Monarch Dry Cleaners

Not as cheap per wash nor as clean as the launderette we used in Stafford BUT good sizesd machines and the dryers are much better. Drying a wash load is cheaper so I reckon it evens itself out overall. Change available from the dry cleaners next door. You can pop into heron foods while you wait or grab something from the chippy if you're hungry. Only reason for 4 not 5 stars is the dog hairs everywhere at 8 o'clock in the morning.

Use this place for our dry cleaning, mainly duvets. Reasonably priced.

A great laundrette, easy to use machines and somewhere to sit and wait

Really struggling to wash and dry my washing lately due to the weather. Went to monarch - one large machine and one little machine killed off at least four home washes in 40 mins and the driers had it dry and crease free in 30 mins. I also dropped a suit off to be cleaned and pressed - ready tomorrow and a shade of the cost at Johnson’s in Stafford! It isn’t cheap - but nor is gas, electricity, business rates, or water at the moment and the lady in the adjoining dry cleaners is very happy to help with change or if you need a hand with a machine. Had workmen servicing a broken machine whilst I was there and it was busy in use by the time I left. It Will happily bring my business here again and support a local company!

Good! Managed to wash a huge duvet for £9. Was well chuffed. Take your own products though there is none available to buy if you forget yours!
