Wash N Go Launderette

Popped in to get a quilt washed not really knowing what to expect having not used a launderette before. Girl working there was very friendly and helpful. I pretty much dropped it off and got a call an hour later when it was cleaned, dried and ready to collect. Cost £16 which I feel was very good, much better than buying a replacement.Will use again.

I came here due to one I was going to go to only does one drop a week so I phoned Friday dropped off my suit blazer and picked up Tuesday fantastic. Service thank you

Stay away your clothing will be stolen if it’s designer or of interest! If I could give them 0 I would, the owner is so rude it’s unreal. The fact I have been supporting your business for over a year. I queried why my clothes keep going missing and being replaced with ripped up lower priced clothes, the owner had the cheek to tell me this is impossible and why haven’t I checked the bags the week before when I have been in hospital on chemo which quite frankly is none of their business. This has happened on several occasions and I have flagged with the staff instore who blew me off but this time I called and made offical so she’s clearly upset that they have been caught or called out by the sounds of it. You just do not approach your customers like that! On top off this, numerous times I have been in and been charged more each time for the same bag of washing, which I understand - it’s hard out there for small business and I have never held this against them and still remained a loyal customer. Also receiving clothes back with more stains on than when they went in (only minor) so again I never mentioned. I have been extremely understanding. I’m honestly disgusted at the way the this was handled, I will not be returning to this laundrette ever again. I run a small business myself and would never deal with any of my customers like this. In the current climate we are very lucky for each and every one of them. *update - the cost I referred to was per bag, which changes on a daily basis the staff member actually told me it depends on how busy they are or how much they have to do when I asked why. Nothing to do with how many have taken. It’s like a lucky dip what price you’ll be charged, the last time I asked the lady if she can tell me how much before and was told she wouldn’t know until after so the price is obviously not based on a weight or other factors. I will still be coming in to review the CCTV but also said to the owner on the phone I would be writing a review as I’m clearly not happy with the service. Must say I wasn’t shocked when I seen there’s actually several reviews that say the same that their items have gone missing so it’s obviously a problem. I wouldn’t mind but the items going missing cost £100s of pounds and in return I have got back ripped up and stained non branded clothing.

Have used them for many years but the service has now changed so much WILL NEVER USE AGAIN a king Size quilt , a lightweight throw under 2 tog wash and dry and 1 single quilt cover 1 single sheet and 2 pillowcases which I had wash dry and iron supplied my own unopened powder and comfort which was for sensitive skin total cost £48.75 and I didnt get the washing powder or comfort back absolutely disgusted with the situation and after receiving the owners response which basically terms me a liar as regards my detergent powder and comfort plus her complete lack of customer focused response and I requested a full breakdown receipt of the costs which was not forthcoming and furthermore a lady who was actually in the shop was shocked at the cost of the very small wash dry and iron bundle of 5 items which meant if the quilt was £16 and the throw £16 then those 5 items cost £16 75 @less said about tge service the better now
