Usually I have no problem here. The older gentleman who is there at night is ok but he has his days where he closes down the laundry facility early before 11pm when I’ve came in at 9:30pm to dry clothes he says he is closing bc his ride is coming at 10:30pm( Not the first time this has happened btw). Mind you they close at 11 pm per the sign on the door that’s been posted. I’ve been coming here for a year this man has been doing this. He also closes one of the other sliding doors early so customers are always having to walk the opposite side. He does it on purpose. I ask him about policy that day I was waiting on my clothes to get dried he claimed he closes and opens the store when he wants so I ask him if he has a policy bc why tell a customer you don’t have standard operating hours you follow and then what are the hours then? He said have a good night so I told him y’all need to update the signage that’s not my problem as a customer if it says you closed at 11pm then ok and all the other  locations says 11pm as well.
So what’s going on here.he is the only one that does this the other workers don’t and they close at 11pm. Unlike the older gentleman who does this. From the looks of the prior reviews this has been a on going problem and it hasn’t been handled the owner just apologizes and the man is still

This man is very rude the doors was locked at 8 PM on September 5 and the machine are 10 dollars and it doesn’t gain soap and I pored 2 bottles in my machine and it’s only water spining my clothes I will never come here again and when I was watching my clothes to see why it wasn’t getting soapy the man told me why am I standing there watching my clothes and I told him the machine wasnt gaining soap and he said let me see ur soap it’s because of the soap u got I use this soap at every other place and tht never happen before it’s just ur machines are broken then he took somebody’s soap and try to put some more soap in my machine with somebody else soap tht was in his basket by his clothes this old man is rude and I will keep reporting him stop locking the doors before 9:30 last wash FIRE him he has no business skills at all no people skills

I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE!!! There is an elderly guy who likes to close early when the closing time is 11:00 pm. I had one load to wash and dry. Apparently, the last wash is at 9:30 pm and the last dry is at 10:00/10:30 pm. I wasn’t aware. I arrived at 9:40 pm. Since I only had one load, I would have been done before 11:00 pm. I get that there’s rules, but there is a certain way to speak to customers. This elderly manager has zero people skills.

I didn’t know he was a manager at first. I thought he was a customer. As I’m trying to take one of the bins outside to load my clothes, he is following me, yelling and screaming. Again, I didn’t know he was a manager at this point. Then, I asked him, and he finally said yes. He could have introduced himself and explained the rules politely.

The rules aren’t the problem, it’s the way he treats and talks to customers. He doesn’t have the patience to work at this laundromat. He is extremely rude and didn’t answer my question when I asked him what time the laundromat closed. He has zero people skills and talks to customers any kind of way. There has to be someone better to manage this laundromat. Please hire someone else for the job, IMMEDIATELY!!!

Convenient  large facility,efficient inexpensive machines. It only Cost me $4.50 to dry a x2 loads of laundry. Relaxed family friendly environment.. definitely will be returning

Although I love doing my laundry here I hate having to fight with the HappyNest workers.  The HappyNest people will come here and take up 5 or 6 washers then 5 or 6 dryers to wash and dry laundry.   I then have to compete to dry my one basket of laundry.  I understand the HappyNest people are trying to make money but it’s unfair to basically do commercial laundry service in this facility.

I brought in a few items for cleaning, including a set of nice bedsheets and several designer button-down shirts. When I picked them up, I was shocked — the sheets were discolored, badly wrinkled, and even ripped. Two of the shirts had visible damage around the buttons and collars. These weren’t cheap items, and the lack of care was obvious.

When I asked about it, the owners, Patrick and Mary, showed no concern or accountability. They even tried to claim the sheets “came in like that,” which was absolutely not the case. Rather than offering to make things right, they brushed it off and acted like it wasn’t their problem.

This place has zero respect for their customers or their belongings. I wouldn’t trust them with a single item again.

Brought some military uniforms here to be cleaned and ironed. When I went home, the white uniforms had stains and improper ironing lines (“train tracks”) that weren’t there when I dropped them off. The manager then said they’d redo them for me. So I take them back and bring some other uniforms. These additional uniforms also weren’t ironed correctly. To be honest, I love the convenience of this place, but I would not trust them with your uniforms.

This place is a complete disaster. Not only were my clothes mishandled and returned in worse condition than when I brought them in, but the owners, Patrick and Mary, refused to take any accountability for what happened. They were rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in making things right.

When a business has people’s belongings in their possession, the least they can do is show some respect and responsibility — but that’s clearly not how Patrick and Mary operate. The whole experience was stressful, unprofessional, and downright infuriating.

There are plenty of dry cleaners who actually care about their customers. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from this one.

This place is a perfect example of the business model that is simply relying on lack of competition in a neighborhood - they are MASSIVELY overpriced, especially considering they do an average-at-best job on shirts and an awful job on suits or sport coats; oh, and they have absolutely no weekend hours, which is insane because in order to pay the absurd prices, most people are probably at work during the weekdays.

