Rang to check they had a large drum machine to take a double bed topper. The lady was very helpful, told to come down-so no wasted journey. All washed and dried. Lovely staff and a clean environment, definitely recommend.

I'm really sad to write this review because I wanted to give five stars originally and I hate leaving negative reviews for local businesses but I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I brought my wedding dress for last minute dry cleaning as my alterations were delayed so I was really happy when they agreed to turn it around in time for me.  However when I picked up my dress the cleaning process had destroyed the cups in my dress and I've spent the day before my wedding glueing them back together - not the stress I needed! The guy who does the dry cleaning is nice and seemed so helpful but completely denied this damage was anything to do with them and insisted that it must have been my seamstress, even though I know the dress was fine before the cleaning. Really disappointing. In the end I just took my dress and left because there wasn't anything else I could do. I paid £140 for the cleaning, no idea if this is the going rate as prices aren't transparent.
I'd suggest if you are going to have your wedding dress cleaned here, get it done before your alterations so any damage can be fixed.

Delighted with alterations to my curtains. Nina added extra fabric to lengthen existing curtains, and then made 2 lovely cushions with left over fabric. Top quality alteration, looks so smart. And all in good time.

I decided to go here, due to it being one of the local dry cleaners to me that actually do everything in house, unfortunately there isn’t many about now.

So amazing! I just went in today with a satin dress I have for a ball on Thursday that needed steaming - they were so helpful! After this place was recommended to me, I visited to have some patches sewn onto my leather vest. I dropped it off on a Friday and was told it would be ready by Tuesday.
When I went to pick it up, I was very disappointed to find visible holes in the leather—clear signs of poor workmanship. This vest is something I had been searching for over a long period. I eventually ordered it from the U.S. and waited quite a while for it to arrive.
While I won’t go into detail about the price or the sentimental value it holds for me, the damage done is truly frustrating. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend their services.

Myself and my family have always used this particular store (sandiacre) for everything watches and dry cleaning. Stephen in particular has always been an absolute star! Couldn’t recommend more.

My mum popped in today with my boyfriend’s suit which needed ironing for a wedding! It was done while she waited, brilliant service and very helpful.

Used the launderette today for the first time and was served by a lovely lady named Marie. She provided fantastic customer service and was very helpful. The shop was clean and well looked after. I'll definitely be back to use these services, mostly because of Marie and her polite and friendly attitude

Charlie is absolutely amazing. I went with a bridesmaid dress in a creased ball and she worked her magic to make it look like a new dress. Always so friendly, helpful and accommodating doing the dress there and then. I will be back, and recommending this place just because of her.

Had the shock of my life when collecting my laundry which consisted of a double coverless quilt and a single one again coverless, I was told she couldn’t give me a price until they were done , now these are only 4.5 tog quilts so was expecting £20 ish, £36 !!!  What the?? Certainly won’t be getting anything done there again!

Staff are always so pleasant and so helpful! We are lucky to have such a great laundrette down the road.

Just came here today 10/11/2024 at 7:30pm to wash my work uniforms as I need for tomorrow, unfortunately the lady which I believe she do the cleaning she didn’t let me to wash my clothes cause it’s last wash time is 7:30 pm and as I asked every wash took 45 minutes and I don’t need to dry it’s just wash and go and still she didn’t let me to wash my clothes.
Please update your closing hours on Google map as people trust on that hours and come all the way as need EMERGENCY washings.

Great launderette in Nottingham. Machines of various sizes and all of them now seem capable of a boil wash! Reasonable pricing and the staff are always friendly. Change available from notes (and I’m sure if you only had card they’d give you change!). Lady will help you with the settings if not sure.
Massive 27KG machine for huge loads, and the small machines are bigger than house ones and can actually hold quite a bit!
Only thing letting it down is the 2 front machines are out of order and there’s sometimes a wait for dryers.. maybe you could look at investing in a stacked dryer set?
Another thing that’s disappointing is they’ve removed the “heavy soil” & “extra rinse” setting from the new machines. (Pre-wash is still available to select) Maybe they’ll consider bringing this back at some point (even if it’s at an extra charge!)?
4th machine in didn’t look too stable. (Compared with the others, although the doors do move on them all during the wash!).
Overall very good.

Would rather go somewhere else avoid them with some old age ugly female harassing myself.

The launderette was very clean  there was a change machine. Washers and dryers reasonably priced. Staff member very helpful

It was my first time here yesterday around 4pm. There was a very kind woman at the counter who helped me understand how it all works. I really appreciated her help. The machines are clean and well-maintained.

Good machines and amazing staff . I am a regular customer to this store . Had a experience in the store where I was waiting for the large drying machine for 30 mins because of the large laundry and some random guy who came from outside wants to use the same machine for a very small load because of your so called ‘priority rule’  to the customers who wash there . The staff helped me to resolve this situation and I really appreciate it . I would request you to review your  priority rule as people are leaving the laundry in the machine and come  back later demanding priority to the dryers which I think is unfair for the people who are waiting in the queue for long

Largely the self-service facilities are fine but could be a bit more informative. Please put a price list somewhere as all the machines have different prices / different loads. Also, what change the various machines take. I had to keep asking the staff which was annoying. Also useful to know duration vs price of the tumble dryers and to know before you've lost your money that using 20ps in the tumble dryer will waste your money.

Worst, worst launderette we have ever had the dire misfortune of dealing with. I use launderettes a lot because I'm disabled and doing one's own laundry can be really overwhelming in that situation. We purchased a sizeable service wash with Mainwise, Mansfield Rd and all our stuff came back shrunk, bleached out, and / or looking about 10-12 years older than it was before we submitted the laundry. With the elastic worn out. I don't know what they're doing to the stuff but presumably using tonnes of detergent and leaving the stuff in the dryers forever or they did so with our items. I have no idea. Anyway I called to complain and dropped by a sample of the laundry to demonstrate my point, at their request (at obvious personal cost and inconvenience). The managers said they saw nothing wrong with the clearly bleached and shrunken laundry and said they would not issue me a refund; a discount; nothing. When I threatened to leave a bad review they basically just said, that's your choice. Why put us through all that hassle just to blow us off. Apalling business. Avoid like the plague. They clearly have no idea how to protect clothes and simply label themselves a last resort for the desperate. So annoyed!

Had a white dress dried cleaned. Was a good price and was cleaned with in 4 days.
