Seymour Dry Cleaners

I dropped off my prom dress to be dry cleaned and when I picked it up, several jewels were missing from the dress. When I pointed this out to the lady at the front desk (who was extremely polite), she apologized and assured me that she would have her boss call me when he returned that Monday and that he would make sure it would be fixed and also assured it would be no extra cost to me. Though originally I was just going to take it home and fix it myself, I decided to leave it since she was so insistent on fixing the problem. Well that Monday I waited to get a call, but none came, so around 12 I called and explained that I was supposed to receive a call, they told me he would be back that afternoon, so I once again gave them my info and waited. When he finally called me he was immediately rude, saying how I was supposed to call him that morning (when I was told he was going to call me). I then explained what the lady told me and that he was supposed to call me. Finally, when we got to speaking about the issue he suggested instead of replacing the jewels (like the lady at the desk said would happen) he suggested instead to color the missing spots with A MARKER. I promptly told him there was no way we were doing that and that I would just pick up the dress. He then said that the tag clearly said that the dress should not be dry cleaned and only spot cleaned, I will admit I am at fault for not reading the tag properly, but one would think the dry cleaners would call and inform the client of the situation and suggest instead of doing a dry clean to make it a spot clean, instead they dry cleaned it anyway! I am honestly so disappointed and shocked at this. I have taken many items there and the staff was always very kind and helpful, but I was very disappointed by the boss’s rudeness. It would’ve been nice if someone had called me and informed me of the tag warning and if the man hadn’t been so rude about it.

They are always so helpful and do an AMAZING job with everything that I bring them. They made my coat look brand new again. Definitely recommend them for any of your dry cleaning needs.
