A family Easter photo came up on my feed this eve of a dress I never received back from this cleaners. It has been over a year or maybe more and I still get upset thinking about it. I had used them sporadically when needed but heard they did well with $$$ clothing. I had taken a long pleated silk dress, a black satin/poly dress coat, an imported linen with hand embroidered dress and a few items in to be dry cleaned. I’m pretty sure there was an issue with their machinery as the inside around the neck of the coat was ironed too hot and the design in the fabric was pressed flat. Thank god it was not visable. The $$$ pleated dress was ironed completely flat all the way around. The manager did her best to redo it - although it is no where near the same elegant pleats as it was before. I was pretty flustered dealing with trying to replace the pleated dress (which i was unable) It wasn’t until a while later that I realized I never received the embroidered linen dress. I called numerous times, I went in personally and just as others have stated - I was never given a truthful answer other then they returned it or I never brought it in. I had cut one of the ties a bit shorter and even sent them a photo of the dress for them to keep an eye out for it. I looked up the reviews for the cleaners to see if they were even still in business this evening and was saddened to hear others have had clothes not returned. I remember when I brought the dress in, gal commented on how beautiful it was. I would be shocked if she or another employee stole it - and would be saddened to know it was ruined while cleaning it -but gosh I’m just not sure how a business doesn’t care about not returning someone else’s property or being truthful. Especially when the item was $$$ and could not be replaced . Guess I learned a lesson as I always take a photo of all items being cleaned and returned even tho thankfully I have not had this problem again

The things that make companies thrive the most are their devoted employees. Fernando has great customer service and always goes the extra mile to please his customers. He was able to fix a sweater that looked pretty beat up. Now it likes like new again!!

My go-to neighborhood cleaners. Being permanently disabled, having the ability to simply drive up, and they come to your car for drop-off or pickup is extremely convenient & helpful for me. I've had some unique & difficult requests, one to restore an old jacket & they've always come through, leaving me impressed. Highly recommended and not once in 6 years have I had a single issue.

I had suits and pants tailored. Pants were way too big and jacket was too tight. Went back again to get items fixed and when I picked up items a second time, pants were still way too big again and didn’t fit at all. Wasn’t going to go back and a third time. Had to pay another tailor $160 to fix after I shelled out $270 with Village East Cleaners. Very frustrated and will never Village East cleaners again.
