South Knox Laundry & Dry Cleaners

I just left this establishment. I took in my winter jacket to be cleaned for winter storage. The gentleman who waited on me said he would need a deposit now in order for him to clean my jacket. This was a first. I can only assume that he judged that I couldn't afford the cleaning because I entered his store carrying a backpack. His further assumptio must have been that I was a homeless bum who couldn't afford a dry cleaning charge. If this was his conclusion he is wrong. I have a job (2 actually). I'm far from rich but I can afford a dry cleaning bill. No, I do not drive and yes I carry a backpack. This is primarily due to an illness that left me in a bit of a financial crisis including the loss of my vehicle. I'm leaving a 1 star review because I try not to judge or look down on others and I expect the same treatment. This business didn't grant me that and I find it pretty disappointing

I have a Ralph Lauren wool coat, that was my Pawpaws, taken there, the other 2 dry cleaners looked at it and refused, i took it to South knox dry cleaners, they were phenomenal with everything, the quality,time, integrity,and pride showed so well,!!!!! I will never go anywhere else!, the before and after pictures of this was NIGHT AND DAY difference, highly recommended to anyone, extremely reasonable! Superb customer quality and service A++++

Horrible. Went to pick up my work shirts and 1 of then had several small and large black stains on it. About the size of coins. Owner tried to say they were there when I brought the shirt in. The shirt had never been worn only took it there to get all the wrinkles pressed out because it was new. Will never use this place again. Just goes to show if you want something done right use an American who can speak English and has work ethic. Owner is trying to refuse to give a refund or pay for the shirt he destroyed. He needs to go back where he came from. Not a rasist person but where I come from if you mess something up you replace or repair. Just saying. I shouldn't have to pay 50 for a new shirt when the one he messed up has never been worn.

My shirts had wrinkles in them, buttons cracked, strong chemical smell and itch when wearing after laundered there, When I complained the owner was argumentative. This happened the last several times I had shirts laundered there. The location is very convenient for me and I have had good experiences there in the past, so I kept going back, but it has really gone down hill. I will not go back.

Took a pair of pleather pants to get the seem fixed! Was never told when they would be back I called on the date of my pick up per receipt and they were not back. Christmas…new years ….life in general got busy so I called toward the middle of January told yes they were there went in following Tuesday to pick up and they are not there can not find them!!! Refuses to do anything about it except I will check and call you!!! Bunch of lies and rip offs!!! Will never use them ever again!!!
