Local launderette with washers and dryers. Machines were clean. Some reading materials about. Machines take coins, but change can be obtained from staff. Bring cash. Large dryer was 50p for 5min

My regular haunt. The people at this place are very nice, friendly and honest. I have a service wash done and everything is immaculately washed, dried and folded. Decent value with lots of equipment. Can get very busy at times though. Thursday seems to be the quiet day. Will continue to use.

This is a good launderette with lots of machines. It's always clean, and the machines are reasonably priced. In May 2024 a standard self-service wash is £4. The bigger machines cost from £6, depending on size. A wash takes about 30 mins - a little longer, sometimes (depending on your chosen cycle). The dryers are really efficient. It's 50p for 5 mins. I find most drying cycles need about 20 to 30 mins, depending on the weight of the washing and how well spun it is. The washers take £1 coins and 20p coins. The dryers take 50ps. The more modern ones at the front of the shop also take £1 and £2 coins. The staff can change coins/notes if they have it available. There's lots of free parking outside, plus other shops (a OneStop if you forget your detergent, places to buy a coffee/food etc.).
