T.S. Cleaners

I have been bringing items to TS for a years now and the last two incidents have soured me on them for good. First, I brought a few pairs of pants in to be hemmed and taken in - it was all over the place. One came back lovely, another with a strange bulge in the back that ruined the pants. Two more weren’t even sewn, and had just been ironed at the seam where they would have taken them in and forgotten. I had to explain over and over again that the pants had not even been altered just to get them to fix them without double charging me. Finally, I brought in my favorite pair of trousers and some silk tops to be dry cleaned and they lost the entire order. I was in the process of moving at the time and no longer had the ticket with the invoice number, but they had nothing under my name and telephone. They basically said on the phone it would be too much trouble to look through everything, but I could come and go through the rack for them. Absolutely absurd and so sad. Never again.

I called to find out how much drop off wash and dry for bedding (told them blankets, sheets and comforters) and was told $4 a lb. on the phone. So I took them there only to be told that comforters are a set price $35 for light weight comforters and $40 for slightly heavier one. What would have ended up costing me around $40 for two lightweight comforters and a heavier one to be washed and dried (not even dry cleaned), ended up costing $110. And those comforters cost less to buy than the cost of cleaning them. I took the sheets and mattress pads home to wash myself as they would have pushed the cost up to $350. I recently only paid $25-30 for my wool Pendleton blankets to be dry cleaned at 2 other nearby locations just for comparison.

I’ve been going here for 3 solid years and have been generally satisfied until I dropped off my beautiful wedding dress and an other gown, paid almost $400 and the dress was not clean at all.When I brought it back to ask them to re-clean it, they refused and said they did. Pretty devastating after being a loyal customer but unfortunately will need to find a new dry cleaner here in NW.

Twice this cleaner has damaged expensive items of clothing I have brought here. The first was an autumn cashmere sweater that was returned to me with a hole in it: she tried to say it was there when I brought it in. It was 10000% not. This last time, With explicit instructions to protect buttons on Akris dress, the button was damaged. This dry cleaner may be fine for average clothing. Do not bring your designer garments here. They still made me pay for my dress even though they damaged it. The woman “sue” gives every excuse in the book but takes no accountability. Burned me once it’s on them, took a chance on twice but three times it would be my fault for thinking they are a viable option. I will not be back. Fair warning for your investment wardrobe…

I went in as a first time client with a zipper that needed to be replaced on a winter/snowboarding jacket. They were very kind, and did an absolutely incredible job. I am blown away at how good it came out. You would never even know it wasn’t the original. I’ve had such mixed experience with alterations and dry cleaning in this city, but this was a 10/10 experience. Thank you so much ❤️
