Lone Star Laundry

I recently had my first experience using a laundromat at Lonestar Laundromat on Babcock in San Antonio, and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction thanks to the wonderful attendant, Susie. With my mom currently in the hospital, having a safe and clean place to do laundry has been a huge relief, and Lonestar Laundromat, largely due to Susie's care, has become my go-to. Susie clearly takes immense pride in the laundromat; it's impeccably clean, and all the machines are well-maintained. Beyond the cleanliness, Susie herself is such a positive and welcoming person. She has a way of making everyone feel comfortable and safe, which I truly appreciate. You can tell she cares about the customers and the space as if it were her own. The owners or manager of Lonestar Laundromat are incredibly fortunate to have Susie on their team. She is a true asset and makes the laundromat a pleasant and secure environment for everyone. Thank you, Susie, for your kindness and for taking such great care of the laundromat!

this is not my second time at this laundromat they make you load a card. The cash function for getting a card never seems to work so they charge extra when you use debit and then the cards are malfunction. I have only use my card one time I just got it and today when I went in it literally wasn’t working on any machine it kept saying bad card orientation so I went ahead and purchased a new card. Loaded more money just for that same brand new card to say the same thing This place literally sucks. Don’t go here. I ended up driving down to laundry express, which is six minutes away Where they take Apple Pay cash and card no need to preload a card And you don’t have to watch out for homeless people either

It looks like a decent place but customer service is key. If I am a paying customer then I should be able to use the restroom! I'm going to pay to get my washer fixed no matter how much they charge me & not dry my clothes here just because of this!

First time coming here. It's a decent laundry mat. But if I'm coming to wash my clothes. I would like to be able to do it without a homeless person or two sleeping on top of the folding table with no shoes on.

Insane prices for washing. 4 laundry carts. Customers were guarding their carts like pound dogs guard their kibble, and I felt uncomfortable the whole time. The dryers are not set to a standard time or heat, and the only "value" to be found is in a MASSIVE washer that can handle WEEKS of laundry. They charge you to get a card that the machines use to run, and between all of that hassle, it does not matter that the attendent is sweet as pie, when just being there puts a bad taste in my mouth. I went once out of desperation, and will only being going back to empty out my card, else I feel they got away with my money. Facilites: 3/5 Staff: 4/5 Location: 2/5 Hours: 5/5 Cost: 1/5 Real Score: 4/5 if you can afford it.
