Rinse - Laundry & Dry Cleaning Delivery

I trusted Rinse with one of my most valuable pieces—a Maison Kitsuné cardigan—but unfortunately, it was returned with extensive pilling and visible damage. What’s been most frustrating is not just the damage itself, but how the situation has been handled since. The repair process is still ongoing, but so far it’s been extremely disappointing. Rinse seems to treat this issue as if it were any routine service, showing very little urgency or accountability. They declined my request for an earlier pickup—even though the damage was clearly their fault—and I’ve had to spend additional time and effort managing drop-offs and pickups. To make matters worse, the initial repair pickup was canceled last minute due to valet issues, adding to the inconvenience. Overall, I’m left feeling that Rinse doesn’t take responsibility for the damage they caused, nor do they show care in making things right. I’ll reserve final judgment until I see how the repair and compensation are handled—but up to now, it’s been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. ----UPDATE----- While the damaged garment was finally returned without pilling this time, the overall experience with Rinse remained incredibly disappointing. The customer service process has been a nightmare from start to finish. When I followed up, the representative I messaged didn’t even recognize who I was or have any idea who “Ron” (the original point of contact) was. There was no continuity, no urgency, and certainly no accountability. Despite the fact that the damage was clearly their fault, they refused to accommodate a simple request for earlier pickup/drop-off and treated the issue like a routine errand rather than the serious service failure it was. To make things worse, I specifically asked for the pickup/drop-off charge to be deducted from the credit(They insisted) they had offered me as compensation—but instead, they charged my card again. That’s simply unacceptable. This experience shows a serious lack of customer care and operational coordination. I won’t be using Rinse again, and I would strongly caution others from doing so. A service is only as good as how it handles its mistakes—and Rinse has failed that test miserably.

Absolutely recommend Rinse! With a small stackable washer/dryer at home, washing large items like comforters and dog beds just isn’t practical. I recently used Rinse to handle both — and I was thoroughly impressed. They picked everything up right on time, kept me updated with clear notifications, and delivered the items back at the time I wanted. Scheduling was easy with the app. The convenience was unmatched, and as a first-time customer, I received a $20 discount along with a free oversized duffel bag for future pickups — a nice touch! When everything was returned, it was fresh, clean, neatly packaged, and smelled amazing. If you’re looking for a hassle-free way to handle bulky laundry, Rinse is 100% worth it.

I appreciate your pickup and drop-off service, even though it was around 9:30pm. However, I’m very disappointed with the quality of the dry cleaning itself. This has been my worst dry cleaning experience to date. The wool Maxmara items were returned with visible dirt still on them, and the wool no longer feels soft or lies flat as it did before. I trusted your service with these garments, and unfortunately, they now appear damaged and potentially unwearable.

I've been grateful for Rinse I'm disabled and hauling my own gry cleaning has not been practical for years. When I learned about Rinse, it really solved a problem. It isn't cheap but I don't have a lot of dry clean clothing. Still I have been impressed at the quality of the cleaning and the efficiency of the service. The one time something was delivered a day later than promised they volunteered an apology and a rebate! So yes, 5 stars!

I really wanted to love this service, since the concept is pretty good, but I’ve had a terrible experience with customer service not owning up to their mistakes. I got the subscription service, ordered a pickup, and in the meantime, realized there was a hang dry option. When the valet got to my house, I asked if the hang dry cost the same. They said yes, I asked for the hang dry bag, they gave it to me, and I transferred all the items. Then… I was charged $200 for the bag, and my subscription credit was not used. So I contacted customer service and they said, no, actually hang dry is not part of the subscription. That’s fine, but the valet led me to believe that it was, and I did not authorize the charge, soooo… “best we can do is a $100 credit.” No thanks, I will be doing a chargeback, as I was misled by the company representative (the valet) as to what I was signing up to pay for. So I mean, did the laundry get picked up and arrive in time? …yeah. Was it clean? Mostly, I actually didn’t even have TIME to ask customer service about why some of my underwear appeared to be unwashed and then neatly folded. Will I be using this service again? No, because I lost trust in the company to handle my property with care, since they don’t even handle their customers with care.
