You will not find a 520 Bowe machine anywhere near hear. It's a marvelous machine and the cleaning and service is a very good standard. Never a delay and will tackle any problem with a good will and intention to bring the garment back to life. Used for leather as well and had a new jacket returned fully restored, for a v fair price.

The owner of this shop is a jolly chap. Nothing is impossible for him. Excellent customer service. The price charged is very reasonable and product has been cleaned professionally with a smile. I would use him again. Well done and keep up the good work - see you soon!

Ridiculous, the OWNER wanted to charge me £20 for a Holister Coat because of the brand. When I told him it's over 5 years old. And the price he quoted is expensive. Then, he just shrugged his shoulders. Since the Owner make prices on spot and benefits from BIG brands I left shop and I went to J&S Dry Cleaners. And paid £10, happy days.

Gave my jackets back in a new condition. I was hopeless with the amounts of stains and state my jackets were in. He is fast, reliable, extremely professional and gets the job done in the best way possible. Caters to urgent / same day jobs which is fantastic and better than most dry cleaners.

I took my badly stained wedding jacket to be dry cleaned which had accidentally had gravy spilt down the back of it. The helpful staff advised that they might not be able to remove all staining but they would do their best. Imagine my surprise and delight to find that all stains had been removed and the jacket looks like new. Well done Sue and all staff for working your magic.

Used this dry cleaner for a Menswear Louis Vuitton Bomber Jacket. The customer assistant provided me with in a depth description of potential risks associated with dry cleaning a high value item whilst ensuring the item of clothing received necessary treatment to remove grease stains. I asked multiple questions and even rang after dropping the garment off to ask further questions, the Customer Assistant was more than happy to help and was very patient and understanding with my queries. The turnaround was super fast and I was able to collect within 24-48 hours. The stains lifted from my garment and the quality of the garment was still maintained. Will definitely be using again. Very thankful for the service I received :)

Very bad experience the first time, my dress wasn't clean. The second time they washed one of my faux fur coats worth over 400 pounds and it became frizzy and dry to the touch. Do not tumble dry!!! but they used and now it looks like it's 30 pounds. I'm so angry I'm never going back！

Needed my tux dry cleaned for an event and was warned that I'd have to collect it today as the shop would be closed from Thursday onwards.
I totally spaced but luckily the owner called me and kept the store open past close so I could collect my tux!

This review is for the Alvaston branch of Bright Dry Cleaners. I took my long winter coat, which cost nearly £100, to be dry cleaned. A few days later, I picked it up and, upon trying it on at home, realised it had shrunk by about 2 inches all over, with the lining hanging down awkwardly.

I returned to the shop to complain. The manager, Nav, assured me he’d get the lining altered to fit and would refund the cleaning cost of around £25. He promised to call me when it was done. However, a week passed without any updates, so I called him. He apologized, claiming he was ill and hadn’t been able to call me back, but said he would check on the coat and follow up. Days later, still no call.

I decided to visit the shop again and found a woman steaming my coat. After waiting about 15 minutes, I tried it on, only to see no improvement. The arms were still an issue, the lining still hung unevenly, and the overall length was a mess.  It was clear that whoever had worked on the coat had no proper expertise, leaving it puckered and poorly altered.

Nav wasn’t there, so I called him from the shop. He claimed his car had just broken down and couldn’t talk at length, but assured me he’d resolve the issue soon. I left the coat there once again. After more than a week without hearing anything, I returned to find my coat hanging on a rail. It was obvious nothing had been done. Trying it on confirmed this.

Frustrated, I complained again, and the assistant in the shop called Nav, handing me the phone. Nav said there was nothing more he could do. When I brought up compensation, he claimed to have spent £53 on altering the lining and suggested that, had I mentioned compensation earlier, he wouldn’t have bothered with the alterations. Regarding the promised cleaning refund, he claimed he didn’t have enough money in the till—this was during a busy afternoon. He took my bank details, promising to transfer the refund, but weeks later, I’ve received nothing. Repeated calls went unanswered.

The entire experience has been disgraceful. My coat is now completely ruined due to their incompetence, and their failure to provide proper service or resolution is appalling. If you have anything of value, avoid this dry cleaner at all costs—they’ll destroy it! I absolutely do not recommend them!

Definition of a launderette is a coin operated machine for public use....this is not a launderette. Service washes are welcome at £15. The picture of the silver machines in the advert was not here, I include a photo of the machines of which I was told only one small machine was available and working. They said it would be ready in a week.
When I picked up the coat at home, I saw that it was in the same condition as it was.
I paid £20 and waited a week. In the end, I paid and they did absolutely nothing with it.
This is the first time I've experienced this in England.
They probably thought I wouldn't notice the difference.
I am very upset by this attitude.

IMPRESSED beyond belief. SANDRA is an ABSOLUTE STAR. I handed in 4 pairs of trousers this afternoon and did myself a quick check of the pockets. Minutes later I had a call on my mobile from Sandra telling me she had found an amount of cash in one pair of trousers. I came back to the shop and was handed £40 cash more than the cost of the dry cleaning. This proves Sandra is quite exceptional 100% honest, genuine and a credit to herself her family and employer. Thank you again Sandra, I wish there were more people like you in the world, you have shone bright today which is why you are a genuine star.

I've taken my suits here quite a few times and can't say I have any complaints...staff seemed ok, dry cleaning seemed ok. Glad they have extended their opening times recently as it was difficult to get here after work.
Lost a star because: i'm not keen on having multiple plastic tags punched through the lining of my expensive suits just to attach dry cleaning tags. It leaves holes. Surely it can be done in a way that doesn't damage the suit liner?

It is absolutely the worst cleaner I ever used. My shirt is absolutely damaged after the wash. They said they followed the care label but clearly they did something wrong. My brand new Lavin shirt was heavily shrunk and broken after the wash. They said they will put the shirt to their own investigation team where they can test the process of cleaning. But how could you possibly tell which temperature and method they used for cleaning with the UV light? It made utterly no sense to me. So i waited for their call or text as they said they will contact me back after few working days (within a week). However, I had to call them asking for the results. They said the same thing again and again. They never said sorry or offered the compensation. Overall, they have terrible customer care and worst washing technique. Hence, I firmly suggest not to use this shop. Hope you guys do not make the same mistake.

The coat I brought in was from a second hand store. Neither the stains nor the smell was removed. There were some hairs on it when I brought it in and the coat had the same ones on it when I picked it up which leads me to believe they actually didn’t do anything with the coat and just gave it back.
