I have waited six months for the owner to return my calls and answer my questions.  Since that has never materialized, I will post my experience so others can be beware.  I dropped off a dress to be cleaned and asked the price.  Told it would be $20.00.  It was an Oscar de la Renta dress that I had bought on sale years before for $150.  When I picked it up the charge was $210!  I thought it was a typo but they had already charged my card on file.  Incredibly rude counter woman told me it was because it was couture.  It was not couture - it was a day dress from their bridge line and they were charging me more to clean it than I had paid for it.  No one ever called to tell me the price change ahead of time. When I asked to speak to manager or owner I was told they were off property and unavailable.  I asked for a phone number or email.  Denied.

A friend of mine whom I told about this called me a few days later to tell me she was in to pick up cleaning and there was a woman there picking up a bridal gown and it was only $250!  As you can see from my pictures, my dress was no bridal gown!

My kitten went into heat and sprayed on a very expensive sweater. When I got back home I noticed it still smelled like cat piss and there was still a noticeable stain on the white inside (the outside is black). I called them to see if they had any tricks they would work to try and get it out, so they told me to bring it back in for a complimentary rework. I showed them the stain on the inside and the lady made a note for it (don’t recall her name but she was very nice) and said it would be ready in a week.

The next day I got a call saying it was ready for pickup. The sweater looked and smelled brand new, and the piss stain is essentially gone which is pretty amazing for not using bleach.. Not sure what they did but I’m definitely satisfied. Will be back!

I’ve been a loyal customer of this business for over five years, consistently bringing in large orders—sometimes 20+ items every few weeks—despite the premium pricing. While I was initially willing to pay for the convenience and the promise of high-quality service, my recent experience has been extremely disappointing.

Over the past several months, I’ve encountered numerous issues with damaged items, including marked or stained silk garments, faulty stitching, and a noticeably altered (and expensive) pair of Zimmerman shorts. The total value of the affected items is over $3,000. I compiled a detailed booklet with photos, item descriptions, and pricing to present my concerns clearly.

Despite multiple in-person visits, follow-up calls, and over 3 months of back-and-forth communication, there has been no meaningful resolution. The owner, Brian, has repeatedly deflected responsibility and made excuses rather than addressing the issue directly or offering any form of compensation or repair.

It’s disappointing that a business charging $100+ for cleaning a single dress or jacket would show such disregard for long-time, high-volume customers. Unfortunately, this level of customer service does not reflect the professionalism one should expect from a premium cleaner.

I can no longer recommend this establishment. If you’re looking for quality care and respectful service, East Bay Cleaners just down the street has been both affordable and a pleasure to work with.

I am from Mt Pleasant and Prestige was reccomended by a neighbor. After several poor experiences with Julius and On the Spot  I feel blessed to have found Prestige.  They are excellent and they go above and beyond to provide phenomenal customer service.  My clothes look like new. Its 15 from the fulton area and 5 mins frim from the bridge with a parking lot.  I encourage anybody that needs cleaning of any sort to use Prestige

New to the area and couldn’t be happier to have found Ben and his dad’s business. Curbside service on Folly on the way to work doesn’t get much more convenient, and they give you a claim ticket with text updates if your stuff is available sooner. Definitely worth giving them a try even if you’ve been going somewhere else for a while.

Had a same day dry cleaning emergency. The owner helped me out personally and got it handled in a few hours. Would recommend to anyone needing a dry cleaner service! Family run business and does an outstanding job dry cleaning, even better customer service.
