Chimney Lakes Dry Cleaners

I dropped off $65 worth of dry cleaning, including my military uniform, with a clear pickup date and time. When I arrived as scheduled, I was first told it would be an hour late, then informed it wouldn't be available until the next day — no explanation, no apology. The staff, particularly the front desk employee (whose name began with “D”), was rude and dismissive. I was then told I could go pick it up myself from the plant where they outsource the cleaning — a 25-minute drive each way. I ended up spending an hour driving to retrieve my own order, and when I asked the owner for a reasonable price adjustment for the inconvenience, he refused, stating he couldn’t give it to me "for free" — even though I never asked for that. He eventually offered a $15 credit for my next visit but made no apology and showed no concern for the inconvenience caused. I paid the full price, received poor service, and was treated with indifference. There was a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, or basic customer courtesy. I would not trust this business again — especially if your items are time-sensitive or important.

Excellence in business! Consistency is key and this place is on point. It's just dry-cleaning until your business clothes get jacked up by a cleaner. These guys are amazing and the price is good too. Never had a problem with the service or quality and I have been a customer for 5 years now. I highly recommend these cleaners. Try them out you won't be disappointed.

This establishment does not even rate a 1 star. My son's FFA jacket was dropped off to be cleaned after his steer showing at the Clay County Fair. The jacket was picked up in a plastic covering but not checked to see how it looked. It was brought home and hung in the closet. Today, my son had a function with the FFA and had to wear his jacket. He pulled it out of the plastic cover and immediately called me. I took one look at it and could not believe the poor quality of the service from chimney lakes dry cleaners. It appears that they possibly ran a brush across it and were done. All the same spots still had the dry dirt in between the groves of the jacket. Just poor quality cleaners are what they are. Then, when you go there to inform them, the individuals working can not give a refund. The owner has to do it. And as you can guess, he was not there. As you can see from the photos, their quality of cleaning is sub-par. The jacket still smelt like livestock. I can guarantee you'd get better cleaning using a rock in a stream. Update two days later, the owner has been called three separate times with messages left each time and no replies. EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY both in customer care and workmanship...

Daria was an excellent representative who welcomed us with a smile and warm attitude. It made a mundane chore, a wonderful experience that we hope others will enjoy as well.
