Dry cleaners & Laundrette (Paula's)

Excellent customer service from the team at this Dry Cleaners (Paula's) in Sedgley Park 11 Bury New Road, across the road from Lidl and just up from local Sainsbury's. Better than I'd hoped for outcome! Was given a beautiful hat but it had stains and looked well worn. Paula cleaned this up beautifully and I now have a fabulous hat! All for a very decent price.

The staff is always friendly, professional, and attentive to detail. They’ve done everything from simple hems to more complex tailoring, and the results have been consistently outstanding. Turnaround time is quick, prices are reasonable, and they’re great about keeping you updated if anything changes. I especially appreciate how carefully they handle delicate fabrics—my garments always come back looking brand new. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for reliable, high-quality dry cleaning or alterations!

I recently took an item in for dry cleaning at this launderette, and although there was an unfortunate mix-up with another customer’s order (through no fault of their own), Paula went above and beyond to make it right. She made every effort to recover the original item and, when that wasn't possible, she kindly replaced it with a similar one and even gave me £10 off my next dry cleaning. Truly excellent customer service—professional, thoughtful, and honest. I’d definitely recommend them!

Really friendly owner and staff and have always received excellent service here. I have been going here for years for dry cleaning and alterations. The lady who does alterations is absolutely brilliant. If she cannot do it or it wouldn’t look good, she would just say. A sign of a great and trusted service. Would definitely recommend.

Good workmanship at a fair price. Only issue was that it was not ready at the time I was told so needed a second visit to collect. Having said that, I would use them again.
