WARNING - owner insists on heat-sealing barcodes to all clothes. They do not ask for permission. You are not allowed to permanently damage people’s clothes for your own efficiency’s sake. The staff kindly agreed to remove, but it left permanent stain of glue. Will not be coming back 👋

They charged me $9 per cotton shirt even though I was quoted $3.50 per shirt by their employee and their location on Hawthorne. They don’t tell you about the price hike before swiping your card. When I questioned him about the price increase he replied “Most of my customers have the money don’t ask about the prices, so I never have to have this conversation with them!” Mind you, I too “have the $” or the balance wouldn’t be paid. Verify pricing before handing them your card. They don’t have to worry about cheating me ever again

I've been going to both Five Star locations since moving to Portland for their great service, reasonable prices, and friendly staff but the magic they worked on my winter coat has completely blown me away. I've had this heavy down coat for 6 years and it was definitely showing its age when I dropped it off - to the point that I was planning on investing in a new one. I picked it up this week and it hasn't looked or felt this good since the first year I owned it 🤩

My husband just had a bad experience with a lady at the counter a few moments ago. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a person of color. They charge a higher price and I quote “we don’t know you here so there’s an up charge” I’m pretty sure that’s not legal at all to tell a customer or charge a African American customer more because they are a first timer at your establishment. Legal action will be taken.

These guys are awesome. I have been taking my suits here the last couple of years. Always friendly and on-time. Once they even delivered to my door across town the day before an unexpected business trip. Awesome customer service, friendly people, and quality work keeps me coming back. Thank you!
