I’ve been a loyal customer of Thrift-D-Lux for years, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. A few weeks ago, I brought in two pairs of pants for alterations. One pair needed a small button replaced, and the other pair needed both a button and a zipper replacement. Unfortunately, when I picked them up, the instructions were completely mixed up. They replaced the zipper on the wrong pair of pants (which only needed a button), and on the pair that actually needed the zipper replaced, they only replaced the button.

Even worse, I was charged $15 just to replace a button, which seems absurd. For the pair of pants that had both a button and zipper replaced, the cost was $45. I understand businesses need to cover costs, but these prices are unreasonably high, especially given the mistake made on my order. The instructions were clear on the tickets and were even read back to me at pick-up, so there’s no excuse for the mix-up.

On top of that, I inquired about dry cleaning for a few simple dresses, and the quote was $20 per dress, which seems excessive for basic items with no intricate detailing.

Overall, I’m very disappointed in the service and pricing. This experience has made me question whether I’ll return in the future. It’s frustrating to see such a lack of attention to detail and fair pricing from a business I’ve frequented for years.

I was quoted for 2 dresses, $35 each because I needed the zippers fixed. I thought it was insanely pricey but I agreed. I had my brother go pick up the clothes because the rest of the items in the receipt were his, they completely changed the price! It was $90 for 2 zipper alterations!!!!
She never gave me any price at all in writing and I feel like a complete idiot for not asking for it but I have never ever had this happen at a dry cleaners place.

I made the mistake of trusting Google reviews, on yelp there were several experiences like mine. Completely insane.

They advertise alterations. I took two paur of pants to have shortened.  No room to change into your clothes. In fact I was informed you have to bring them the measurements.  Never heard of such a way of doing alterations  business.

I've been using them for the past several months and they are crushed it when it comes to cleaning. My suites never looked better, an all white designer outfit that was yellow stained cause of aging. Brooks brother dress shirt with worn collar color. Ever item I bring comes back new!!!🤩

Liz was very nice and easy to talk to. She explained the process of my Dry Cleaning and made me feel my suits were in good hands. Definitely would recommend the Losee location. They delivered my suits on time and I am very pleased with the service I received.

Had a handmade quilt from my sister cleaned and when we got it home , the white areas were no longer white as you can see in the first picture. The second picture shows that all the white is now a pale green. They have you sign a waiver when you drop it off, so that they aren’t responsible.  $40 to have my quilt permanently altered. If you value your items don’t go here!  The difference in color is way more obvious with the naked eye.

I dropped my blazers off this summer and forgot about them 😳Just picked them up and they look Amazing! I love the manager outstanding customer service for going beyond their 30 day policy in holding on to my items! Your clothes are safe here☺️

I was in need of a cleaner ASAP. These guys were super polite when I was walking through that door. I needed my clothes the following day and they were able to get it done. The clothes came back clean and crispy. I highly recommend them and I’ll be a regular customer from now on

Great, friendly, and effective service. I dropped off coveralls that were soiled from years of working on cars. Engine oil, coolant, transmission oil, gear oil, brake fluid, and everything of that sort was layered and soaked in the fabric. They gave the coveralls back to me in like-new condition! I wish I had taken a before/after photo for reference.

Their service is great, friendly, and prompt. I would highly recommend their business for your dry cleaning needs.
