Lavandería Laundromat

Cleanest, best kept laundromat I've ever used. The machines take both credit/debit cards and quarters, and there are change machines on site. Need more quarters but not $10 or $20 worth? A billchanger will give you fives for that 10 or 20. Plenty of space for folding laundry as well. There are separate restrooms for men and women and they are kept clean and stocked. The staff is warm and friendly. A parking space right in front of the door is designated for unloading/loading laundry. Plenty of tables and chairs, tho some of the chairs are not very comfortable. 80s music plays on the sound system, and the wide screen TVs are tuned to children's shows.

THIEVES!!! DONT COME HERE As a single mom it’s already hard as it is financially but this place is seriously A SCAM! I haven’t been back for 2 weeks & I was a customer for a little over a year. The convenience of using your card at the machine is amazing but, THEY DON’T TELL YOU THERE’S AN IRREVERSIBLE FEE ON TOP! On the last occasion of me coming, I waved down a team member because the $2.25 dryer charged my card $4.50. The worker Jay brushed me off so nonchalantly & told me “relax it’ll be back on your card Monday.” Understandable, it was on Saturday & weekend processing. Monday comes, and I was never credited back that amount. I went over my transactions for the last 3 months I’ve come (I do laundry every 10 days or so), to find out an additional $50 was taken on top of the posted price!!!! I came back today to address the same employee & he’s now saying the card readers have an additional fee but they don’t tell their customers!!! $2.25 dryers will charge you $4.50 & the biggest washer for $9.25 will charge you $15!!!!

Update 10/2024 5th or so visit: This laundromat is spacious and generally well-maintained, but it could greatly benefit from adding more rolling baskets. With two large sides to the facility, there simply aren’t enough baskets to go around, especially during peak hours. I noticed that there are only about a dozen baskets available, which leads to a lot of waiting and frustration, as customers tend to hold onto more than one basket at a time. Adding a few more would make it easier for everyone to transfer clothes from washers to dryers without hassle. Overall, more baskets would improve efficiency and create a smoother experience for all customers. Original review: I’ve had a great experience using this laundromat. Conveniently takes cards. Machines are very clean. Good price and overall a good wash experience.

Tim and Denise assisted me by helping me to figure out the most cost efficient way to clean my three comforters and pillows. They were so knowledgeable, kind, and super professional! To top that off, the laundromat is extremely clean from top to bottom, and the laundry machines, of all sizes, seem like they are brand spanking new. It's so beautiful inside with bright and cheerful artwork and an overall colorful decor. Also, there are comfortable chairs and fun, non-blaring music plays in the background. The cost of $35 for two queen and one full size comforters, six pillows, and 4 shams seemed very fair to me. I was so impressed. Who knew I would ever be writing up a laundromat for being a beautiful, efficient, and fun place to go! This is THE place in SA to be for all your laundry needs!
