Newport Cleaners

Didn't even get to see how my items would turn out as they had a 4 day turn around time for the gentleman in front of me who only needed a single jacket cleaned. I had a much bigger load with 2 shirts and 1 jacket so it probably would've been equally long if not longer to do 3 whole items. That being said I don't think there's a single 24 hours dry cleaners in Lexington, let alone a 1 hour cleaner. I was leaving the next day so I brought my clothes by in the morning hoping they would be done by afternoon the next day. No dice.

I've never had a dry cleaner turn me down because I wouldn't prepay for services not yet rendered. Why would I pay for laundry services before I even see that they were cleaned properly? And this is all of the sudden. Never had to prepay here before. It was always an option but they never required it until today... The last day I visit this location. I'll take my 50 items of clothing somewhere else to be cleaned, probably at a better price and definitely with better customer service.

My by far favorite cleaner in the area. I live in Paris but this Newport is in an easily accessible route that when I need to have stuff dry cleaned etc will add Newport into the errand run. Everything is always handled very well. Prices are as expected for the quality and timeliness. I love the one day turn around and Saturday availability. The staff is always competent and respectful. I will continue to use this cleaner when the need arises. I highly recommend this cleaner to anyone in the area who might need the services.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I dropped a pair of Ugg boots off around 10/11 or 10/12 and they were supposed to be ready 10/31, but I didn't get them back until 11/9. I kept calling to see if they were ready and they told me they would call when they came in, but they never called. I went in there on 11/9 and there they were. I just assumed they were fine because they were in a clear bag, so I just brought them home and hung them up until I could spray them. Today, I took them out of the bag and the button on one of them was completely torn off and gone. I called the store and they told me the only thing they can do is send them back to see if they will fix them. ummm, no thanks. Send them back so they can be there for over a month just to SEE if they can fix them?! I called back and told them I paid 40$ for these shoes to be cleaned and they came back with a missing button, so I can't even wear them and I have to find a replacement button to fix it myself. The woman on the phone proceeded to tell me she had customers and she gave me another number to call and complain. Seriously????? Never again.

Outstanding Drycleaning company! Excellent service, competitive pricing, and plenty of Locations throughout the Bluegrass to serve their customers. They definitely do a great job! Highly recommend!
