Called this establishment inquiring about drop-off laundry service. The individual on the other end was the kindest, most polite person you could ever hope to speak to; it was like getting a hug from a stranger, but not in a creepy way. These days, good customer service is rare, and being treated with courtesy is even more unheard of.

The absolute best laundry service I have ever used. Exceptional service throughout the entire process from pickup to delivery. Top tier communication and the tightest folds west of the Mississippi. I wouldn't use anyone else.

This isn’t the first time I get my laundry stolen. And the thing that makes me mad is that they still laugh saying “I saw someone else pick it up”. Who’s going to pay my over $500 mattress cover including the first time: my mopping pads? I HAD TO BUT OVER 50 new mopping pads for my cleaning business. Never had an issue of my laundry being stollen over the past 20 years here till this year!

Above and beyond experience!

A family member recently died and I had to help their surviving spouse with overwhelming house needs. I contacted Autumn, the owner of the Laundry Authority, with questions about pick up and delivery of laundry. She responded in a very timely manner, laid out all of the costs clearly, and was incredibly helpful during a trying time. She was then very flexible and helpful when I dropped off 150+ pounds of laundry (it completely filled my SUV). She called with updates on particular types of clothing (things that need to be hung on hangers, sorting of men's vs. women's clothes) and then worked closely with me to make sure that laundry was delivered in the timeline expected (and even with text updates from when the clothes would arrive exactly).

I cannot say enough how incredible The Laundry Authority is and would recommend them for anyone.

Caution about trusting your clothes to this business. I used the wash and fold services for more than a year with no problems with the quality good. However, I recently had my laundry done and encountered multiple problems with quality.  Among other problems, a brand new designer sweatshirt was completely ruined by a significant color alteration and splotches. When brought to their attention they attempted to fix the problem with rewashing but it didn’t work and I am out a $65.00 item. In addition, I later found two pairs of recently purchased jeans and some of shirts with bleach spots. I did not receive an explanation as to what happened to the clothes and no offer of compensation.

Emily at Tide could benefit from customer service training.

I stopped in today to pick up another order. While there I explained my last order the interior lining of the dress was stitched directly into the seam of the zipper. The dress which I did not inspect after picking up last week was for our holiday dinner. I had to remove the stitching and see the dress at home as the work was poor quality and completely inhibited the use of the zipper.

It NEVER occurred to me I should double check their work. I don’t double check the car dealer has reassembled my car after an oil change.

As I explained to Emily the surprise and disappointment of such poor work, she blankly looked at me and then simple said “well we send those out to some for repair but we do free redos”.

Zero empathy, zero apology. Which was more annoying than anything. Exemplary customer service in my opinion is the ability to empathize and offer some  solace. I didn’t expect anything for free. It would have also be amazing had Tide checked the work caught the issue. You’re running a business and trust an outsourced vendor to represent your business. The outcome was poor. It’s not hard to do better.

UPDATE:  Response received from local owner mentioned (below) that a weekly text  or email was attempted.  That was 100% not the case.  I would like verification of what phone number and or email address you have on file.  I have done a thorough scrub of both my email and phone records and do not see where Tide Cleaners has called me.

PSA: Think Twice Before Using Tide Cleaners

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Tide Cleaners has left me extremely disappointed.

I recently went to pick up my clothes—only to find out they had been donated without my knowledge. Tide Cleaners has a “6-month donation policy,” which I was never informed of, nor could I find this policy disclosed clearly on their website.

Yes, I take responsibility for not picking up my items sooner. But with nearly $400 worth of clothing involved, I would have expected at least a phone call, email, or text alerting me before they gave my belongings away.

Tide Cleaners: this is unacceptable. You need to do better in communicating your policies. Customers deserve transparency and a chance to reclaim their property before it’s permanently gone.

I’ve taken numerous items to Tide Cleaners in Town & Country, and I’ve loved it. It is usually same day service and the employees are very polite and friendly. Tide is also very generous with coupons, so you are never paying a ton of money.

I had taken in a comforter for washing before and was pleased. So I brought in 3 coats for dry cleaning. One was cream colored. After "cleaning" when I got home, I saw that the cream coat still looked a little soiled near the bottom and cuffs (which I had pointed off when I dropped it off) and had lots of lint on it and even hair on stuck on the back.  I returned it to be cleaned again.  The soiling along the edges didn't look much better (other than brush rake marks - don't they have solvents to remove dirt?).  They had also made a new grease spot near a button.  It still had lots of lint, but at least the hair on the back was gone.  I got out the grease spot with dawn, lightened the soiling along the edges with dawn, and went over the whole thing with a lint cleaner, getting off about the same amount of line that I would find on my dryer lint filter after a small load.  Not sure why I bothered to take it in since I had it looking better. Makes me wonder how "clean" the other two darker coats are.

I love the ease of taking dry cleaning to Tide cleaners. Pull right up to the door and do everything from the car without having to park and walk in. This is especially wonderful with kids or when the weather is unpleasant. Obviously, the quality of the service is also worthy of the rating. I can’t speak to how they handle any issues that might arise as I’ve never had one with them.

Yon Cleaners

Excellent dry cleaner.  They do quality work at reasonable prices and have very customer-friendly hours.   I had them alter a wool winter coat that had become too big and they did an impeccable job on it, too!  I'd definitely recommend them for both cleaning and alterations.

Would I recommend Yon Cleaners?  Yes!  Without hesitation.

I have been using Yon exclusively for the past four years and they have been great.  I can't imagine going anywhere else and I have tried several alternatives over the last twenty years.  Yon beats them all.  Quality and timeliness of their work is on par with the most expensive cleaners in town while their prices are reasonable and in my opinion a real bargain when you consider the quality.  I regularly have dress shirts laundered and pressed but have also had dress pants repaired, patches sewn on a letterman jacket, and my wife's dress altered .  All of this combined with genuinely pleasant customer service makes me hope they stay in business well beyond when I need their services because I would prefer to give them all of my future business.

So, Yes, I would recommend Yon Cleaners without hesitation to anyone who asked for a recommendation.

We parked in front of the store, just like MANY people were, to run into the ice cream shop. Mind you, nobody was in the place, and it was closed WAYYY prior to us being there. We were not doing anything wrong besides eating our ice cream, when I looked up because I saw something move in the place, and it was a lady with a REALLY angry face, and she was shooing us off aggressively. I would understand if she came out and said “hey, could you guys by chance move your vehicle?” I would have said “oh no problem!” And moved. But no, she had to ruin our day and we ended up just leaving and calling the day off.

Great equipment and wonderful manager, who is more than willing to assist and advise you if necessary.

Do not go to this place!!! I usually go to the place down the road by taco Bell. Figured I'd try this one...
Spent twice as much, took 20 minutes longer and still wasn't dry. Finally gave up and went to finish at the other spot. A VERY expensive lesson learned!