Honestly worst experience ever. I dropped my husbands shirt off two nights ago. The two girls who helped me were EXTREMELY rude. They acted like I was a nuisance for wanting to use this business. I dropped off one shirt to see how the service was because I have a ton of items I want to get cleaned but want to ensure they do good work first. Secondly I came to pick up his shirt tonight. The website says they close at 7pm. Well I was there at 6:30p and it’s completely dark, not a soul here. I guess when you let 16 year olds run a store you will get unprofessionalism and they won’t uphold business hours. This was my first time using Coastal Cleaners and I am disappointed. I won’t be using their services any longer and I will never recommend to any of my friends or family. Hopefully I will still be able to pick up my items whenever they do decide to come around.

Ruined a $900 dress. I came to pick it up and the white silk collar was pink. The woman handed it to me through the window and when my jaw dropped she said “oh, yeah.” And just kind of sighed. I could not believe it. Like, she was not even going to address that they ruined the dress? Someone else walked over and told me that the dye must have bled on the collar, then said she had to “go on her lunch break”. They did not offer me a refund and told me i need to container the retailer (Revolve) about using “cheap dye”. I am devastated and still in shock. Never in my life have i experienced such horrible service. Oh, and this was NOT my first bad experience here. Just the first time having my clothes ruined.  Do yourself a favor and do not go here. It’s not worth the risk.

I can't believe anyone thinks this establishment does quality work. I have also traveled the world and this dry cleaners is TERRIBLE!  I have given them multiple chances to correct their basic poor quality: burned collars and pants, misaligned pressing, faint blue stains on all my white dress shirts, and the straw that broke the camels back, train tracks on my Brooks Brothers suits.  What's more, they always find an excuse for why the issue is not their fault.  Although Kings valet has been my dry cleaners for years, it wasn't their fault all my white shirts have faint blue stains, or my premium dress shirts were pressed incorrectly, or my suit pants are burnt and have train tracks. It's always someone else who did it. Well I have had enough. Although their location is very convenient for me, I have promised myself I will never go there ever again. No more chances.  Do yourself a favor,  cut them off on their first mistake and always check your clothing before you take it home.

These people have some serious problems and have totally lost their minds! Took ONE cotton shirt there this morning, it's going to take them almost 5 days to clean it, and to add insult to injury, they refused to launder it and insisted that it had to be dry cleaned at a ridiculous cost of $10, when it used to be less than $5! Furthermore, they have someone working the counter who barely speaks English. I've been coming here for my dry cleaning needs for many years now, and they have now lost my business for good; I don't support or do business with thieves! Called other Dry Cleaners in the area, all of them with much, much better reviews, and they only charge $5.00 to Dry Clean the same shirt.

I was traveling and realized something was splattered on my travel jacket the morning of my flight. I called and they were able to get my item in that morning and have it ready by 3:30. Everyone was kind and helpful and when I showed up that afternoon to pick up my jacket, it was ready and very clean! They weren't sure they'd be able to get the stains out, but the jacket looked brand new! Very happy and will use King Valet Dry Cleaners whenever I'm in town!

This is a VERY unprofessional place of business. I’d like to say that we have used a variety of dry cleaning businesses and this is by far the worst service we have ever received. Not only were the cleanliness of my husband’s shirts and ties subpar, but the unprofessionalism when attempting to address and rectify the issue was ridiculous. We wanted to speak with the manager, rightfully so, and were redirected multiple times with NO resolution and sense of accountability. The clothes were in worse condition than when we dropped them off.. there is now a new, rust-like residual stain on his clothes. The quality of their 24-hour dry cleaning is similar to throwing your clothes in a broken washer machine/dryer at home.. so save your $90+. Not to mention, the staff were argumentative and rude with no regard to customer satisfaction.

Went in at 8:10 and was told same day is not available, would have to call them to have statement removed from website   I had 2 pieces, one was press only. Staff did not know what pressing service costs.

Clothes are never clean. Drop off and pickup are never consistent. Brought me someone else's clothes and let them sit on my porch for 4 days. Still haven't brought mine back. Collars never get cleaned. They don't give you an invoice they just charge your credit card at the end of the month, so who knows who's clothes I've paid to get cleaned since they bring the wrong ones. Worst dry cleaner I've ever dealt with across multiple states and multiple places within Charleston. It's almost unbelievable, like it's a prank show. Notnsure what to wear Monday morning now...

After 3 weeks of back and forth and telling me they would call me when the clothes arrived, they never followed through.....and when I would call they would act like it was the first time we had ever spoken...so strange it was like nobody there knew what in the world was going on....they send all the dry cleaning off sight and I swear this establishment is so dysfunctional and discombobulated....I am never going back.   And on top of it all there was never a sorry...nothing...just hey I only work here.   Sandy needs a whole new crew at the Mathis Ferry location.    Find anywhere else but here to take your clothes....disappointed at the lack of customer service and follow through.  They do not care about their customers at all. Dropped off 4 shirts and 4 pants Wednesday evening, picked up on Friday. Total cost $65, seems a little on the high side but everything was done as expected without issues. No surprises, exactly what I look for in a dry cleaner. I’ll use them again.

I was a new customer and they lost a shirt of mine. Asked me how much i paid for it, did nothing with this informationn, but told me if they couldn't find it i could come back for a claim. I found this to be unprofessional and not the best way to handle business.  I STILL paid for the dry cleaning of the lost item i might add. They never  called me to tell me they have it i guess it's my responsibility? I also went yesterday at 3pm to buy a mask but they were not open even though the hours clearly state they are open until 4pm on Saturdays. I don't know if i just have bad luck with them but i won't be returning .
