dark navy so the black spots weren’t that noticeable, but I was shocked that they were returning the dress in this state. The owner was there, and when I pointed out the black marks, she  said they would have to dry clean the dress - which would take out all the pleats - and then iron the pleats back in. She said they had already spent hours that very morning ironing back all the pleats. The owner made me feel as if the black marks were my fault, when they clearly weren’t - it was a new dress! And from the beginning, the owner made me feel like it was my miscommunication which had caused the whole pleats ordeal in the first place. The woman who originally accepted my dress on Tuesday was not there Thursday or Friday - making me suspicious that she knew something had gone wrong.

If you care about your clothing, do NOT go to this place. The whole situation was extremely stressful and cost me over $200 in Ubers. The owner ended by saying “tell you what, we won’t charge you” - umm, NO KIDDING! I would never pay for this type of service. If anything, she should pay me for the Uber rides I had to take going back and forth a total of 6 times.

This thing hadn’t been cleaned since before I got it second hand and it’s gorgeous right now I would highly recommend! They will do what it takes to get your stuff shining. These days, if a company cheats you, you have the option of putting your side of the story online as a word of warning. AM Cleaners off Marvin in Lacey was always easy to work with but more expensive than other cleaners that do as good a job. However, they were very conveniently located near Costco, so I used their services. Last year, I took a natural fiber runner rug to them. When it came back, the color had been washed out in obvious spots. When I asked the younger of the two male owners to pay me for the damage, he told me "That's not how life works." I told him that another dry cleaners had once ruined a silk blouse of mine and, without my asking, had paid me what it was worth, so I finally talked him into a small payment. He wasn't happy about it, so I later made him a bead bracelet that I saw both men and women wearing and delivered it with a note thanking him for doing the right thing.
This spring I brought AM two down quilts to clean. They charged me almost $100 when I picked them up in plastic bags and I just stored them in my cedar chest for the summer without opening them first. I just took them out of the bags for fall and both quilts were still dirty, stained, and smelled bad. It was obvious that the guy at AM was angry about the rug last year, so he had just taken the dirty quilts and stuffed them into the bags as if cleaned. I told him that I was going to Yelp about it, but it would be better if he reversed his theft by cleaning them properly. Rather than deny my accusation, he smiled in satisfaction and said that I can't prove it. He accused me of extortion and said that his lawyer would be calling me. Wow!

They have always been reliable, for my alterations, cleanings, and pressing!

I’ve been living in Lacey since 2018 and this just so happens to be the closest cleaners to my house and at the time I needed my work uniforms cleaned and pressed! Fast forward to today and I have literally gone to them for anything from cleaning to alterations (more alterations than cleaning) and they always alter everything so perfectly to my body style. Everyone is always friendly and patient

We had two items done, one pair of pants to be dry cleaned and one shirt for laundry. We had a coupon so we took pants in on the day of the coupon and the shirt a couple of days later to take advantage of the coupon. When the clothes were ready the price charged was higher than the coupon listed. The person at the counter took our money but then had to be reminded to give us our items. A truly frustrating transaction. The clothes were cleaned very well.

My wife would like to give Spin City Laundry and Ella in particular, five stars for their extraordinary service. She had a large comforter that could not be laundered at home, so she took it to Spin City. Her first impression of the establishment was positive. It was orderly and immaculate. Ella greeted her and asked if she could be of assistance. My wife was unfamiliar with the payment mechanism, so Ella cheerfully walked her through the process. For the next two hours, she made sure my wife was comfortable and well taken care of. Sitting at a laundromat is not a favorite pastimes but it helps greatly when you are in clean, comfortable surroundings and cared for by pleasant, enjoyable individuals. Used this location 3 times this week after our movers took our laundry unit. All three different days it was clean, quiet, and efficient. Clean clothes, dryers hot. Good music was a bonus. The girls that work there were all friendly and were working hard. Definitely would return if we weren't moving.

Horrible service, we been waiting for a small washer for our clothes to wash. Someone had left their clothes inside the washers, all of them were open. Lady couldn’t do anything about it, but those ppl that wanna wash their clothes and not pay extra for a big washer bc it’s not needed? Now have to wait till person comes back to take their clothes out?

On September 8, 2025, I visited a laundromat in Lacey, WA, which advertises that it is open until 9:00 pm. The sign on the door states the last load is 7:30 pm. I entered at 7:26 pm and began a wash and dry cycle, which together take about 1 hour and 10 minutes (approximately 30 minutes for wash and 40 minutes for dry). This was within the posted rules, yet a woman who seemed to be the owner, or at least closely connected to the owner, told me I could not select a “heavy” cycle because she claimed the last load was actually 7:00 pm. When I pointed out the sign, she told me to “read the sign before coming in,” even though the sign clearly states 7:30 pm.

After my wash finished, I loaded two large mats into the dryer at 8:06 pm and paid for 40 minutes, which meant it would end at 8:46 pm. Since I do not fold these mats and simply bag them, I would have been out before 8:50, well before closing. After the dryer began, I stepped outside to go to the ATM, planning to return before the drying cycle ended. At that moment, the same woman chased me outside and told me I could not leave the premises, saying they close if no one is inside, even though the sign clearly says the business closes at 9:00 pm. I explained I would be back before the dryer finished, but she insisted it does not work like that.

Finally, once everything is done, she added, “this time I let you do this, next time I won’t,” in a demeaning tone as if using the laundromat were some kind of privilege. Her manner was dehumanizing, rude, and unprofessional. Based on how she acted and spoke, it seemed she was the owner or directly connected to the ownership. I believe this was not only misleading advertising but also discriminatory treatment, since I am Asian and she is Hispanic, and I was singled out and treated with hostility.

This business posts one set of rules but enforces another, pressures customers to leave before closing, and treats patrons disrespectfully. I request that the business be investigated for false advertising, unfair practices, and possible discrimination, and that they be required to correct their posted policies, issue refunds when appropriate, and face fines and retraining on customer service and civil rights.

I have been here several times to do large items and I am always impressed how clean the facility is and there never seems to be Out of Order signs on their machines. Everything is maintained well and I appreciate not having to have quarters, as it takes card. The carts are plentiful and parking is easy to get your things back and forth as the back area there where the facility is located, has very little traffic flow. Staff is attentive and they have several snacks and drinks to purchase. I feel safe there, I feel my time there goes quickly, I am able to do what I need at a reasonable cost, and I feel the management has the customer’s experience as a top priority.

Awesome staff, we had a bad washer unit at our hotel and left us with soap in our clothes. We showed up after last wash call 7:30 pm and was allowed to get them in for a quick wash and allowed to dry as long as possible.

Honestly, not a bad spot at all. The HUGE washers and dryers make it super easy to knock out big loads — bedding, hoodies, you name it — all at once. Everything comes out clean and fresh every time.

Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because one morning it took them about 10 minutes past opening to unlock the doors. No big deal, but worth mentioning.

I was also surprised to see they take EBT — never seen that before at a laundromat, just saying.

Big bonus though: they’ve got some old-school pinball machines and arcade games inside. Total throwback and a great way to kill time while the washer’s running.

All around, clean place, fair prices, and a cool retro vibe. I’ll keep coming back for sure.
