In A Spin Laundry

Lovely little piece of heaven for me today. Staff are lovely especially the young lady who was very polite and happy busy working away !

Doesn't even deserve one star !! definitely would not recommend this Laundrette. appeared very friendly and helpful at the beginning when I first rang for a quote. I was told it would be one large service wash of £22 after I listed exactly what there was and then was called up once ready to collect to be told a price of £66 triple to the original price quoted. no phone call to tell me this price change just went ahead and did it anyway. this was all brand new caravan bedding that I wanted just freshening up. all the same colour. I tried to explain to the owner what his wife had said but he was just being argumentative calling me a Liar. I've since rang round other Laundrettes listing what I had and all was around the first price I was given saying it would definitely be one large wash and at most one large and smaller so no quotes was more than £33 and I rang alot of Laundrettes. they all said no way would it be anywhere near £66 . anyway to save anymore hassle and being called a liar I had to pay the price to get my washing back. collected today and Laundrette was filthy. looked over the serving hatch and there was a dog lying on a filthy dog bed and was very dirty looking back there. nothing against dogs but not very hygienic and what about people with allergies. Not true just a hater he says. 🙄 excuse me but being quoted one price and being charged triple yes I'm a hater now for definite. You know everything I've said is true. I'm warning others of your awful business. I've been quite fair to be honest. So you didn't have a dog on a dirty old dog bed there with you today then.??? And you didnt charge me triple to my quote without contacting me ? Very unpleasant experience. Other people should be warned.!!

Friendly staff, clean and tidy. The low rating is entirely based on the very over inflated prices (even in this current economic climate). £3 = 15 mins. It’s expensive. The half load of light weight poly cotton garments and socks weren’t completely dry. The machines are +10 years old and don’t take new pound coins. You have to ‘exchange’ them. In my experience average national cost for tumble drying is around £1 = 9 mins.

I took my winter quilt in to be washed before I store it away in a storage bag, both the ladies were very helpful and cheerful, they sorted it out for me while I fetched another bottle of fabric conditioner from Home Bargins, I will definitely be going there again. Great for parking too.

I have used In a Spin, Langley Mill quite a few times now to freshen up duvets/mattress protectors etc and I can’t rate them enough. They work incredibly hard to return your items quickly and in pretty much a ‘new’ condition. Absolute credit where credit is due. They’re brilliant! Thank you so much!
