Darkhorse Launderette/Speed Queen Coin Laundry

Owner was cleaning when I walked in. Place was neat, clean, all the machines were working, and the owner answered my list of questions. It's been a while since I have been to a mat. Later when the owner realized I was doing charity work and needed some supplies, he did not hesitate to find me what I needed and help with my monumental task. Amazing. Plus, before he left, he reminded me to just call the phone number if I had any more questions. The machines worked at the exact amount, no quarter wasted. I had all the big machines on one end going and half of the dryers. It was warm and comfortable inside (on this near 0*F day!) and there was plenty of seating and tables for folding. Customers were friendly and everything went pretty fast. Info that I was looking for in reviews: Large Machines hold up to 35lbs (I had all light clothes, filled it with maybe 20lbs. $7.50, only needs 1/4 cup detergent, and only takes 25 min! Dryer is 25c per 5 min, but they get nice and hot and dry things quickly. The entire large load fit into one dryer. Normal-sized speed queens (maybe 35-40 units) cost $3.00 I think. 2 quarters for each slot (I finally learned). 5 thumbs up 👍👈🤙🖖🤟

The facility is clean and the owner is nice BUT I just had all my Gain laundry pods, gain softener, color safe bleach and gain dryer sheets stolen. I also had to spend money to dry my clothes on THREE dryers because two were broken. What a waste of time and money. I WONT be back

Was able to get ahold of that the owner and get my money back right away after one of the machines Eat it. Dryers and washers worked well!

First time in many years doing laundry out but waiting delivery of new appliances. Cleaner than anticipated. Issue I had was no signage as to fees on some washing machines ...had to ask a regular. Folding table was clean and most floors. Was surprised that still using quarters...lots of quarters. Clientele were courteous and friendly.

Heads up! Dryer Machines that have a keyed out X. Those DON'T work. For example, dryer machines: 14, 15, 18, 19, 21, 22, & 24. Have an X. After adding 1.50 in coins, it is when noticed. Also No carts to help you transfer your clothes around.
