Queens Laundromat

Like the laundromat. Provide good service and fare priced. The machines there are clean.

A significant majority, about 80%, of the machines here are non-functional. The few that do work are notably outdated, requiring the owner to remove the machine cover to initiate operations. Additionally, the change machine and soap dispenser are both out of order. There's a preference for cash payments over using coins to operate the machines. With a hefty price of $5 per load, this place stands out as notably expensive compared to nearby locations that offer newer and more efficient machines. Moreover, the cleanliness level here is unsatisfactory, adding to the overall disappointing experience, didn’t even bother to use the dryer, taking my business elsewhere.

It's a normal laundromat, it has washers ranging from $2.50 to $7, it has dryers that function in 5 minute/$0.25 increments. The washers could be cleaner in the liquid and powder depositing locations but it gets the job done. I'm used to doing my laundry for $9.75 for 3 double loads including dry, it was $11 for two triple loads and 30 minutes of drying here but my clothes were like all other times I've washed them. I personally wouldn't trust my laundry here by itself given the amount of homeless I see living in the area. The staff were friendly when spoken too however which is a plus.

My wife dropped a dress off for dry cleaning here. The day AFTER it was supposed to be done, they informed her she would have to go to a location on Ottawa Street to pick it up. For a $20 dry clean, that's ridiculous and inconvenient. I've changed from 1 star to 3 star since they gave us $10 off and apparently their store was broken into (?), but for the inconvenience we could have just spent $12 at a different local laundromat.

The most expensive place in Hamilton. I took some shirts to get washed, pressed and hung on hangers. They don't want and press, they only dry clean because they send out to a plant for service. I took a bundle of items to them on a Tuesday, they told me they would be back on Saturday. I went to them the following Wednesday and they had not returned from the plant yet.They called the plant and the guy was having problems with their vehicle. I was told they would be there later that day. I tried again on Wednesday, nope still not arrived. I finally was able to return on Thursday and finally they were there. Save your money and your time. Oh - don't trust their hours, they say open until 9pm, but they were closed at 8pm.
