DISHONEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Look at recent reviews. This place has gone way downhill. I had previously gone here for dry cleaning a handful of times without incident. My girlfriend stained her favorite white jacket with strawberry juice while on a work trip. I took in the jacket and pointed out the stains like usual. When I went in to pick up the piece a week later all of the stains were removed except for the biggest, most obvious one, which I thought was odd. When I asked about it, the proprietor said they would try again and to come back in 1-2 days. I came back two days later and he said the stain wasn’t budging, but based on where he retrieved the garment from and the way he spoke, it didn’t seem like he was being completely honest and I’m pretty sure they hadn’t made another attempt to remove the stain (in addition to likley unintentionally skipping the big stain originally). I took the jacket home and did what I probably should have done first, try to remove the stain myself. Magically, a few minutes with a Tide To Go pen removed the stain that a professional drycleaner was unable to remove purportedly after multiple attempts. Bad enough that they failed to accomplish a simple stain challenge, but even worse that they lied about it instead of acting with professional respect and integrity. I had read and my own previous experience was that this dry cleaner was brusque/unfriendly/borderline rude, but honest and skilled so I guess he’s now just rude, dishonest, and incapable.

Sea Breeze Cleaners is my new go-to. They remove even the toughest of stains, and somehow always have our items ready early. Once they were able to steam clean a leather bag (which two other cleaners turned down) with great results, in 10 minutes!!

I've bounced around to a couple different dry cleaners and have finally settled on these guys as my go to cleaners. I've had just about every experience you can have with any dry cleaning service from good to bad and and in between but this place being the one place that is all good. They have such exceptional service and a great turnaround. They've been able to get out stains that no other dry cleaners have been able to. Nothing ever goes missing and everything comes back super clean. They are probably the best kept secret as far as dry cleaners go.

I dry cleaned my white shirts with this dry cleaner, and they turned every one of them yellow in splotches. When I brought the shirts back to ask if they could fix it, they accused me of spilling white wine on every single one of them. I don’t even drink white wine. They did not compensate me for the shirts, or the cleaning, and yelled at me.

Fantastic service! They helped me with my suit at the last minute and finished with time to spare! Bonus: The Rotor on the counter!

Workers bring their dog on deliveries,, leave the dog in the hot van out front while owner/worker is inside sorting clothes. Im sure there is dog hair all over the clothes too. Bad cleaners.

Archie and his staff are the absolute BEST!  They are the only ones I trust with my favorite things!  I once called in a panic when I was out of town and got grease on a favorite silk blouse. As a small business owner it pains me to leave a bad review and I have to have a really terrible experience to do so. We are a vintage store down the block, and send people here for neighborhood fixes. The last time I was here two items were repaired incorrectly and she refused to refund or fix the repairs that were wrong (one zipper in a Gucci skirt was seen in crooked and a leather jacket zipper was repaired with a broken zipper!) and then an argument that was so exhausting going in circles for the discount- we shouldn’t have to pay for incorrect repairs! I am never coming back and will not be sending our customers, which is a shame because I’d like to have a neighborhood spot to send people.

I paid them $75 to alter 3 pairs of pants but they only did 2 and insisted that they did all 3. They were very rude. Do not go here unless you like being ripped off.

The affordable dry cleaning prices caught my eye and I decided to drop off 10 items. Unfortunately, three of them came damaged, two of them came back with oil stains, and another two came back nearly untouched. They were willing to re-do two out of the seven, claiming that returning too many at once will look bad on the business.

As for the damaged pieces of clothing, I kindly asked if they could reimburse the cost of dry cleaning the three pants. However, the male owner proceeds to yell, refuses to accept responsibility, and tells me to do it myself. The female owner awkwardly asks me to just leave and come back another time. I advise you to save your time, money, and go somewhere else.

The people working here were all very nice and helpful. Great and fast service, best price point we could find after a bit of quick googling.

I love this place! The staff is professional and prompt. The absolute best part of Mulberrys Townsend is Hanna, their tailor. I’ve worked with many tailors over the years, but she is truly the most talented I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. She consistently delivers exceptional results on every alteration, from cropping and tapering pants to custom-fitting unique jackets. I can’t recommend their services highly enough!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Mulberrys! I needed my dress altered for a formal event by the end of the week. Hanna completed the alteration even earlier than expected (like within a couple of days) which I was so grateful about! Also, she did a beautiful job on the alteration!! The WORST experience with a dry cleaning service, ever. I don't normally post reviews but I think everyone should be warned to never entrust your clothing with this company. I bought this dress for a wedding in June 2023. I wore the dress ONE TIME (at said wedding) and dropped it off the next week for cleaning with Mulberry's. When I picked up the dress, it was completely ruined, with no hope of repair. I immediately called in to the store and spoke with the manager, who told me to drop off the dress so that they could open an investigation.  Weeks went by. WEEKS. I called in multiple times each week and the manager was never able to come to the phone and did not once return my call. Finally I was told that I would need to call the cleaning facility where the actual garments are cleaned (which was the first time I learned that the clothes are not cleaned on-site). After calling the facility, I then received an email that my dress was damaged in the cleaning process. They offered me a $170 credit as a consolation.

I explained to them that I had zero intention of ever using their services again and provided the receipt of my dress, which cost $350, and asked that they reimburse me for the cost of the dress they ruined. They continued to claim that their Terms and Conditions would not allow coverage of the full amount. We had to go back and forth for almost two months before I finally relented and agreed to a $200 check. I essentially PAID THEM $150 to ruin a dress ,that they kept.

I don't have time or energy to fight them anymore. And they know that. It's so shameful that they think this type of behavior is acceptable. Please, I urge you to read the countless other reviews of people like me (who have been wronged),  and do not give this establishment your business. Their list of egregious behavior is easy to find online and I can't stand the thought of more people losing money to this scam of a company.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from Mulberrys. I left my white leather fur jacket for dry cleaning through the pickup service provided at the front desk of my building. After they collected it, I received an email with the cleaning quote—but the cost was nearly as much as what I paid for the jacket itself (which was thrifted), so I declined the service and asked for my item to be returned.

That was on April 1st. They acknowledged my request and said they would return the jacket. However, by April 6th, I still hadn’t received it, so I followed up. I was then told that my jacket had mistakenly been sent to the leather cleaner, and they would ask to have it sent back.

On April 8th, I checked in again and was told it would take “a few days.” Now it’s April 16th, and I still don’t have my jacket. I emailed again yesterday and haven’t received any response.

This entire experience has been frustrating, especially for a simple request to return an item.

Mulberrys ruined my $600 jacket and refused to take any responsibility.

I trusted them with a brand-new tweed jacket from Sandro that had a minor drink spill. As it was expensive, I paid extra for insurance thinking it would cover any potential damage. When the jacket was returned, the tweed was torn & frayed all over, and covered in extreme pilling. I was shocked that they could return something in such terrible condition and contacted them immediately.

They agreed to inspect it and later insisted on sending it to the Dry Cleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI) to “determine the root cause,” saying I wouldn’t be eligible for compensation otherwise.

Over a month passed, and eventually they claimed the damage was due to a “construction issue” with the jacket manufacturer — Sandro, an extremely reputable European designer brand — and denied any responsibility.

Despite my efforts to explain the jacket was high quality & in brand new condition before they handled it, they refused to take accountability and told me to deal with the brand directly. At the end, they returned the ruined jacket without any sort of compensation.

TLDR: Avoid Mulberrys if you care about your clothes. Even if you pay for insurance, they will not take responsibility for any damage.
